Baekhyun’s POV

I can’t stop thinking about that girl, yeonnie… I can’t handle my feelings because she looks so much like jiyeon. But… jiyeon is dead. Of course that girl is yeonnie, not jiyeon. What should I do? Her every moves remind me of jiyeon. I keep thinking about the girl and ignore my friends. They are all looking at me worriedly, but I really have no intention to say anything right now. I know I shouldn’t make them worried like this, but I hope they can understand me. I still haven’t fully recovered from the depression of losing jiyeon. Suddenly Luhan comes and sit next to me.

“Baek, hyung has told us about the girl. I know it must be hard, I understand you. But are you okay? It is worrisome to see you keep daydreaming like this.”

“I’m okay Luhan. It is just because, she looks really similar to jiyeon, like she is actually jiyeon. Except for her short hair.”

“Maybe she only got jiyeon’s looks. But hey! You still can make friend with her. She is our neighbor anyway. That isn’t wrong.”

“Can I?”

“Of course! Let’s go!”

Luhan pulls me outside and stop in front of our neighbor’s door. I look at him, he then nods excitedly. I press the bell two times, and within a minute, the door got opened from inside, reveals the girl that makes me fluttered the whole day. I saw luhan’s eyes widen, of course because she looks so much like jiyeon. I smile awkwardly.

Author’s POV

Jiyeon is resting in the apartment while sungmin is out to get some foods for dinner. Suddenly the bell rings. Jiyeon walked towards the door and quickly open it, just to see baekhyun is standing in front of her while staring at her. Luhan is standing next to baekhyun with a surprised face. Jiyeon’s face is as surprised as Luhan. She actually feels like hugging them all right now because she really miss them.

“Hye.” Baekhyun said and smiled awkwardly.

“Hye.” Jiyeon replied.

“Can we come in?” Luhan finally talked.

“Of course.” Jiyeon said.

Baekhyun and Luhan step into the house, following jiyeon behind. Jiyeon asks them to sit in the living room and serve some drinks for them. She then sits together with them but everyone is silent, don’t know what to say. Luhan then finished his drink quickly before he stands up.

“I just remember I got some works to do. See you later yeonnie. Bye baekhyun.”

Luhan said before he finally walks away, leaving baekhyun and jiyeon in the house. Jiyeon can’t stand looking at baekhyun depressed and sorrowful eyes. She looks away to avoid baekhyun’s eyes. And finally, baekhyun talks.

“Yeonnie, I’m sorry if it’s too much but can I ask you a favor?”

“Sure what can I help you?”

“Can I hug you for a while?

Jiyeon hesitated at her place. She didn’t expect baekhyun to say that. She can see baekhyun’s hopeful face. Honestly, she herself wants to be in baekhyun’s embrace like before, but she doesn’t have the courage, because she afraid that she will suddenly cry. But looking at baekhyun’s intensity, jiyeon then nods. She gets up from the couch and makes her way towards baekhyun. Baekhyun then pulls jiyeon into his embrace and hugs him lovingly.

Baekhyun kiss jiyeon’s hair because he just can’t resist his feelings. He feels like hugging the real jiyeon, it feels like yeonnie is jiyeon. Baekhyun just can’t control his feeling any longer when he finally move his face closer to jiyeon’s and kiss her deeply. Same goes to jiyeon, she miss baekhyun too much making her can’t avoid but to reply his kiss. They remain like that for a few more minutes until suddenly someone opens the door.

It is sungmin, just came back from buying the dinner. He hesitated in front of the door when he saw baekhyun and jiyeon is kissing deeply but stop right away when they saw him. Sungmin is still frozen at the door while jiyeon and baekhyun had broken the kiss and hug. Their eyes met. Baekhyun finally smile bitterly at jiyeon.

“Ah hyung, come eat with us. I bought extra food.” Sungmin said.

“No thanks sungmin. But I have to go now. Enjoy your dinner.” Baekhyun said.
