Baekhyun’s POV

I walk into the changing room where I saw sehun, kai and Luhan are all in there. I greet the morning and quickly change into my uniform.

“Hey baek, usually you’re earlier than us. Why not today?” Kai asked.

“Sometimes there’s something I can’t tell you guys. Hehe.” I teased them.

“Yah you think we can’t guess? I can tell you didn’t sleep at home last night right? That’s why. Hehe.” Sehun said while looking at me proudly.

“Where were you last night baek? You’re being so wild now.” Kai teased me back.

“Why do you care anyway?” I said and then stick out my tongue.

“Don’t tell me you slept at jiyeon’s last night?” Luhan suddenly said.

“I need to go and prepare the kitchen. See you guys then.” I said trying to avoid luhan’s question.

Even though he is the least talkative among us, Luhan is so smart. Just like his brother, chanyeol. Talk about chanyeol, I saw him sitting at one of the table when I was walking into the kitchen. Why did he come so early in the morning? To drop Luhan? I don’t know. Maybe I should go meet him. I walk towards chanyeol and sit in front of him.

“Oh good morning baekhyun.” Chanyeol said while smiling.

“Hye hyung. You came so early. It must be so boring at home right?” I asked concern.

“Yeah. But baekhyun, before you care about others, care about yourself first. You look so tired and your eye bag is showing. Did you work overtime lately?” He asked me while searching for something in his bag.

“I don’t think so. Maybe it’s just because I think too much lately. I’ve adapted with this work so I rarely feel tired about work.” I replied him.

“Take this. It can reduce those eye bags so you will look fresh, not as tired as this.” Chanyeol said while handing me something, looks like a cream.

“Thanks. I need to go, do you need something to drink? Any coffee?” I asked him before I go.

“Sure. One caramel macchiato please.” He said.

I nod. Caramel macchiato… jiyeon loves to order that coffee before. But not anymore. I walk away after taking order from chanyeol. That guy is so perfect. With a tall perfect figures, perfect features, perfect manners, perfect educational background and perfect life. I wish I have a life like that, but I’m not that perfect, I’m actually far away from that. But I promised to myself, I’ll strive for that perfect life. Started from working, and with the money I gain, I’ll further my study and get that perfect life too. Suddenly, jiyeon’s image came into my mind, her perfectly perfect smile. I smile upon remembering her smile. I feel like my day is going well today with a boost up from the image of jiyeon’s smile.

Chanyeol’s POV

I was in the café for the whole day today. I really don’t know what should I do. My job will only start next week. What I did today in the café was just watching and observing the kids do their work. I think I’ve drank four cups of caramel macchiato and ate three slices of cakes. But it’s fun though, seeing these kids are working hard, full of determination. I think I should treat them for being so hardworking. I called sehun over when I saw he passed by me.

“Sehun, come here for a while.” I said.

“Yes hyung can I help you? You need anything else?” He asked me.

“No. Can you close this café in evening today? I think I wanna treat you guys a dinner today. I’ll bring you guys to a Japanese restaurant. Can?” I asked him and I can see joys in his expression.

“Of course! I’ll tell the other now.” Sehun said while running towards his friends.

It is so good to see they are all happy. I’ve known them since they are young kids. They have been together since they are in their first year.
