Coming Home
A Grand AdventureYunho's POV
I heaved a heavy sigh in relief once I stepped foot into my house and stretched my aching joints. It was a long and tortuous day at work that had me staying at the office after hours, much, much later then I had wanted. It was already past midnight when I came home and I was sure that my wife was already fast asleep, dreaming of candies and sweets.
I slipped off my shoes and hung my suit jacket on the coat hanger before padding my way into the impeccably clean living room (Kept up by Sunhee. The girl couldn't cook but she was one hell of a neat freak) and down the hallway, quietly opening my bedroom door and carefully walking in. Just as I had suspected, Sunhee was tucked in warmly beneath the sheets and blanket, Bambi, our 6 year old cat, cuddle comfortably in her arms. Not waiting much longer, I sauntered over to the king sized bed and cautiously sat down beside my wife, drinking up her serene appearance to see if there were any simple changes since I last saw her.
I reached a hand out, wanting to push her messy, long hair out of her face since it was bothering me but before I could make a single movement, the girl spoke.
“You're home.” I smiled softly at the sound of her sleep laced voice and when the furball in her arms stretched as a greeting. “You're really late today.” Sunhee was always a light sleeper, unlike myself. The girl woke up to the softest of noises and smallest of movements. It was only when she was extremely tired that the outside world didn't exist to her.
“Yeah, sorry for keeping you waiting.” I apologized softly while carefully moving to lie down beside her as to not squish the cat or make too much movement to disturbed Sunhee. You've become so soft Jung Yunho. “How are you?” I asked, slipping my hand under the covers and beneath ~~~'s shirt to caress her barely noticeable, swollen tummy. It
