LUCYLucy woke up early. It was the weekend and Appa didnt wake her up. Which meant he was asleep. She crawled out of bed, leaving her warm bed and walking out the door. She walked to the door across from hers where she found her appa sleeping. She crawled into his bed, looking over his face seeing her appa was tired. She leaned down and kiss his forehead, running her fingers through his hair before laying down next to him. Yunho smiled, half awake to know that his sweet daughter had came to lay with him but not without leaveing a kiss. He turned over to hug his daughter, and she giggled to the fact that appa was awake enough to notice her.
"Appa! Are you still sleepy?" She asked. Yunho smiled, opened one eye to look at his little girl.
"Yes, appa is still sleepy!" He expressed.
"I'm sleepy too!" She joked, pretending to yawn as she snuggled closer to his embraced. Yunho enjoyed these moments he had with her. He wrapped his arms around her and laid in the bed with her as they slept just a little longer that weekend.
So-eun woke up late, finding the day was trying to pass her by, but she didnt mind. She was a little depressed since even on a night she thought she could run from her feelings, they were there, making her more miserable. She tried to shake off her anger for the jerk who made her feel this way. Then a thought came to the man who was out on the balcony. How he was talking on the phone to his daughter. She sighed dreamingly at thinking of the man. He was good looking and charming. She didnt get his name but the idea of the man was enough to make her stomach flutter with butterflies. She knew she would never run into the guy again but he would be a guy she could idolize to be a dream man. A family man! Yes he seemed just perfect, an ideal father for her children if she were to marry and have kids. The idea spun in her head till she realized what her next project for work would be. The ideal man! She got up out of bed, looking for her phone to call Yoon-yong. She found it by her purse, picking it up and started dialing. Her friend answered.
"Unnie, I finally have an idea to pitch at work. The Ideal Man!" She expressed excitedly to her friend.
"We interview random woman of different ages to tell what they think The Ideal Man should be like, from his characteristics, his personality, etc. Showing that everyone has that ideal man they think is out there. What do you think?" Yoon-yong thought about it, weighting the pros and cons. It seemed like a good article for the magazine they worked for.
"That doesnt sound so bad. You will have to pitch it to bosue tomorrow!" Yoon-yong stated. Oh how So-eun hated having to pitch ideas. Yes it was a great job boost if it was approved but her bosue knew how to take an idea and completely ruin it. But she knew she really needed a distraction from her heartbreak so she decided that she would work hard on the idea.
"Your right, I should pitch it to her tomorrow. In fact I'm gonna go ahead and start writing up something to help push it along." She explained with ethusiasium. So-eun was filling pumped up for this project.
"That's the spirit!" Yoon cheered from the other end of the phone.
"Well while your on the phone, what would you say is the ideal type guy?" Yoon was surprised with her sudden question.
"Eh??? I dont know!" So-eun sighed in annoince.
"Seriously? There isnt a type that you go for. For example when you were like, what maybe 13, you didnt imagine the perfect man?" Yoon-yong stopped to think about the question. So-eun smiled, knowing her friend was actually thinking about her answer.
"Well I guess you could say back then I imagined the perfect guy to be like Seo Taji!" Stunned by her friends answer, So-eun replied.
"Really? I took you for more of a G.O.D. fan!" So-eun stated.Yoon gasped excitedly.
"OMG, those boys were so hot. Oh and H.O.T. were so adorable back then. Kim Jong Kook was so damn fine, but so much hotter now that he is all beefed up." Yoon kept talking about the old boyband crushes from the 90's. So-Eun smiled thinking back on the simpler times. Yes, those days were fun.
"What about you Eun? What's your ideal man like?" Yoon asked throwing So-eun off for a moment. She began to think about what she considered to be the Ideal man. As she tried to think about this Ideal man, a image of the man from the club started to appear. Remembering him talking to his daughter on the phone, telling her a bedtime story even though he was out to have fun, still keeping her as his number one. That was a perfect family man. The man you bring home to meet your parents, the man you would marry.
"Well?" Yoon was tired of the silence. So-eun shook off those thoughts, not really wanting to share she blurted out an answer.
"Ah... has to love lititure!" So-eun quickly face palmed herself after she spoke.
"Has to love lititure? That can't be for real?" Yoon didnt believe her for a second. So-eun was about to change her answer to something more realistic but Yoon-yong interupted her.
"Oh, Eun I will have to call you later. My cousin is here and we are suppose to go visit our grandparents. Talk to you tomorrow!" She quickly hung up after saying goodbye, feeling relieved that she didnt have to force another fake answer out. So-eun trailed back into her thoughts of the man she met last night when she realized, she didnt even know his name. She had a wonderful conversation with the man, already knew he was a father, having a little girl, could dance and knew the tale of sleeping beauty like the back of his hand. All those things she knew but she didnt know his name. Another face palm to feel her regret for not asking for his name. Letting her ex get in the way by stirring her emotions up was stupid but she realized that life isnt perfect and wont work out like you would want it too. She sighed going back to her project and how she would pitch the idea to her boss.
