Baekhyun’s POV

I open my eyes slowly and the light is already shining brightly outside. Jiyeon is no longer beside me. She woke up early. It has been a week we live together and everything worked smoothly. I get up from the bed and walk outside, still with my boxer and shirt. I heard something in the kitchen. I sneak a peek into the kitchen and I saw jiyeon is doing something in there. Is she cooking breakfast? She is wearing a green baby shirt and a short. My darling looks so stunning although she only dressed up simply like that. Plus, I never saw she wears shorts, her legs really are beautiful.

I walk sneakily behind her and give her a back hug. She seems surprised because she flustered for a while. But quickly smile when she realized it’s me. I hug her affectionately. I don’t feel like letting her go until she finally slaps my arms.

“I’m trying to cook something here and you don’t look like you will let me go. Sorry for slapping your arm. Is it hurt?”

She directly apologize after slapping my hand. I shook my head, telling her it doesn’t hurt. I give her a smile but she replied me by sticking out her tongue. She’s so cute… I can’t imagine living without her after this. I don’t wanna lose her. I stop smiling when thinking about losing her. Why must you jiyeon…

“Hey why you look at me like that? Daydreaming or what? I’ve called chanyeol and others to come and lunch with us. I cook something special today. It is bibimbap and I make tteokpokki as a snack.”

“Oh really? This must be so delicious. What can I help?”

“No it’s okay. You better go and take your bath now. You’re smelly.”

“No matter how smelly I am, you still love me right? You better answer yes.”

“Yes baekhyun… whatever it is you’re always my perfect boyfriend.”

“Thanks I love you!”

I give her a peck on her cheek before I run into the room to take my bath.

I open jiyeon’s closet to find clothes for me to wear. I took out a simple red shirt with a grey sweatpants. Okay, this must be comfortable. I put on the clothes and quickly walk to the kitchen to check on jiyeon. When she saw me, she smiles prettily.

“My darling is so pretty.”

“Stop being cheesy baek. Now you have to help me.”

“What?”

“Help me to call chanyeol and those three kids. I forgot to call them.”

I look at jiyeon strangely. She acts like nothing happens and just proceed with her cooking. Is she really forgot or she’s pretending to forget. Just now she told me she had called them to come over during lunch, and now she asked me to call them because she said she forgot to call them.

“Baek, you hear me or not?”

“Yes… but jiyeon, you just told me you’ve called them before.”

“Oh really? Sorry… my bad.”

“It’s okay. Now let me help you stirring the soup.”

I decide to ignore the confusion. Maybe she was just thinking too much and forgot small things.

Author’s POV

It is the lunch time and chanyeol arrived together with sehun, Luhan and kai. They are all cheering happily when they saw so many delicious food served on the table. Baekhyun is busy serving the drinks for everyone while jiyeon is distributing the dishes and utensils. She then sits next to baekhyun. Chanyeol can’t stop smiling because finally he can see jiyeon happy for the first time after she knows about the brain injury.

“So how’s your life here baek? Is it fun?” chanyeol asked.

“Of course! I can eat delicious food every day.” Baekhyun replied excitedly.

“Last night, he played me a song with his keyboard, but it sounds so awful.” Jiyeon suddenly said.

“Impossible! Baekhyun is the best keyboard player.” Kai suddenly said.

“Hehe last night maybe I was too sleepy it really came out awful.” Baekhyun said shyly.
