As Seulgi and I walked beneath the stars, all she could see was the smile on my face.

As she held me in her arms, I could feel my heart beating in place.

It was the very last day of December.

Hours before another year marked our lives.

A day I’ll always remember.

I can’t believe I let the time fly.

I loved every aspect of her.

I knew what I felt for her was real.

But I wasn’t ready to move forward.

I wasn’t ready to let her in.

It was a mistake to leave things like that.

Words that needed to be said.

But remained unspoken.

So many things unsaid.

For a while, I was broken.

I couldn’t handle living with the guilt.

I didn’t know how to let go.

I had caused so much pain.

She never knew how much she meant to me.

But here I am.

With a bright smile on my face.

Knowing that she’s happy.

And knowing my pain didn’t leave a trace.
