Sulli

Minhyuk and I walked in the front doors of S.M. taking the elevator to the dance room. EXO was practicing and I wanted to see what new things they had in store before I broke the news to them. Sigh, how was I going to tell them?

I opened the door slowly peeking my head in. They were on a break at the minute chatting with one another until Xiumin spotted me. “Sulli!” he yelled causing everyone to look towards the door. I opened the door all of the way and walked in with Minhyuk following behind me.

“Minhyuk!” Chanyeol screamed running to Minhyuk. Chanyeol embraced him tightly while everyone started to chuckle. I looked at the group and noticed that someone was missing.

“Where’s Baekhyun?” I asked placing my bag on the floor against the wall.

“Bathroom,” Tao said leaning on Kris. They all looked so worn out, but you could tell they were staying strong for their fans.

I sat on the stool of the piano in the corner of the room. “Ahhh,” I said sliding my fingers overtop of the keys lightly.

My attention of the piano was soon pulled away from as I felt to hands cup my face pulling me up to eye level. Without warning, Baekhyun kissed me deep and passionately in front of all of his friends. Once he pulled away, I felt his embrace around me strong and tight.

“Don’t ever leave me again,” he whispered into my ear. “That was the worst week of my life.”

My smile fell at his words as I hugged him back. I couldn’t promise him that.

Minhyuk

When I walked in, I was greeted with a loving hug from Chanyeol. I must admit that I like him… a lot. I’m not sure if the feeling is mutual, but I’m not going to say anything. It’s better to stay friends than to make things awkward.

Chanyeol released his tight grip and rubbed his neck. “I’m glad you’re back!” he said with his wide smile. His cute as smile.

I smiled back. “I’m glad I’m back too!” I said with enthusiasm. I really was glad; I loved my job. I joined EXO as a whole in the chat circle and talked to them noticing Baekhyun wasn’t there.

“Where’s Baekhyun?” Sulli asked. She must have read my mind… or was concerned about her boyfriend… probably the second one...

“Bathroom,” Tao replied leaning on Kris. He looked super tired.

I looked over to Sulli seeing her play with the piano. Someone then came up to her pulling her in for a kiss. I couldn’t help myself from giggling at the cute couple. Whether she wants to admit it or not, they are dating for real.

Releasing her from their sweet kiss, he hugged her tightly not wanting to let go. I saw her smile fade as he whispered something into her ear. This is going to be really hard on her.

Sulli

I poked at my food with a chopstick not hungry. I was going to break the news to EXO forcing me to lose my appetite. Baekhyun sat next to me on my left while Kris sat on my right at the dinner table in EXO’s dorm. Sorry D.O. for not eating your lovely cooking; I just couldn’t eat.

“Hey Sulli,” Luhan said directly across from me. I looked up to the deer eyed boy staring at me. “Are you okay?”

Everyone looked to me as he asked me the question. They all must have noticed me not eating. I guess I’ll just tell them…

“No,” I said sitting my chopsticks down. Everyone had concerned eyes.

“What’s wrong?” Kris asked placing a hand on my shoulder. I smiled slightly at his way of comforting me. Even if he could be cold at times, he was really sweet.

I let out a heavy sigh trying to control my breathing. At any time now I could break into tears. “Minhyuk and I won’t be seeing you guys anymore.” I placed my head down looking at my hands. I heard gasps all around me.

“Waeyo?” Sehun asked.

Tears threatened at the brim of my eyes as I looked to meet his gaze. “We’re still working for S.M. but we’ll be working at home. We’re going to university as that was our original plan for moving here.”

“Why can’t we see you?” Baekhyun asked lost starring into my eyes. “You’ll just be gone during the day, home at night.”

I twirled a piece of hair around my finger unable to talk. “You guys are going to China for promotions over a two month period span,” Minhyuk said looking just as sad as I was.

“How come no one told us about this?” Suho asked taking role of the leader. As leader, he should know everything, especially this.

“Promotions were sprung on the company last minute as most events in Korea had to be rescheduled for different reasons.” Chanyeol, sitting next to Minhyuk, placed an arm around his shoulder letting Minhyuk lean on him.

“It’s just two months,” Chanyeol said trying to be positive. “We’ll see you when we get back!”

I sniffed a bit as a tear rolled down my cheek. “I guess so… but the thing is that once you guys do come back, we won’t be in the S.M. building. We’re just editors now so we’ll be staying at our house working that way. Even though we’re supposed to be you’re guys’ head production staff, we have to drop that position due to classes.”

Baekhyun pulled me in for a hug. I noticed that a tear rolled down his cheek too as he was crying from me leaving for school. I silently sobbed into his jacket as he did the same.

I don’t want to leave. I really like you.

“We’ll try to make things for filming once you come back from China, but I can’t promise anything,” Minhyuk said still on Chanyeol’s shoulder.

Well, this was a depressing dinner.

“Bye Sulli,” Tao said hugging me one last time. We were at the airport sending EXO to China unwillingly.

“I’ll miss you,” Lay said giving me a hug after Tao’s reluctant release. “See you in two months,” he said with a slight smile.

One by one, EXO hugged Minhyuk and I goodbye saying their last words before getting on the plane. Baekhyun gave Minhyuk a hug saving me for last.

He tightly embraced me not wanting to let go. “Don’t make me go,” he said rocking us back and forth.

“You have too,” I said. My voice cracked on my words as I was crying.

Even though I’ve only known Baekhyun on a personal level for two weeks now, he has made me so happy. It’s funny how one person can change your life around in such a little amount of time.

He reluctantly let me go placing a kiss on my lips. I was going to miss his warm plump lips on mine and the flying sensation it gave off. “Bye,” I said once we pulled apart.

He grabbed his suitcase gripping it tightly. “Bye,” he choked out turning to walk away. As Baekhyun walked towards the gate, Minhyuk placed his arm around my shoulder. I didn’t realize how much I was crying until Minhyuk wiped away one of my tears. Baekhyun turned around for one last glance before walking away for the last time for the next two months.

He looked right into my eyes and mouthed something.
