K: “What is she doing here?” his eyes were clearly showing annoyance.

M:”We met a while ago and I invited her to watch my singing practice. What? Why do you look so annoyed?”

she seemed surprised.

Kai realized that his voice went out harsher than he thought. He saw Minzy looking at him with a confused face.

K:”I mean, you said you would bring Kyungsoo with you but you brought Nana so I got surprised”

M:”Kyungsoo will be here soon.” She turned to Nana who seemed in frozen state. “Come Nana, lets sit” She took her arm and walked

towards the place Kai is sitting. Minzy pulled the frozen Nana until they reached Kai who still seemed a bit pissed. “Since you are the

audience, sit here please” Minzy pointed the place across the place Kai is sitting and she sat beside Kai. Minzy looked at the two who

were sitting silently. “hey! why so awkward? Aren’t you guys a couple?” she questioned them with a shocked face, then her face softened

and she hit Kai softly with her elbow. “hey don’t tell me you are nervous in front of your girl Jonginnie?” she constantly moved her eyebrows

up and down.

K:”No not at all, why should I be, pfft” he looked at Minzy “and stop doing this face what the hell Minz!”.  He rolled his eyes.

M:”Why then? Omo, don’t tell me you guys did a love quarrel?” she was still grinning playfully.

K:”No, no I mean maybe” he decided to not to say anything. *It is best for Minz to think that we fought. Why is she not saying anything* he

thought.

M:”Aww, it is sooo normal for couples to fight!! Then take her heart with your guitar and make her fall for you again Jonginnie”

K:”Stop calling me like that! I am older than you, what an disrespectful child!” he shook his head with disapproval.

M:”hey, you only mind me calling you Jonginnie when you are mad, normally you don’t” she pouted.

K:”No, I always tell you not to call me like that, I don’t like it, you should call me Jongin oppa”

M:”No way, I am not even calling Sehun as oppa”

K:”When you want something from us, you always call us oppa you little sly brat” he hissed while squinting his eyes.

As they were bickering, Nana was silently watching them. Seeing Kai bickering with Minzy and being bratty made her surprised as she

has never seen this side of him. *Why did not he ask for Minzy to be his girlfriend, they are obviously close and she can pretend to be his

girlfriend better than me* she questioned things in her head. Her thoughts and the two friends’ childish bickering got interrupted when

a boy appeared in the scene.

D.O: “Hey guys” he greeted them and looked at Nana: “hi Nana-shi”. He sat beside Minzy.

N:”Hi D.O-shi” she gave him a warm smile.

Kyungsoo aka D.O is the nicest friends that Kai has ever had. Nana liked this quiet and polite guy from the first time they met. She still

cant believe how could a person like D.O be friends with a jerk like Kai.

*She is looking at me like I am a yet she is giving all those smiles to him, hmph* Kai thought an then shrugged his shoulders

as he find his own thought really really ridiculous.

M:”Lets get it started” she clapped her hands once to get the attention.

D:”So which song are we starting?”

K:”The thing is… are you really gonna sing in front of her? I mean you are always shy in front of people other than us”

Nana looked at Kyungsoo who was also looking at her.

D:”Yes, I can sing, I feel comfortable around Nana-shi, so no problem, I will try singing” he smiled at Nana before returning to look

at Kai. Kai got quite surprised about it but he did not say anything. Kyungsoo was really a shy guy. He never sang in front of other

people even though he has such an amazing voice. No matter what they did to convince him to join their band, he never agreed saying

that he feels incredibly shy while singing in front of others. So Kyungsoo singing in front of someone that is not one of them shocked

Kai. Kai looked at Minzy who seemed ok like it is the most normal thing. Minzy probably got surprised as well but she probably felt

shocked for a few seconds and accepted this as a normal thing like she always does. *Feeling comfortable around that witch, how

ridiculous! Did she do some kind of spell on D.O, oh my poor friend, he doesn’t know this ’s true face* he thought. Kai glared at Nana

who was smiling at D.O and Minzy. *She is capturing the hearts and minds of my friends, so this is how you play the game Im Jin ah,

huh?* Kai was still thinking.

M:”I feel so comfortable around her too” she stated happily.

K:”You feel comfortable around everybody” he rolled his eyes.

M:”I feel much more comfortable around her ok?”

D:”Ok guys don’t start it again, lets practice”

M:”Ok, lets start with ‘Billionaire’ “ 

Kai nodded and start playing the first notes. Nana looked at Kai who is perfectly playing the guitar while looking at his friends. Kyungsoo

and Minzy started singing, they shared the parts. Nana felt captured hearing their voices. *Wow they have amazing voices. Minzy has a

more mature voice than she seems and it is powerful. Kyungsoo’s voice is just purely awesome. It is so smooth, I can listen him singing

all day* She felt glad that she came as she was watching that amazing trio. And yes, Kai was part of that trio and Nana admitted that he

is good (yeah maybe not good, perfect is the tru word). When they finished the first song, Minzy asked Nana if she liked the first performance.

N:”Yeah, I really liked it! You have amazing voices guys!!” she stated. Soon after she realized Kai was also looking at her as he was waiting

his turn to be complimented.

M:”How about Kai? Your boyfriend is so cool right?” she was grinning sheepishly.

Nana looked at Kai for a moment and then looked at Minzy.

N:”He is pretty good” she said with a forced smile. *No matter how much I appreciate the guys who play guitars, I cant pamper him. Look

at him waiting for my compliment, hmph, you never gonna get that, jerk*  

Kai ignored Nana’s half hearted comment and started playing the next song. They practiced a few songs more and then stopped for a bit

to chat. Nana also participated in chatting since Minzy was constantly getting her into conversation. Nana was enjoying Minzy and Kyungsoo’s

companions. As much as the two were feeling comfortable around Nana, she was also comfortable around them.

K:”Ok, lets skip to the next song”

M:”Lets sing ‘Crush’ from David Archuleta!”

Kai started playing and Kyungsoo sang the first part until the chorus part. Minzy and him sang the chorus part together. Their harmonization

was amazing. Nana was watching them without blinking an eye. She was enjoying too much and sometimes singing along until she

felt Kai’s eyes on herself. She did not understand if he was glaring or gazing at her. Actually there was no anger or irritation on his face

and the way he was looking was not his usual way of looking at her. She looked at him too but he turned his eyes to look at his side to

look Minzy and Kyungsoo. The song was finished. Nana clapped her hands once again.

M:”Is there any request song? If you want us to sing something that you want to hear, tell us”

D:”yes, you can request a song” he was looking at Nana with big anticipated eyes.

N:”Hmmm, let me think……ok, I found one! ‘Impossible’ from James Arthur”

D:”Good choice”

M:”Why do like that song? Were you heartbroken before?” She smiled playfully again. “Hey Jongin, your girlfriend is still not over her first

love, she is still hurt from that” she started teasing Kai.

K:”I am her first boyfriend so..” he got interrupted by Nana’s sudden answer.

N:”But, It doesnot mean that you are my first love” she smirked at him arrogantly. Kai got taken aback with the answer.

M:”Hahahah, wow that was a great answer!! So what you wanna say about it Jonginnie?” she asked in a cheesy tone.

K:”Nothing, so stop being cheesy, please be serious for a second” Kai was deadly serious and it was obvious that he was pissed.

Minzy saw his expression and stopped talking. Kai started playing the song. Once again, Minzy and Kyungsoo did a great combination, 

they completed each other very well. Kyungsoo’s falsettos were amazing and Minzy’s high notes and adlibs were strong.

N:”You guys are really amazing!! Minzy you have a strong voice! And Kyungsoo, I think I am in love with your voice, it is soo smooth and y!!”

Nana stopped after she realized that she let the fangirl inside to the outside. Kyungsoo was smiling shyly with a pink shade on his faces

while Minzy was laughing hard. Kai has his best pissed off look on his face.

N:”I am sorry if my comment made you uncomfortable Kyungsoo-shi but your voice is purely perfect! You cannot hide this amazing voice

from anybody, you should let people listen you!”

M:”Did you hear, D.O? There is someone who is not from us, think also the same on that you should sing to everyone, just join the band

already!”
