The engine revved into life as I inserted the key within the hole. Putting my focus to the window, I shifted the gear and felt the car pick up its momentum as I put force onto the gas pedal.
The tall, glass-embedded structures came into view as I strolled the car forwards. I maneuvered the steering wheel within my grasp, pulling the car into a turn as I approached the end of a block.
I gazed into the windows, witnessing the road's current state. A cluster of cars crammed against each other; influenced by the red traffic light. IThe car’s speed dwindled down, eventually halting to a stop as we neared the tail end of another car.
“Aish! We’re going to be late,” I groaned, glancing over to the clock.

“You’re so cheesy!!” she chuckled. “You’ve been watching too much Descendants of the Sun!! Only Song Joong Ki should say those lines!!”
“Why? Isn’t my face handsome as Song Joong Ki’s?” I asked, raising a brow.
“No…” she said.
“Huh?!” I asked in disbelief.
“You’re more handsome.”
“Nice save,” I remarked.
On an impulse, I pushed my finger on one of the radio buttons. A series of loud, cheerful beats omitted from the speakers, drowning the car with its fast, catchy melody. Oh god. Twice Cheer Up was playing. The only thing I liked about that annoying song wa
