Its been a year since I relocated to Seoul South Korea, I came here alone so I had no one else to depend on. I moved here because I always wanted to experience independence and just leave the awful country I lived in for most of my childhood.

Being a 22 year old living in a foreign country alone… isn’t the easiest thing but I guess I’m sort of used to it now.

Before I moved here I had a reasonable amount of background knowledge on the country and its culture.

Wow and kpop was just the highlight of it all…I pretty much fangirled over every popular boy group there was especially Got7 and BigBang.

Im working as a make up artist at this beauty salon during the day and at night I am a waitress at a traditional Korean restaurant 2 blocks away from Big Hit entertainment…The company that BTS was from..B T freaking S.

I really admired those boys’ talent.

I studied in my home country to be a graphic designer but had no luck in getting a job as one here in Seoul, so Low income make up artist and back up waitressing was my way of making a living.
