It was early in the morning, the alarm clock blared out the annoying sound like every morning but this time it was set early. He got up out of bed so he could get ready. He headed to the small room next to his where he found his blonde little baby girl who had grown up to be 4 years old. Even though she wasnt old enough for school, she had headstart school she attendend. Yunho had worked hard to get her into this school which cost more then he would have liked to have spend but it was worth it for his little Lucy. He kissed her forehead before waking her up to get ready. She was not one to like being woken up to but with Appa cooing her by calling her his little sleeping beauty she would rise as if she was awaken by a kiss. He smiled at her little charms as he hurried her to wash her face and brush her teeth. He helped her change clothes and brush her hair. She also would turn to help him brush his at times till he fix it the way he wanted it. Yunho changed his clothes and brushed his teeth so he could make her breakfast. She was trying to pour cereal into a bowl but spilt most of it.

"Lucy, what are you doing?" He asked as he tried to clean up the mess.

"Making breakfast!" She chimmed as she smiled at her appa.

"I can see that. You did a good job, but I think your trying to fatten me up with all this cereal. How about I pour some of it in your bowl?" She nodded her head as she grabbed her spoon, ready to take her first bite. Yunho loved how she was so caring and sweet every morning. But she had some rough times too when he first started waking her up early. She would fight him to go to sleep early and would be cranky in the morning, but once he got her on a good sleeping schedule, she was able to wake up in the mornings like she was suppose to. After breakfast, Yunho gathered the dishes, washing out the milk and left over cereal. Lucy was watching the morning cartoons, singing along with the characters. Yunho would sometimes sing along with them or hum the song with her. Once he had cleaned the dishes, and gathered her things for school he called for her by the door. She turned off the tv and ran to her appa who held her coat out for her. Helping her slip her arms in and zip up, they were ready to leave. Leaving their appartment, they walked along the street, heading to the school. People would look at the two of them, some of them in awe struck since they never seen a blonde girl with a full korean man and some would shake their head in discuss. Yunho knew what they were thinking. He had heard it all before. Lucy was indeed a waegukin (foreginer) but to him, she was his daughter. He didnt let them bring down what he had with this beautiful girl. Lucy never noticed what was going on, being the subject of the people around them. She only smiled as she skipped down the sidewalk while holding her appa's hand.

They reached the school, seeing all the little kids Lucy's age walking in. One of the teachers noticed Lucy right away. She knew her situation about her mother passing away and Yunho adopted her when she had no one left. She thought it was sweet but she once thought the same as everyone who would whisper under their breath about her being a waegukin. When Lucy saw her, she came running up to her, arms wide open and a huge smile on her face. Yunho was happy that Lucy had grown close to her teacher, since school was hard on her since most of the students didnt want to hang with her. But there was a few students that befriended her which made Yunho happy. Lucy turned to her Appa and smiled.

"What? No hug or kiss bye?" Yunho pouted to his baby girl. She ran back to him and jumped into his arms. They gave each other a big hug and she kissed him on the cheek. He smiled and kissed her forehead.

"That's my girl! Now be good and play well with the other kids. Ok?" She smiled at her appa.

"Yes appa!" He patted her on the head and waved by to her. She left with the teacher and other students into the school. Yunho sighed as he always felt so alone while she was in school but he knew she would have to go to school alot. So he would have to get to use to her being away for a bit. He started down the road to head to work. He made sure that his job was near her school. He worked in a small grocery store, mostly stocking and cleaning the store. He worked hard so he could pay for Lucy's school as well as paying for them to live in their appartment and eat. He sometimes wished that he could have finished school and got a better paying job before Lucy was left to him, but life doesnt always work out that way. He learned to deal with what he got and make it work and it was working. His boss didnt like the idea of him taking care of a waegukin but Yunho never let what his boss said about his daughter affect him. He loved Lucy and he wouldnt have changed his decision on taking her in.
