Mir smiled as he patted Taemin's honey blonde locks. Taemin's face was flushed, his eyes bloodshot and swollen. The boy sniffed a few times more, remaining sobs still racking his small frame.

"Aigoo, you crybaby." Mir cooed with small chuckle as he kept patting Taemin's silky locks comfortingly. "Now... Have you calmed down a bit?" Mir asked softly. As Taemin gave a small nod, Mir continued. "So..." He purposely trailed down his words, giving Taemin an inquiring look.

Taemin sniffed a few times before he spoke unsurprisingly with raspy voice. That boy had been crying and wailing for almost an hour already. "Key hyung... He hates me." He started slowly and when he finished the whole story, another bout of crying was about to occur again, but Mir quickly interrupted by slunging his arm around Taemin's slumping shoulder and ruffled the boy's hair playfully, cackling by himself. "Hyung! Why are you laughing?" Taemin was offended. Like really offended.

"Woops." Mir bit his tongue, but his wide smile was still there. "You're such a pabo. Why would you think Key was serious with his words? Obviously he said that so you won't have to choose." Mir explained.

Taemin cocked his head a bit, looking utterly confused. "What do you mean?"

Mir released a long breath as he sat back on the grass, leaning on his hands. "Key know you can't choose, so he purposely say that so you will feel less guilty to choose here. To choose living in this fort." 

Taemin looked down on the waving long grass, his brows knitted as he thought over Mir's words. "Are you sure, hyung?"

"101%." The older answered confidently. "You know how he is, Taemin." He stated as the matter of fact. "About that choice... Just choose which one that will makes you happier. Okay?" Taemin nodded slowly as he slowly drifted back into his deep thought. The one that would make him happier?
