Even though Sohyun did well for her college entrance exams, she did not manage to get into Seoul University. Instead, she got into the course of her choice in Sungkyunkwan University which is also one of the top universities in South Korea. Only Sujin managed to get into Seoul U. Minjun and Jieun would be joining Sohyun at SKKU.

Sohyun’s excitement in starting college was infectious and Seung Ho enjoyed listening to her chatting away about it. Having not attended university himself, he could not share any experiences with her but he helped her in any other way. They did even discuss of Seung Ho joining her as a special admittance student, but Seung Ho knew it would be at the expense of a more deserving candidate. Sohyun understood his point and promised to share her experiences; “So it would be as good as you experiencing college life without having to do any studying!” Sohyun declared. Seung Ho laughed and thought that was the indeed good.

Sohyun wanted to get a new laptop for school and they were discussing the various options. It was frustrating that they could not shop together in public, so they scoured the internet together discussing the various models. When they needed to speak to a seller to find out more information, Sohyun went with her friends to check it out and Seung Ho went with his. At night, either during their chats or drives, they would discuss their findings.

Without Sohyun’s knowledge, Seung Ho arranged for the laptop to be purchased and he gave it to her on one of their night drives, “Seonmul, for doing well in the entrance exam and for getting into SKKU.” Sohyun opened the gift, and was speechless at receiving another expensive gift. After a minute, “Oppa, I really can’t accept this gift. It’s too expensive. Why do you always give me expensive gift? It’s burdensome.”

“I really want you to have the laptop for school, cos I want it to remind you of me whenever you use it. So, when a good looking guy make a pass at you, you know I’m with you.” Seung Ho joked lightly. Sohyun pouted. Then he spoke seriously, “Sohyun, I wanted to get you a present when you passed the exams but I didn’t know what you would like. I thought the laptop would be a practical gift.”

“But oppa, you can’t buy me an expensive gift every time. I don’t feel good,” Sohyun implored. Seung Ho convinced Sohyun that it made him happy and he didn’t do it all the time, only occasionally.

“When you go to school, please recce the place. Find a spot where I can pick you up sometimes, away from prying eyes. Even better, if there is a spot where I accompany you when you are studying,” Seung Ho reminded her. Sohyun was very happy. Seung Ho-oppa is such a caring boyfriend.

Sohyun started school soon after Seung Ho began filming his melo drama. However, she kept her promised by updating him about her experiences by constantly messaging her thoughts and experiences throughout her day. As anticipated, Sohyun received a lot of attention initially when she started school from the other students due to her celebrity status. That lasted for a couple of weeks until it died down. But the attempts by guys in her school to get to know her closer continued. There was even a chaebol that shown interest in her.

Seung Ho enjoyed reading her updates whenever he is free from filming. He tried to reply to the messages whenever he can. It irked him to read about the guys fawning after her, asking her out on dates and giving her gifts. But he tried to keep his jealousy in check because she was also frustrated at his fans who tried to get to him through her.

That day, there was a stop to the filming because of a technical fault. Yoo Jung asked him if he wanted to stay to go through the script. Normally he would have agreed, however, he decided to leave to see Sohyun. Based on his memory of Sohyun’s time table, she would end her class for the day in an hour’s time. He apologized and left. He texted Sohyun that he was on the way to her campus and to call him when she was done.

On the way to the campus, Seung Ho thought about filming against Yoo Jung. They are currently at the early stage of the drama where the lead characters have not started to fall for each other. He admitted that Yoo Jung is similar to Sohyun; they have bright personality, professional and experienced in acting. He had no issue filming with her and could depend on her, hence filming has been going well. Yoo Jung had been friendly but did not show any romantic interest in him, which he was grateful. He had taken care to be friendly yet kept a polite distance with her in consideration of Sohyun. He did not want to risk another misunderstanding.

Arriving at the campus, Seung Ho searched for her department. He parked his car in the middle of a carpark, hoping it would not attract any attention. His phone rang “Oppa!
