Chapter Seventeen
Promise

Krystal

Sulli came within 15 minutes after the phonecall, which is pretty quick considering she lives slightly far from Jongin. She barged into the house to see Chanyeol, Sehun and Jongin playing their ps3. I stood up to greet her but she completely ignored me and turned the tv off straight away.

“Oh. You’re here.” Chanyeol murmured.

“Yeah I am.” Sulli said.

“Everyone sit on this couch.” She ordered.

“We’re already sitting on the couch…” Sehun frowned.

“Krystal.” Sulli said and pointed towards the couch.

There was absolutely no space for me to fit in, so I awkwardly stood next to the edge then Sulli pushed me in between Chanyeol and Sehun and I had to squeeze in.

“Now.” She murmured.

“Someone explain why I was not invited to this slumber party.” Sulli said.

“It was never a slumber party Sul.” Jongin quietly clarified.

“Yeah.” Chanyeol agreed with a bright smile.

“Then explain to me what happened and why I wasn’t here Jongin.” Sulli confronted, raising her eyebrows.

“Long story short Sehun and Chanyeol came over then I had to go out and I assumed they would be gone but they weren’t and I had gone to Krystal’s place after my emergency and she was having a bad time at her dad’s party so she came home with me and Sehun and Chanyeol were still there so everyone slept over.” Jongin explained quickly.

“Nothing happened. Can you please stop with your deadly look and treatment?” Sehun frowned.

“Fine.” Sulli gave in and sighed.

“Anything else happen?” Sulli asked, looking at me.

“Nope.” I replied.

After about an hour or so I got changed into the clothes Sulli brang and we were in her car ready to go ‘shopping’. I bid farewell to the rest, Jongin included and we drove off to the end of the street, until she stopped her car.

“Please tell me something exciting happened last night. I smell something.” Sulli said, pulling the brake then looking directly at me.

I sighed. I decided to tell her, to be honest I wanted to tell somebody.

“Something exciting did happen last night.”

Sulli squealed and jumped up and down from her seat. She then gestured me to continue talking.

“I was having a bad day, Jong—Kai was having a bad day. We all fell asleep, me in his room and the rest in the living room. I woke up sometime at midnight and Kai came in, we talked a little then he….. Then he---- kissed me.” I explained.

Sulli’s face was filled with shock and excitement, I knew I was about to be poured with questionnaires that I must answer.

“THEN WHAT HAPPENED? WHAT WAS HIS LIPS LIKE? OMG IM SO HAPPY I KNEW THIS DAY WOULD HAPPEN” Sulli screamed.

I laughed, seeing how excited she was. It was great how she could express it, I was feeling just as excited as her but I just couldn’t show it. Mainly because I always hide my feelings.

“Well… Then we slept together.” I said.

“WHAT? SLEPT AS IN ?” She yelled.

“NO!” I yelled loudly. “Slept as in just innocent sleeping, nothing else.”

“OMG THEN WHAT HAPPENED?” Sulli asked.

“Then we woke up together today and made the boys pancakes.” I said, finally finishing my story.

“Have you two DTRed?”

“What’s DTR?”

“Defining The Relationship Krystal!! Are you guys an item now?” She asked.

“Not really.”

“So it was just a normal hookup?”

“I don’t know.”

“What do you mean you don’t know.” Sulli frowned.

“I mean… I think I have feelings for him, but I don’t know if he feels the same way. Because he hasn’t talked about ‘DTR’ or anything about our latest skinship. It might have just been a ‘caught in the moment’ thing you know…” I said, with a loud sigh.

“So if he wanted you to be his girlfriend, would you say yes?”

“Yeah.” I replied extremely quietly, but Sulli with her bright ears, heard me.

She let out a squeal and started her car again.

“You two need to DTR!! BUT you have to make him do it Krystal! He has to approach you first okay? Don’t approach to him.” She said.

I nodded.

The rest of Sunday went by extremely quickly and I was already in my ancient studies class, daydreaming.

“Krystal.” The teacher called and I immediately perched up.

“Yes?” I responded.

“Can you do me a favour and give this form to Mrs Lee, she’s in room 32.” She said.

“Yes sure.” I said, taking the piece of paper from my teacher.

I needed that walk outside the fresh air, and room 32 was quite distanced from where I was, which meant more time to myself.

During my walk I thought about how I was going to approach Suho, because I hadn’t yet. I knew he was dying to talk to me because he left about 50 text messages yesterday. I just didn’t know what to say to him and I didn’t know how he felt about what he saw.
