Krys:”Gosh I am tired because of that brat.” Krystal said after she entered the room. Minzy and Kai looked at her messy state and laughed. She saw D.O beside them who apparently came to join the party. She smiled at him.

Krys:”Hey Kyungsoo.” D.O also greeted her and patted the spot beside him to signal her to sit down.

M:”Where is Sehun?” Minzy asked.

K:”How the hell did you manage to get away from him?”

Krys:”To my luck, We came across to Lizzy. I told her that Sehun wants to speak with her and then I flew from the scene while they were looking at each other shyly.” She dropped herself beside D.O and leaned backwards to couch. “They are soo cute together.” She chuckled.

M:”Yeap. But Sehun needs to confess already. She is waiting for him.”

Krys:”I don’t understand why the hell he is waiting!”

K:”He is trying to be sure of her feelings. You know how insecure Sehun can become when it comes to girls.”

M:”But it is obvious that Lizzy likes him back!”

K:”I don’t think it is that obvious. I mean look at how she acts. Yes she seemed to put her attention to him but we don’t know why for sure. She could be giving her attention to him just because everyone says that Sehun likes her.”

Krys:”Don’t tell me you are filling his mind with all those crap Jongin. I don’t even think that she is just noticing her because everyone says that Sehun likes her. I mean, it was really obvious that she looked down when he didn’t invite her to the New Year party.”

M:”Yes Jongin. I hope you are not making him insecure about his relationship with Liz. Even you who has the biggest trust issues among us has a girlfriend. Let Sehun be with someone he likes.”

K:”How the hell is this my fault?! It is Sehun’s problem! I have told him many times that if he likes her, he should make his move.”

D.O:”I don’t know for sure man. You were also the one who made Sehun skeptical about Lizzy’s feelings.”

K:”I have just stated my thoughts. Is it that bad to think about my friend? I don’t want him to be broken once again!”

Krys:”We wouldn’t want that either. But we just think that Lizzy can make him happy.”

K:”How can you be so sure that she is the right one for him?”

M:”We aren’t sure but we are sure that Lizzy is a kind hearted good girl. She wouldn’t break his heart, that’s for sure.”

S:”But she already broke my heart.” Sehun’s voice was heard.

Everyone turned their heads to door where Sehun just entered to room. He looked really devastated and desperate. Krystal quickly got up from her seat and walked towards him. He cupped his face and looked caringly.

Krys:”Sehun, what happened?”

S:”It is your fault. If you didn’t force me to speak with her, we wouldn’t have fought.”

Krys:”You fought with Lizzy? Why?”

D.O:”Hey Sehun come here. Tell us what happened.” He walked towards Sehun too.

Kai was looking at Minzy like ‘look I told you’. Minzy rolled her eyes and turned her eyes from Kai to Sehun. “Come here cousin. Tell us.”

S:”I don’t want to talk right now. Good night to you all.” He said and walked towards his side of the room. He closed the door behind him after he entered his bedroom. Everyone could only look behind him in silence. However, Krystal walked behind him too.

K:”Don’t go Krys. Leave him alone.”

Krys:”No I wont. He didn’t leave me alone when I was in my bad. I will be with him.”

M:”Ok. Just go Krys.” She said with an understanding manner.

5 minutes after Krystal went into Sehun’s room, a loud bang heard from the direction of the door. Kai went to door to open it only to face the very angry Nana.

K:”What are you doing here?” he raised his eyebrow questioningly.

N:”Where is Sehun? I need to talk with him.” She said coldly.

K:”He is in his room but you cant talk with him.”

N:”I need to. Let me pass.” She tried to pass him but Kai grabbed her arms.

K:”Don’t struggle Nana. Sehun is not in the mood to talk with anyone.”

N:”I don’t care. He made Lizzy cry. She came to the room crying and she is crying now because of him. I will find out what he did to her.”

K:”Like I said, Sehun is not in any mood to talk. As soon as he came, he locked himself in his room. He didn’t want to talk with even us so there is no way that you can talk with him. Please understand. He is also in a bad mood” he said.

M:”Yes he is Nana. He looked really devastated. I know you are angry because of Lizzy, even I am angry at him even though he is my cousin, but it is better to talk with him later.” Minzy said when she appeared with Kyungsoo beside Kai. Nana looked both of them but didn’t greet them because she was really upset. However, she gave up on struggling to pass her boyfriend.

N:”Ok then. I will talk to him later. Can you let go off my hands now, my love?” she said while looking directly at Kai with a cold manner. Kai let go off her slowly while smirking at her. When she was about to leave, Kai captured her behind. He put his arms around her and pulled her towards himself.

K:”Lets sleep together tonight.” He said especially making sure that his friends heard it. Nana got really angry at him because of his behavior but she still protected her composure.

N:”I-I can’t”. she said. She started to feel uneasy as Kai started to hug her tightly. He leaned to her ear and softly spoke.

K:”Why?” he said with a disappointed voice which was obviously fake. Nana frowned but couldn’t find any reason for a moment. If it weren’t for Minzy and Kyungsoo who were watching them, she would already have escaped from him.

M:”Let her go Kai.” Minzy said making Kai really surprised because she was always the one who wanted them to be affectionate. Minzy continued after seeing Nana’s uneasiness. “She said Lizzy is crying. She needs to be with her friend. Her friend needs her, right Nana?” she said while looking at Nana caringly. Nana looked her savior and smiled at her gladly.

N:”Yes, I need to be with Liz. So I can’t stay with you Kai.” She said after turning herself to look at Kai. “Maybe next time.” She said with a slight mock. Kai looked her with a wry smile.

K:”Ok then. Good night everybody.” he said with an expression which was completely different than the one from seconds ago. Nana could tell he was pissed at her but now he didn’t look like that. She tiptoed and planted a kiss on his cheek. She grabbed the chance to whisper him something.

N:”There won’t be next time, you know that right?”

K:”Don’t be so sure.” He whispered back immediately and smirked at her. Nana sighed and rolled her eyes at him.

D.O:”Ok then. Lets go. Good night Kai. We will drop your girlfriend to her room.”

M:”Yes Nana. Lets walk together.” She said happily. Nana bid goodbye to Kai and walked away with them.

When they were walking together, they were talking about Sehun.

M:”I am mad at him too as he acts like a coward. Even though he is my cousin, I am on Lizzy’s side in this.”

D.O:”But you know, he has trust issues.”

N:”Why is he like this?” she wondered the reason behind Sehun’s confusing actions.

M:”Actually there was a girl in his previous school. That girl gave him many hopes. Sehun liked that girl a lot but apparently she was only using him. She didn’t even love him. She only played with him. When he learned her true colors, Sehun felt really disappointed and lost his trust in girls. This is the summary so it may sound simple and non-important but there was more to it. Sehun really got affected by it.”

D.O:”Sehun is kind person in nature and he trusts people easily. Because he has huge expectations of people he trusts, he gets really upset when people betray him or disappoints him. He slowly learnt his lesson so he is being careful. But this causes him to be blind to the real good people. He likes Lizzy but he is scared that she would eventually go away from him. He doesn’t want to get disappointed.”

N:”But if he doesn’t try, he wouldn’t know. And also he is 19 years old. Come on. Don’t talk like he experienced and suffered a lot because of people. There is still a long way before him in this life.”

M:”Yes I agree too. But this doesn’t change the fact that he is afraid to begin a relationship.”

D.O:”Not to mention that Lizzy-shi doesn’t seem to like Sehun that much.”

N:”But she likes him.”

D.O:”Not enough to convince him. From what we know, she has said many times that she doesn’t want to be his girlfriend.”

N:”But Sehun made her angry because of this she talked like that!” she tried to defend her friend.

M:”But that made Sehun more uneasy when it comes to Lizzy. Anyway let them solve their problem. We will of course talk about this with Sehun but they need to prove themselves that they really like each other.”

N:”You are right. Lizzy should figure out her feelings properly.”

D.O:”She needs to be more eager I guess.” He stated.

Nana nodded silently. When they came in front of Nana’s door, she bid them good nights.

N:”Good night Minzy, Kyungsoo. Thanks for dropping me.”

M:”Good night. Take care of Lizzy.” She said while smiling warmly. The two continued to walk and Nana entered her room. She opened the door and saw the other girls. The girls told her that Lizzy felt asleep while crying so Nana didn’t go to her room to comfort her. The girls spent the night together by talking about their lives and mostly about Lizzy.

It was the last two weeks until the semester break. The whole school was dealing with final exams of the first semester. In these days, they were so busy with studying that Uee couldn’t find any time to go out with some boys; Raina couldn’t find any time to hang out with Sungyeol (apparently their one-night stand made them closer :D ); Minzy couldn’t find any time to arrange new parties; Nana couldn’t find any time to check the situation in her family and Kai couldn’t find any time to deal with his gang business. But all those engagement with exams and studies made easier from Sehun and Lizzy to avoid each other. Nana and Kai also benefitted from this situation as they didn’t have to act around that much. They were barely seen together and those times were only limited to studying room as they were sometimes sitting together to study. But seeing him less didn’t make the things easier for Nana. Whenever they were together, she couldn’t help but to think the night when he kissed her passionately. She was making extra effort to act indifferent around him because he seemed so nonchalant that she felt like she is the only one who got affected by the kiss. It was obvious that he was treating her nicely but he was still serious and distant which was making Nana uneasy. When they were sitting together and studying, Nana couldn’t help but observe him from time to time. She even got nervous when he bit his pencil when he was concentrated on his studying. Their studying time usually ended with Nana’s sudden leave as she wasn’t able to concentrate because of him. But of course she didn’t let him to know the actual reason behind her sudden departures. She was always finding some excuses to get away from him. It has come to the point that she started to avoid him not to feel uneasy because of him. But to ‘her pure luck’, Kai always managed to find her. He was always forcing her to teach him the subjects he is weak at.
