Baekhyun’s POV

I open my eyes and see yeonnie is sleeping innocently in my embrace. I keep staring at her face while caressing her hair gently. I kiss her forehead lovingly. I often did this to jiyeon before this. I will hug her to sleep every night, like I did to yeonnie last night, and kiss her every morning, like I did just now. My memories with jiyeon are too strong as everything I did would remind me of her. But still, I feel so happy with yeonnie by my side. I’m so grateful to have her.

I pull my arms slowly and get up from the bed. I look at yeonnie sleeping face for the last time before I walk out to get some drinks in the kitchen. But then, I hesitate for a while when I see my friends are all in the kitchen, eating cereal and when I appear, each of them eyeing me with a very meaningful gaze.

“What?” I asked.

“You took this opportunity well when we’re not at home.” Kai said naughtily.

“Ah you guys went into my room?” I asked, realized they might have seen me and yeonnie.

“Yeah I burst into your room to surprise you and wake you up, but then I was the one who got surprised instead.” Sehun said while laughing.

“We didn’t do anything, trust me. Just sleep, not more than that.” I explained.

“It’s okay baek. We trust you.” Luhan said.

“Good morning guys…” A hoarse girl’s voice greet us.

I look at the kitchen’s entrance and saw yeonnie is standing there with her sleepy face. Her messy hair somehow distract me. I make my way towards her and fix her hair with my hands. I can see she blushed and my friends are pretending not to see us. I smile and I pat her head to make her feel comfortable.

Jiyeon’s POV

“Yeonnie, get dressed now because I’m going to take you out. I’ll wait for you at my car okay.”

I quickly get ready right after I received the text message from baekhyun. Every day after his class, baekhyun would bring me out. Seems like today he ended class early than usual. After getting ready, I found sungmin all over the house but he’s nowhere in the house. Maybe he went out for a while and forget to tell me. It’s okay he will know that I’m out with baekhyun.

I get into the car and see baekhyun is smiling sweetly at me. Without saying anything, he then drives away, leaving the apartment area. His face looks a bit different today, like he’s hiding something from me.

“Baek, we are you taking me?”

“It’s a surprise. You will know after we arrive later.”

“Is it a special place? I’m so excited!”

“Yes. It is a very special place.”

“I’m so curious.”

Baekhyun is smiling suspiciously. It somehow makes me feel strange. But I don’t feel good. Why did I feel like something bad is approaching? My heart is pounding, but maybe it is just my feeling. I shouldn’t be pessimistic like this. But then when I look at the outside, it seems so familiar. This road really look familiar. And when baekhyun finally stops his car, I realized, we are in front of my house, my old house… the house that keep the last memories of me and baekhyun. This house that witnessed our tragic love story…

But why did he brings me here? I can’t understand… I froze on my seat. Suddenly baekhyun opens the car door for me and help me to get off the car. I try to remain calm although I am about to burst in the inside. I feel so weak inside right now. Baekhyun take my hand and led me towards the house door.

“Why did your hand is so cold yeonnie?”

“Nothing… maybe because cold air conditioner in your car.”

“Okay then… so, aren’t you suppose to ask me what is this place?”

“Uh? Oh yeah right what is this place? Why did you bring me here? Is this your house too?”

“Yes… this is my house, with jiyeon.”

“So this is the special place you said.”

“Yeah right. Because this house keeps all the bitter and sweet memories of me and jiyeon. Jiyeon died here, and I wish I can die here as well and then I can get together with jiyeon again, like before…”

“Don’t say that baek… jiyeon… I bet she wants you to live happily here. If you keep thinking of her, that must be hard for her as well.”

“I know… I know she wants me to be happy. But I will never forget her. Although now I have you, but jiyeon will always be in my heart. You’ve made me happy again, I know jiyeon will agree if I choose you to replace her. But I will
