Kai was busy packing his stuff in the luggage, feeling a little bit heavy to leave his life, to start a new journey, and to end a relationship that was never actually even started.

He looked at the mirror which was accidentally infront of him.

Did she deserve me?

He sighed.

He knows it will be hard.

He knows it will be suffocating.

He knows,

that it is not possible to not see her.

A second of a self-reflecting, he asked himself,

Could he even live without her?

He took the friendship chain that he and Ha Neul has. A few seconds after staring deep into it, he packed it into his luggage.

He will try. He will. If its possible.

It was 1 hour before the flight and Kai is staring carefully at his boarding pass. He gazed at his wristwatch.

It’s now or never.

He take a book on accountancy and start reading it.

“I thought you didn’t even pass high school.”

An absolute familiar voice sat next to him.

“I didn’t pass because I didn’t learn. Be grateful that I’m using the money for good.” Kai grumbled as he saw his ultimate enemy or his beloved buddy Chanyeol, sitting next to him.

“It is time to be seriously matured, huh?” Chanyeol sighed.

“Damn those puberty.” Kai cursed.

“Yeah, I agree.” Chanyeol nodded.

After a few silent moment,

“She’s not coming?” Chanyeol asked.

“I don’t think so.” Kai sighed in disappointment.

“Being in Oxford doesn’t mean that I gave up.” Kai said, but this time in a serious manner.

“I’m taking this opportunity.” Chanyeol tries to do a high-five.

“What are you trying to high-five me!” Kai shouldered Chanyeol in annoyance.

“I love you!” Chanyeol brought Kai into his embrace and smooches Kai’s cheeks.

“What are you thinking you are doing!!” Kai grumbled.

“See? I told you that they are gay!” A voice echoed.

“Oh, you guys are here.” Kai stuttered, seeing Junmyeon and Sehun are there bidding their farewell.

“Of course we are. What do you expect? We’re friends, aren’t we?” Sehun said awkwardly, while making an eye contact with Chanyeol.

“ You guys made up?” Sehun blurted, as he saw Kai and Chanyeol sat next to each other.

“We never fought.” Kai lied, shamelessly.

Ha Neul was busy checking the stocklist of her company’s shareholders in her office.

“Aigoo, I did not expect there will be many people that will be buying our shares.” Ha Neul gasped.

“It’s the business world, honey. You must expect something big.” Miss Song smiled.

“Yes. Of course.” Ha Neul nodded agreeing to the statement.

“Want to have a walk around?” Miss Song offered.

“Okay,” Ha Neul smiled.

After half an hour observing the mall, she arrived at where Hyeri’s working at.

“Oh, you’re here?” Hyeri surprised seeing at Ha Neul’s presence.

“Yes, yes I’m here, what’s so surprising?” Ha Neul rolled her eyes.

“I thought…” Hyeri doing gestures, showing to some place.

“You thought what?” Ha Neul asked.

“You didn’t know or you do not want to know?” Hyeri trickily asked.

“Aish, this kid.” Ha Neul grumbled, while pretending to show a fist.

“Yah, yah, we are on the same age.” Hyeri muttered.

“Miss Lee.” Miss Song warned.

“Just tell me will you!” Ha Neul being frustrated with Hyeri’s game as she grab Hyeri's shoulder.

“Kai is going to America today” Hyeri spilled out the beans, while pushing Ha Neul off her shoulders.

“For what?” Ha Neul asked, with a frowning face.

“It might sounds absurd but it seems he was serious about it. Oxford he said.” Hyeri sighed.

“Oxford? Didn’t he just joke yesterday?” Ha Neul laughed, awkwardly, not believing the statement.

“I thought it was a joke too but after you left, I asked him back and he was serious about it.” Hyeri explained.

“When is his flight?” Ha Neul asked, rushingly.

“He said afternoon, around this hour,” Hyeri scratched her head.

Soon after Hyeri answered her question, Ha Neul dashed away from them and in a blink of an eye, she was nowhere to be seen.

“What an unrequited love.” Hyeri snickered.

“Miss Lee, proceed with your work.” Miss Song scoffed.

Ha Neul was biting her nails out of nervousness. She was lucky that there was a cab immediately arrived as she walked out the entrance. Could she make it was the thing that she could only think of. She knocked her head so many times, blaming herself not to believe that Kai was being serious.

Well, how could she knows? Kai was never serious. He was always the type who loves to fool around.

She did not want to lose him for the second time.

“Hey, it’s the final call.” Junmyeon shouldered Kai who was busy playing Clash Of Clans with Sehun and Chanyeol.

“Oh, its time.” Sehun pointed to the screen.

Kai exhaled a deep sigh.

“I know you can.” Chanyeol patted Kai’s back.

“ See you soon.” Sehun waved.

“It was nice to be friends with you.” Junmyeon smiled,

“Yah, Why are you saying like I’m going to die?! I am not going to die yet!” Kai angered.

“Haha, why I’m getting teary eyes.” Junmyeon blamed himself.

“Hey, chingu! Why there is tears in your eyes!” Kai slammed Junmyeon’s shoulder.

“Don’t forget me!” Sehun hugged Kai tightly.

“Like Chanyeol did.” Sehun whispered silently.

Kai was surprised.

Like Chanyeol did.

“I won’t.” Kai said, while taking his bag.

“I promised.” Kai patted Sehun’s back.

“Be well.” Chanyeol smiled.

“During my absence, take a good care of her.”

“Of course I will, she’s my girl.” Chanyeol scoffed.

“In your dreams.” Kai snickered.

“Bye!!”

They bid farewell as Kai walked pass through the boarding door.

“He’s gone.” Junmyeon sighed.

“Don’t leave me!” Sehun shouldered Junmyeon while joking with him.

As both of them were leaving, Chanyeol grab a hold of Sehun’s back.

“ I didn’t.” he muttered.

“Didn’t what?” Sehun asked,

“I didn’t forget you guys.” Chanyeol explained.

“I-I didn’t said you did.” Sehun stammered.

“I heard you.”

Like Chanyeol did.

“I’m sorry,” Chanyeol apologised.

Junmyeon who was very far in front came back towards them.

“Yah, Oh Sehun! Why did you leave me alone!” Junmyeon punched Sehun’s back jokingly.

“ Sorry, Chanyeol was spitting nonsense I couldn’t understand!” Sehun dragged Junmyeon away, leaving Chanyeol alone.

“Life is hard, of course.” Chanyeol sighed.

He stared deep at the board that shows the departure and arrival of the planes silently. Out of sudden, he could heard footsteps dashing closer and closer.

“Where.. is.. he?”

“H-Ha Neul..” Chanyeol stuttering.

“J-Jong In..” Ha Neul still panting.

“He already board the plane.” Chanyeol told her regretfully.

“Already?” Ha Neul sighed, and dropped on the floor.

“Ha Neul.” Chanyeol looked down on the floor, could not do anything.

“He’s such a bad person.” Ha Neul blurted.

“I thought he lied,” Ha Neul continued.

“And he leave me, as if he was dumping me.” Ha Neul getting teary.

“I-I didn’t get a chance to obtain my feelings back and he left.” Ha Neul finally burst into tears.

Seeing Ha Neul crying continuously making Chanyeol a bit confused.

What is he feeling right now?

Happy? Sad? Angry? Innocent? Or... guilty?
