The Start Of It All

Dreams Have Consequences Too

You're standing on stage with five of your friends. You can feel your heart racing like it's about to explode. You've never performed in front of anyone before, except with your friends. But performing in front of your whole senior class was big. It was the last senior dinner you were going to have together so it had to be perfect.

Everyone at your school knew you and your friends loved K-Pop, so they weren't expecting anything else. The song you chose was B.A.P's “Warrior” and 2PM's “Heartbeat”. You just loved the thrill of dancing. When it comes to dancing, you love hardcore movements. Dancing “cute” just wasn't your thing. You wanted to show everyone what you were capable of.

You close your eyes and take a deep breath. The song starts and suddenly an adrenaline rush starts to flow through your body. You sang and danced your heart out. Fortunately, everyone was enjoying watching you and started cheering for you guys, which was a surprise because you weren't one of the popular kids nor did you ever get noticed by the guy you liked. They gave back the energy you gave to them. It was something different that you've never felt before.

When the song ended, you all take a bow and smiled. Your class is just rooting for you and your friends to see such an amazing performance. As you were looking through the audience, you suddenly see someone familiar. You tried to adjust your eyesight, but the man left before you could notice him. You decided to brush it off since you were still on stage.

As soon as you got off the stage, you decided to look for the familiar man. I swear he looked like Park Jinyoung. Even though it was a one in a million chance, you just wanted to see who that man really was. Twenty minutes passed and still no sight of him. You gave up and headed to your dress room. As soon as you opened the door, your jaw dropped.

"P-P-Park Ji-Jin Young!” You stuttered, looking at the one and only, JYP. You bowed and greeted him.

"Hello! I saw your performance back there. You did a pretty great job.” He said, looking quite impressed.

“Ah! Thank you! Thank you so much. You have no idea what it means to me hearing it from you!” You said as you bowed a few times.

“Ani yo! You don't have to thank me. It was all you. Anyways, so your friends and I had just talked about your performance and have come to a conclusion”.

“Huh? What conclusion?” you asked confused.

“Well, we talked about your performance and decided that you should come to Korea and be a trainee.” He said quite excitedly.

POV: YOU

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. JYP wants ME to be a trainee?! I would have never imagined in my whole life this would ever happen to me. Singing and dancing were always just a habit I loved doing. But to actually be at JYP and someday debut is just.....AMAZING!!!

“Oh my gosh! I can't believe this! Your joking right? I asked in astonishment.

“No, I'm not. I see something in you Da Yoon.” He replied smiling.

I look at my friends who are next to us listening in to our conversation. Anyone looking at them can tell that they are about to explode! They can't believe this is happening either.

“But I can't leave my friends. We worked hard on this together. I can't just leave them and go.” I said.

He chuckled and replied, “Oh don't worry about it. They agreed on it together that you should go. We are all cheering for you.”

“You have to go Da Yoon! We all would feel so guilty if we stopped you from taking a once in a lifetime opportunity!” Nicole said excitedly.

Nicole is one of my best friends. I tell her everything. But sometimes, she can be quite the talkative girl! I knew she was bound to say something. But she's actually encouraging me to go! Hmm...Well, it IS a once in a lifetime opportunity. What can I lose? I'll be doing the two things I love doing: Singing and dancing. I thought to myself for a second.

“To be honest, I would love to go. But I HIGHLY doubt my parents would ever let me go. I mean, I couldn't even go to college a few miles away, let alone them letting me go to Korea and letting me become and idol.” I say sadly.

My parents were always against me wanting to be an idol. They thought it was a waste of my time. They don't see all the hard work I put into everything I do. They practically forced me to go into the medical field. So I just made a random decision and decided to become a pediatrician. I mean I love kids and all, but being a doctor up all your energy.

“Don't worry, we will figure something out. Just get back to your party and I will meet you when you all finish. Neh?” He chuckled and left.

I always thought he was the scary type. But talking to him, I completely changed my views. Unless.... once I start training he will be mean and stuff. I'll try not to think about it very much. I just want to get back to the party and enjoy the last time... well second last time I have with my senior class. I'm really going to miss them tons. Especially my friends.

Chapter 43: Aigoo ... Taec, Khunnie, Youngie and Chanana ... Ohhh ... Personally I would prefer her with Wooyoungie coz he seems most "trusting" in this story. Also, he has family problems too, so he will understand her a little bit better than the other boys. But I'm still happy as long as you UPDATE! SOON!!
