[NARRATOR]

It's already the final semester and the deadline for her thesis was just around the corner. Re-organising facts and findings, proof-reading and editing - Lea has been, literally, sitting in front of her desk doing all those things eversince she woke up early in the morning. She was too busy that she did not realise that she hasn't eaten anything yet. And it's already 11pm. She finally stood up and stretched her body. She could hear her bones cracking here and there. Lea then went to the kitchen to see if there was any leftover food or something that she could eat but to no avail. Her fridge was empty, and so was her cabinets. 'They would kill me if they knew that I haven't been eating regularly like this.' she suddenly thought of her bestfriends, who happened to care a lot about her, probably even more than she cares about herself.

Lea sat down by the conter and drank a glass of tap water, while thinking hard what to eat. "Ramen it is, then!" she talked to herself as she grabbed her hoodie and walked out the door. She went to a nearby shop and scanned through the ramen section to find her favourite ramen. After a few minutes, she found what she wanted and grabbed a bottle of coke and paid. She then poured some hot water into her ramen and sat down outside to eat. Lea, first, looked around to check if she was alone and that no one was watching before she started gobbling down her ramen. Well, she hasn't eaten anything since morning after all.

"Oh! It's Lea noona!" a man suddenly jumped in front of her with a happy face.

Lea was shocked, with some ramen still hanging down . She coughed the ramen out once she got back to her senses and literally sprayed the ramen to the guy's face. "Noona! What did you do that for?" he whined.

"L-L-Lay shi, what are you doing here? Wait, are you... drunk?" asked Lea, half confused and half concerned.

Lay just giggled and screamed 'Noonaaaaa I miss you' out loud. "Yup, you're drunk! Do you want me to call someone for you? Or maybe a taxi?" she asked while holding Lay who was pretty unstable.

Lay was completely drunk. He ignored Lea's questions and just giggled like a happy kid. He, then, cupped Lea's face and gave her big, happy smile before he threw up on her clothes. 'Oh. My. God.' she thought and started to panic. "Don't panic, Lea. Don't panic. Let's try calling Hae Jung. Yes, Hae Jung!" she calmed herself down.

Lea tried calling Hae jung many times, but as usual, she did not answer. Hae Jung's kinda a heavy sleeper. She wouldn't even realise it if her house caught on fire. "Damn it, Hae Jung! Pick up your bloody phone!" shouted Lea.

"Oh, noona is using bad words!" said Lay, giggling.

'Damn is a bad word to you? Tsk, tsk.' thought Lea, she couldn't help but to find Lay cute at that very moment. After a while, Lea finally decided to just bring Lay back to her home. She let Lay sleep in her bedroom so she could continue doing her work in the living room, peacefully. She wanted to go outside but then she noticed that Lay's shirt was also covered in his vomit. She had to think twice before she was able to take his shirt off to clean it up. She couldn't help but to stare at his bare upper body. 'Damn, he has a nice body. Oh wait, what am I thinking about? Concentrate, Lea. Concentrate!' she thought, blushing, and stood up.

But before she could leave, Lay grabbed her hand and pulled her closer to him. His eyes were still shut. "Eomma, I miss you." he mumbled in his sleep, tears started rolling down his cheeks. 'Poor, boy. You must've missed your family so much. I know how it feels like being away from your family.' Lea thought as she wiped the tears off of his cheeks. Lea slowly let got of his hand and went out to clean their shirts. After she's done with the shirts, she went back to her study table in the living room and stared blankly at the computer screen. 'I didn't know a boy his age would miss his mother like that. They must be pretty close.' she began to wonder.

[GROUP CHAT]

Lea: Hae Jung-ah!! You better call me once you read this message!!

Yongguk: ?

Lea: Oh, you're still awake.

Yongguk: Yeah. What happened?

Lea: Nothing. Just a girl thing. Goodnight!

Yongguk: Okay... night!

[LAY'S POV]

I woke up in the middle of the night and my head was killing me. I rubbed my eyes and looked around. Everything seemed so unfamiliar. 'Am I being kidnapped?' was the first thing that came into my mind. I jumped out of the bed, still feeling a bit lightheaded, and slowly opened the door to see if anyone was there. It was very quiet. I tip-toed out of the door and walked really slowly towards the living room. 'Wait, I know this living room. And that couch!' I suddenly remembered.

And then I heard someone strumming a guitar. It was a really beautiful sound. I took a few more steps forward and hid behind a bookshelf, not wanting to interrupt. To my surprise, it was Lea noona. She started singing in English and I was immediately hooked. I may not know English that well but somehow, I can sense sadness in her voice and her eyes. I put my hand onto my chest and I could, literally, feel my heart beating fast. 'It's happening again.' I thought to myself.

I didn't know what she's going through, but if I could, I would hug her tightly at that very moment and tell her everything's gonna be okay. The sound suddenly stopped and I panicked. I didn't want her to know that I've listened to everything, so I ran back to the bedroom as fast, yet as quiet as I could. A few seconds later, she opened the door to check up on me. Thankfully, I was able to crawl back into bed on time. My head was still hurting so eventually, I fell asleep again.

[NARRATOR]

"Oh, you're awake! Good morning, sleepyhead." Lea greeted Lay happily as she prepared breakfast for him.

Lay rubbed his eyes and sat down by the counter. He didn't even realise that he didn't have any shirt on. "No, no, no. You cannot eat just yet. Go wash up and put on your shirt! It's by the mirror in the bedroom." instructed Lea, as she pushed him towards the bedroom.

Lay's eyes widened as soon as he noticed that he was topless. He could feel Lea touching his bare skin when she pushed him to the bedrrom and it gave him butterflies. His heart started to beat faster again. Lay went back to the kitchen after he finished washing up and he was blushing like crazy. Lea giggled, slowly turning red as well. "What happened?" asked Lay with a serious tone.

"Ummm... You were drunk and you threw up on me." she said, causing Lay to smack his forehead in embarrassment.

She giggled again and said, "It's okay. No need to be shy. Here, I prepared a spicy beef soup for your hangover. Eat up. Hae Jung should be here soon."

"Hae Jung noona is coming? Why?" asked Lay, confused.

"She's gna pick you up. You guys have a filming today, right?" replied Lea with a smile.

Lay was a bit disappointed to hear that because he wanted to spend more time with Lea. However, he knew that it was impossible since he had more filming to go to that day. He let out a deep sigh and she noticed that Lay was a bit down. "Oh c'mon. Cheer up! Eat your food or i won't cook for you again!" Lea tried to cheer him up.

Lay just smiled and finshed his food. A few minutes later, the doorbell rang. 'Back to reality!' Lay thought in disappointment.

"Hyung! We were worried sick for you!" Sehun came in as soon as Lea opened the door.

All the exo members were there, in her apartment. Lea was shocked. And a bit starstruck too. "Oh, I didn't know noona can play the guitar!" said Chanyeol cheerfully as he took the guitar and started to play.

"W-Where's Hae Jung?" asked Lea shyly.

Hae Jung suddeny appeared and dragged Lea to her bedroom. "Ya!! Are you crazy?! What if the paparazzi found out about you guys?" she asked angrily.

"We didn't do anything. I was just trying to help." explained Lea, kinda annoyed.

"But still, you should be more careful!" replied Hae Jung.

As much as she tried to deny it, Lea knews that what she did was wrong and unacceptable. Especially, when it involved a celebrity like Lay. A famous K-Pop idol! She just sighed and acknowledged her mistakes. "Sorry, I wouldn't act rashly again. And you, missy. You've gotta learn to pick up your phone! What if I were going to die last night?!" she fired back at Hae Jung.

"Fine!! It was my fault too. Sorry." Hae Jung apologised.

Hae Jung and the boys then left the house. But before she could close the door, Lay stopped her and smiled. "Thank you, noona. I owe you big time. You're officially my superhero!" he said happily.

"And oh, you have a really nice voice. You shouldn't stop singing." he turned back and winked before he left.

Lea stood still, her eyes wide opened. Lay pinched her cheeks and then left happily, leaving Lea still in shock and embarrassment.

[GROUP CHAT]

Hae Jug: Eonnie! We need a girl talk! Tomorrow!!

Lea: I know, I know. Just let me know where and what time.

Yongguk: May I join?

Hae Jung: Which part of 'girl talk' did you not understand?!

Yongguk: Omg, chill! I was just joking! T_T
