You stayed with Junhong till he felt drowsy and went to bed. You pulled up the soft blankets and tucked Junhong in as gently as possible to not wake him up. Your eyes landed on his peaceful face and smiled. He had the same effect on you, just like his doppelganger Totomato. You noticed his black roots were growing out and you reached out to touch his smooth hair. It was like you're noticing Junhong for the very first time. His cheeks were chubby and even when he's sleeping, his dimple was still noticeable. You poked it and giggled to yourself.

An awkward cough dragged you out of your thoughts. You whipped your head to the left and saw Yongguk leaning against the wall, with one hand covering his mouth. You immediately stood up and your lips nervously. Did Yongguk see that? Did he misunderstand? Your mind lingered back to Junhong's note "I know you love him and I know he loves you too." You admit, you felt something for Yongguk before he left and you were broken and devastated when you realised he left. But was that love?

"We went to check up on the others just now. The wounds on Himchan and Daehyun have been treated and they have to stay overnight for observation. On the other hand, Jongup and Youngjae are fine and my friends are accompanying them home." Yongguk explained as he walked towards you.

"How about you? Why didn’t you go with them?" Yongguk stopped right before you and looked down into your brown eyes.

"So you're saying I should go with them and leave the love of my life alone with my love rival?" Yongguk raised an eyebrow at you, as if to state the most obvious thing in the world. You broke eye contact and took deep breaths to calm yourself down. How could he be so straightforward. You pushed his shoulder slightly so that there's a passage for you to leave the room. Once outside, you leaned against the wall and touched your burning cheeks.

"Stupid Yongguk. Stupid confession. Stupid heartbeat. Stupid red cheeks." You muttered under your breath as you looked down and played with the hem of your shirt. A shadow fell upon you and you gasped in shock at how close Yongguk was standing. You didn’t even realise he exited the room while you were busy cursing.

"Is my Raein shy?" He teased.

Your face turned into a reddish hue again and glared at how he was making your heart beat at such an abnormally fast rate. "YOUR Raein?" You mocked. Suddenly you remembered how Yongguk had left you behind all alone and that fueled you. "If I didn’t remember wrongly, you left me. Since you left me, I'm pretty sure I'm not yours anymore. How could you just disappear and leave only a ing letter, return to Earth and just call me 'YOUR Raein'?! I'm not a toy where you just leave me alone when you can’t get it. Claiming me the moment you return? Am I supposed to be grateful you saved me? Are you going to leave me alone again?!"

You felt wetness on your cheeks and realised you were crying. Yongguk's face was pain stricken as he reached out to hold your arm but you shrugged it off harshly, glaring at him. You felt sympathy but that doesn’t give him the right to not even tell you he was leaving that night. That night when you thought the both of you were going to be happy together. The night when you both made love.

"I'm sorry I didn’t tell you earlier. If I told you, you would've been upset and it'll be harder for both of us.." Yongguk explained. You couldn’t help but scoff at his reason.

"And you think to wake up on an empty bed, to a note saying that my boyfriend- Scratch that, we weren’t even official- left me? You think it wouldn’t be hard for me too? I moped around every single day, hoping you would come back. But no, you didn’t. I wanted an explanation.. Is that too much to ask for?" Your bottom lip quivered.

Yongguk flinched when he heard you not acknowledging him as your boyfriend. Your tone was cold and harsh. But what you said was right. It didn’t make things any better when he didn’t tell you. "I called you. But you didn’t pick up.." He tried to argue.

"Really?You called me? And that’s supposed to miraculously solve everything?!" You raised your voice at him.

"No.. Its just-" Yongguk was cut off by an approaching doctor. "If you two lovebirds would just kindly tone down please? This is a hospital. Patients need their rest." He chided sternly.

You gave one last glare at Yongguk before storming off. Yongguk bowed and apologised to the doctor before he chased after you. After a while, he decided to not annoy you and just walk a fair distance behind you. He wanted to see you home safe and sound, that is if you're heading home. You noticed Yongguk following you and you increased your pace. Yongguk saw that you were far in front and picked up his speed too.

You started to run into crowded areas and made swift turns here and there till you got dizzy yourself. You didn’t want him to follow you. That was your mind talking. But your heart was begging him to chase you. You hated yourself for being so stubborn. You saw a traffic light nearby and wanted to cross to road so that Yongguk wouldnt see you. As you took a step across the road, a strong arm pulled you in for a bone crushing hug. Your face was directly in Yongguk's built chest as you heard a loud long horn passing by in your surroundings.

With a quick twist of your head, you saw cars whizzing by. How could you not notice that the traffic light was still red? Did you want Yongguk to chase you that much? "You scared me." Yongguk choked. "I finally came back so please don’t run away from me anymore. Please?" You didn’t dare to meet his gaze. He made you so vulnerable just by appearing in front of you. You can’t stay stubborn forever right? Without him, you could've been flung streets away on the road by that car.

Your hands slowly made its way behind his back and you returned the hug. "I'm sorry.." You apologised as you snuggled into his chest. Yongguk smoothed your hair and pulled away to see your face. The back of his fingers caressed your cheek and you couldn’t help but smile. You've missed this feeling when he was gone. He tilted your chin and leaned down, giving you the sweetest kiss ever. His lips were so soft, so addictive. A wave of disappointment passed through your body when he pulled away.

A pout formed on your cheeks and he chuckled. But his laughter slowly faded and he furrowed his eyebrows as he seemed to remember something. "Your skin... It’s back to normal." He breathed.

"Yeah. I didn’t expect my skin to heal that fast you know? Considering how horrible it was hours ago." You joked but were relieved that there were no scars on your face or body.

Yongguk didn’t laugh. Instead he placed both hands on your shoulder and whispered, "What will you do if you're an alien?"
