Flashback!
It's snowing. Myeong Joo and Dae Young were sitting on the villa's porch, watching the snowflakes falling beautifully. Wrapped in Dae Young's arms and a blanket wrapped around both of them, Myeong Joo started speaking softly, "You know, I've always felt like our love is like the snowflake. So beautiful yet so fragile!"
He looks at her to hear more, she continues speaking,"Look, the snowflakes are so beautifully floating in the air. It floates on the air so gracefully and then (stretching her hand to catch that) when it lands on my hand, "So beautiful!" But a few seconds later, "See, it melts! I can't hold it for much longer. I always felt like our love is like that. Don't you think?"
Dae Young was listening to Myeong Joo mesmerized. When she slightly turned around in his arms to look at him, he saw those big beautiful eyes which he loves so much, are now filled with love dripping out of them.
"I've always thought our love is pure. The way you loved me, I can't describe that other than the purest form of love."
She smiles so beautifully. He again speaks, "But as I listen to you, I realize you're right. It is also like a snowflake. Beautiful yet fragile. But that's why it is handled with so much care. It's fragile, that's why we cherish it so much. We want to hold it, but we can't for longer." Then he stretches his hand and a snowflake falls on his hand, "But the warmth of our body melts it. It becomes water but isn't that we want? A love that melts you from inside. Makes you feel the warmth of love and melts down the shield that you made to keep away everyone, thinking the shield is protecting you. But once pure love melts that wall, only then you can feel the power of love. Keeping the shield in between, you can never love wholeheartedly."
Looking at her eyes again, he speaks softly, "You've done that to me!" The sincerity in those words made Myeong Joo turn completely towards him, holds his face in both her hands and placed her lips on his.
The warmth he radiates is something feels so cozy, so warm, that she only wants to sink in more and more.
