Latte full of tears
LUCYWorking on a project for work, a young woman named Kim So-eun was searching on the computer for a new subject to gather information for her boss. Her boss wrote articles in the paper about current events as well as things most people would just gossip about. Lately So-eun wasnt having luck finding anything of intrest to gather. It seemed she hit a hard block in her career for the moment. With work stressing her out, she had nothing to do but leave for a break. Her friend Choi Yoon-yong saw that So-eun was leaving for her break and ran after.
"Hey! So-Eun!" She callled out to her co-worker. So-Eun turned to find Yoon-yong running after.
"What's up?" She asked. Yoon-yong smiled.
"Are you leaving for lunch?" So-eun nodded.
"Good, let me join you!" Yoon-yong invited herself to tag along which So-eun didnt mind. They left work to eat at a little cafe. Yoon-yong was enjoying her Caremel Latte, taking sips of it as she looked out the window and watch the people walk by. When she turned to her friend she noticed that So-eun didnt even touch her french vanilla capaccino. Something must have been wrong.
"So-eun, is something wrong?" She asked. So-eun had been starring off into space finally looked up at her friend.
"Unnie!" She whimpered. She had lost all energy to work after having the biggest breakup. Her boyfriend had been cheating on her for months. He was seeing another woman behind her back and when she thought it was going so well she finds out that he proposed to his other woman. Well she had actually stumbled upon the moment when he proposed to her. So-eun was depressed as can be. Yoon-yong could see how upset she was. So-eun then let a tear fall from her eyes. She been wanting to cry for so long. She explained everything to Yoon-yong, between sobs and cries, she spilled her heart out about the whole problem. She had been in a deep struggle with this by herself.
"Oh I can't believe he had the nerve. If I ever see him I swear I will rip him a new one." Yoon-yong threathen, she was pissed but So-eun didnt care. She was still hurting. Yoon-yong noticed that So-eun didnt care about the threat, she had brushed it off.
"I'm sorry So-eun. Look if you want, we can go out. You need some girl time. How about you, me and a few girls have girls night? Sound good?" Yoon asked. So-eun barely smiled at her unnie. It sounded fun, and it would help distract her from the pain she was feeling.
"Thats fine. We should do that." She agreed. Yoon smiled.
"Awesome. This weekend they just opened a new club down the road. It would be a nice place to go out. Besides, I hear Doona got the hook up for vip!" Yoon continued about their plans for the weekend So-Eun continued drinking her Latte, trying to forget the pain and keeping herself strong to get through her heartbreak.
