Seo Dae Young was on an important rescue mission in another place, like Uruk. Myeong Joo and their 3 girls were at home. It's been 2 days since he went with the Alpha team.

This morning, Myeong Joo reached the base and started working as usual. She was giving treatment to a new recruit and then Commander Yoon called her to his office urgently. Myeong Joo handed the patient to a nurse and hurriedly reached her father's office. General Yoon was signing something. 

As soon as Myeong Joo entered the room, he stood up and handed her the paper. It was a transfer order for her. Myeong Joo is being appointed to the place where Dae Young was for 7 days as a surgeon.

Myeong Joo looked at the paper and suddenly a thought crossed her mind,"Is Dae Young....?"

Before she could ask her father about that, General Yoon looked at her eyes and said, Dae Young is hurt. 2 bullets, one in his cuff and one in his back had hurt him while rescuing a hostage.

He jumped in front of the hostage to save her from a shooter. He is in an operation theater now. General Yoon sent Myeong Joo to Dae Young right then.

Myeong Joo couldn't stop her tears flowing down her cheek. She reached and saw Dae Young lying senseless in the medicube bed. She checked him and his vitals. He is stable now and needs a lot of sleep to recover. 

Day one passed like that. He regained his senses the next day and seeing Myeong Joo in front of him, he tried to sit up quickly. Again Myeong Joo couldn't stop her tears flowing down. The first thing Dae Young said was," I've hurt you again, haven't I?"

She didn't answer. She just kept crying.

"Hey…" he said scratchily, and she realized he must have noticed something changing in her expression, because his forehead was lightly creased and he was carefully watching her with sleepy, shimmering eyes.

But she didn't want to talk.

She pushed the front of her body against his and kissed him.

He must have wordlessly understood quite a lot of what she was thinking… or he was thinking the same things, because he responded eagerly, and his left hand, which had been quite tentative a moment ago, was now gathering her vest up her back, knuckles digging lightly into her spine. He hugged her like that for a long time, it felt like eternity.

Finally, Myeong Joo calmed down a bit. She asked,"How are you feeling now?"

He looked directly into her eyes,"I love you."

She looked at him after hearing his reply, "Are you feeling any pain?"

He replied again," I love you."

Myeong Joo wiped her eyes and made herself free from his hug. Dae Young asked,"Have you eaten anything?"

She didn't answer. He said,"I've already taught you how to answer. Have you eaten anything?

Finally, she replied,"I love you."

At her answer, he smiled so brightly that instantly made Myeong Joo feel a lot lighter.
