After Dae Young left for the base. The girls came to Myeong Joo and hugged her tightly. Sunshine and Jina tried to comfort Myeong Joo by saying dad would be okay. Please don't worry mom. After a while, Myeong Joo cheered up. 

The girls planned to surprise Myeong Joo. They went to bed at their routine time and decided to surprise Myeong Joo at 12 at night. Myeong Joo finished her chores and went to bed. She was reading a book and at 12 the girls came with a small cake with a candle on it. She became really happy. She hugged them tightly, kissed them, sang a birthday song and laughed a lot. That night, the girls wanted to sleep with her and Myeong Joo happily agreed.

The next day, she received a lot of gifts from everyone. They cut a cake for her. Everybody wished her cause everybody loves her. She's still the most popular female soldier of all. General Yoon couldn't take her to lunch. He promised to meet her at dinner. 

The day went normally. She was happy but secretly missed Dae Young very much. 

In the evening, General Yoon came to their home with lots of things. They spent the evening all laughing and having a great family time. 

Then he was getting ready to go back, Myeong Joo and the girls tried to stop him. But he has some work to do, so they let him go. General Yoon still celebrated his only daughter's birthday with so much love, like a little girl's birthday. He's really happy because he got three little versions of his only daughter. He happily returned to the base. And waiting for Dae Young's team to come back. He knew they had successfully completed their mission and no one got hurt. They were returning by helicopter, but he didn't tell that to Myeong Joo. He wanted to give her what she desired most; her husband.

Dae Young safely reached the base and the commander ordered them to go home and rest. He only told Dae Young to reach their home as soon as possible, so that he could surprise Myeong Joo on her birthday, which only 1 and a half hours remained.

Myeong Joo was watching TV in the living room after sending the girls to sleep. They fell asleep late yesterday, so they fell asleep early today. So Myeong Joo was enjoying some alone time.

Then the number lock at the door chimed, and she looked hopefully to see if it was her father coming again or, could it be Dae Young?

The door opened, and Dae Young entered the house. He stopped at the door, looking at her and then eliminating the distance between them in few quick strides, he met Myeong Joo in the middle of the room. Myeong Joo stood up from the sofa and started running towards him, reaching at him, she jumped a little, wrapped her arms around his neck tightly, and he swirled with her nuzzling his head in her hair, smelling her scent that he loved so, so much.

"Happy birthday, Myeong Joo. I love you." She smiles so beautifully at his words. He added,"But I'm sorry I couldn't bring any gifts for you today."

She looked at his deep meaningful eyes. "All I've ever wanted was you. All I still want is You! I don't need gifts. All I need is you. You've come to me safely, that's all I need." 

She thinks, even if he didn't bring any gifts, he would make my birthday delightful. He is so sweet. But he has also been sweet in his own way, hasn't he?

He found her lips before she could finish and felt her surprise before she willingly melted into his embrace. He closed his eyes, bringing his fingers to entwine in her hair at the base of her neck as his tongue coaxed its way into .

With the fingers of his left hand still entangled in the soft curls at her nape, he dropped his mouth to her jawline and then the spot just below her ear, planting small kisses, her familiar fragrance was still intoxicating as ever. 

Thus he gets lost in his and Myeong Joo's world.
