After several hours being unconscious, dae young finally woke up and the first thing he sees Myeong Joo and Sunshine eagerly looking at him. But the reaction was different for both of them. Sunshine smiles happily and calls 'appa', on the other hand, Myeong Joo starts crying loudly, holding Sundhine in her lap. Tears endlessly falls from her already swollen eyes. Dae young tried to get up but a sudden pain from the wound hits him hard and at the same time Myeong Joo quickly comes to him and holds his shoulder to prevent him from get up. He touches her hands, 'I'm here. I'm here.' But she kept crying and Sunshine comes to him and hugs him. He smiles at her, "Look Sunshine, mom is crying unnecessarily. I'm fine now. Come to dad." Myeong Joo takes her hand away, wipes her tears and checks dae Young's vitals. Everything seems stable, then only she feels relieved.

Then she went to let Si Jin and others know that dae young is conscious now. She went to her father and gives him the news. When her father hugged her, she cried and cried. Then she wiped off her tears and get back to work. She took care of dae young and her other patients, completed her work and went home with Sunshine. Took care of her, calls a friend, handed Sunshine to her and went back to the infirmary to stay with dae young. 

At night she stayed at up to take care of her patients, she worked double shifts that day. Dae Young sleeps well. The next day, he felt better and wanted to come back home after everybody visited him. She didn’t say anything but prepares for his discharge. 

Seo dae young noticed that Myeong Joo hasn’t talked with him since he woke up. She didn’t even cried anymore. She's holding herself from bursting out. He understands that. So he wants to go home quickly so that he can console her.
 
After coming home, she still does everything with an indifferent face. He tried to hold her hand several times, but she stayed there indifferently. She didn’t take away her hands but didn’t even hold his or say anything. This silence between them feels so suffocating to dae young. He couldn’t take it anymore. He knows Myeong Joo is in pain. He has to do something to take her pain away.

After 3/4 days when he is able to walk properly,  just when Myeong Joo finished their dinner and his medicine, after putting Sunshine to sleep, she came to change the bandages on his body.  She changed the bandage quietly and dae young was looking at her all the time with deep gaze in his eyes. But she didn’t even look at his eyes for once and kept doing her work with sadness filled her eyes. But she didn’t let any tear come to her eyes. She is enduring all the pain. After finishing the dressing, she got up and started walking. Just then dae young got up and hugs her from back. He wrapped his arms around her front and prevents her from walking. He puts his chin on her back and whispers," I'm sorry again. I always cause you so much pain. I know how hard it is for you to see me like this. But I'm fine now. I came back. I will come back to you no matter what happens. I will always come to you. You are my life. I can't die, I won't die." 

Hearing all those Myeong Joo stood there still. But when she heard him saying the last line she couldn’t control her tears anymore. "You won't die? You won't die? You almost died there! How I felt you have no idea! It felt like my world is falling apart when I saw you lying there covered in blood! Right now it is so bad for me to be stressful like this! But you made me feel like that! And you are saying, you won't die? You know how frightened Sunshine was when you were unconscious for days? You know how I've endured all the pain and did my work in this physical state, when I actually need to take rest? You don’t know. So you better not make promises about things that you can't even keep!" 

Tears welled up on dae Young's eyes and falls from the corner of his eyes. Warm tears falls on Myeong Joo's back, she felt that but that didn't help at all. She kept crying and even started trembling! Dae young unfolds his arms from her front and grabs her shoulders and turned her towards him, then hugs her tightly. 

Myeong Joo's small body was trembling even more in his arms. He places soft kisses everywhere on her head. She keeps crying her eyes out, his shirt was soaked with her tears soon. He just kept holding her like that. Then he realised what was Myeong Joo saying. He unwraps her from his hug and looks at her worriedly," Are you sick? What do you mean by this physical state?" 

She didn’t reply at his question. Then suddenly he thinks of something and all his worries chased away by that thought. "Myeong Joo, are you pregnant?" Myeong Joo still didn’t answer. But her sobbing gets louder and her grab on his body gets much stronger. He got his answer and grabs her more tightly to make her feel his heart throbbing. He cursed himself and endlessly said, "I'm sorry. I'm sorry." 

After staying in each other's arms for a long time he gently separates her from him and placed his forehead on her. "I'll do whatever you say. Please don’t be sad anymore. It'll effect our baby! I'm sorry I've put you in this. I won't make the mistake again."

Finally her sobbing comes to an end but still she is not looking at him. That means she is still underneath pain. He carefully and softly places his lips on her lips and gives her a soft kiss. She keeps her lips tightly closed. He placed two or three more kisses on her tightly closed lips. Then he understands this won't work this time. He slightly bit her lower lip to make them open. This trick worked. She opened her lips and as soon as she did that his lips totally coveted hers. After a passionate kiss, he wanted more to make her completely forget her sorrows of past few days, so he pressed his tongue on hers. 

Just when their tongues entangled with each other, all other feelings were vanished and only a feeling of being together is left! They only got immersed in that feeling!
