You were having a nice hot shower while belting out the chorus to Lee Hyori’s ‘Miss Korea’. It was morning already. The sun was out and the light was streaming in through the sunroof of your bathroom, the wind was blowing and the birds were singing, but you didn’t care if it was your idea of a ty day, you didn’t care that you had failed your maths exam, you didn’t care that your friends treated you like a freak, you just didn’t care. Why? Because you knew it. You just freaken knew it. That today was going to be perfect no matter what. It was going to be absolutely perfect.

“Because I’m a Miss Korea! Sesangeseo jeilganeun girliya! Nuguna han beone banhal iriya! Because I’m a Miss Korea!”

You didn’t sing in the shower often, at all really, only when you were in an exceptionally happy mood.  And today was one of those days when you were in an exceptionally happy mood.

“Because I’m a Miss Korea! Sesangeseo jeil meotjin girliya! Nuguna almyeoneun nollal iriya! Because I’m a Miss Korea!”

Squeezing a substantial amount of shampoo onto your hand, you began to dance along with the song as you sang it, rubbing the shampoo into your hair as you did. Despite your best efforts, you couldn’t stop thinking about last night. Or more precise, the kiss you and Luhan shared last night. You couldn’t believe it; you, Lee Saerom, were officially in a relationship with Luhan, the Luhan of Exo-M. You hadn't been that happy in a long time, to be accepted by someone like Luhan without changing who you were, you had never dreamed of anything better.

You sighed happily while lathering some orange scented conditioner into your hair, making sure it reached the tips so your hair keeps moisturized. Luhan… I guess me crushing on someone I don’t know isn’t so bad after all! We even kissed! That basically seals the deal, right? Your happy singing came to an abrupt stop. That is what happens when two people kiss, right? They are together, right? He wouldn’t… Play around with my feelings like that…right? Your happy mood seemed to decrease as the seed of doubt was indeed planted.

Luhan

“What the happened to you?” Chen asked as he looked Luhan up and down with a humoured expression. “Looks like you haven’t slept in days.”

Luhan only grunted in response, rubbing his temples. “Not now, Chen.” He was up all night playing computer games, and there was a reason for that. He couldn’t get to sleep because he was thinking of you. He was feeling guilty because he really didn’t want to be in a relationship with you, yet he could tell by your face that that is what you thought had happened. In truth, Luhan couldn’t muster up an exact reason for his questionable actions. He could say it was in the heat of the moment, but there wasn’t a real moment to begin with. If ‘just in the heat of the moment’ was his excuse, it would have been easier to get out of if he kissed you while dancing, then that excuse would have been more valid.

But he didn’t kiss you while the two of you were dancing, and right now he was running out of excuses and time.

Luhan sighed in annoyance, tired with thinking about you and the kiss, and sat down in-between Kai and Chen, pouring milk into his bowl which was filled with cereal.

“Fine then, next question,” Chen cleared his throat and faced Luhan, “Did you or did you not sleep with that chick I saw you grinding against last night?”

Luhan was already in a bad mood and Chen’s little ‘question’ was not helping the situation whatsoever. Trying to keep his mood in check, Luhan gripped his spoon and answered through clenched teeth, “Her name is Saerom, and no, we didn’t sleep together and we weren’t grinding. Nothing happened.”

Chen rolled his eyes and took a sip of his apple juice. “Someone seems to be in a pissy mood. Why didn’t you kiss her?”

“You know, I bet you’re gay under all that hair.” Kai interjected as he also joined in on the fun, eyes drifting to the stairs as he saw his girlfriend, Mina, and Sehun come down to join them for breakfast as well.

Luhan smirked as he turned to face Kai. “That’s funny… Your girlfriend didn’t say that when I made out with her.”

In a flash, Kai was standing up and had Luhan by his collar. His voice was threatening and seething with hatred, “I dare you to say that again.”

“That escaladed quickly.” Chen muttered as he turned back to his cereal, playing it safe and not getting involved.

It was Luhan’s own fault for getting Kai worked up and it was Kai’s own fault for getting Luhan worked up. Everyone knew Luhan was especially irritable when he doesn’t get enough sleep and everyone knew that Kai was more than over protective of Mina and was quick to anger when it came to her. They were both pushing the wrong buttons and the foolish and petty thing about it was that they both knew they were doing it on purpose.

Mina and Sehun gasped as they appeared in the kitchen and entered the tense atmosphere. Luhan and Kai were both glaring at each other with their hands gripping each other’s shirts. “Do you really want me to repeat what happened?” Luhan hissed as he shoved Kai back, “Because believe me when I say, I will be more than happy to.”

“Kai!” Mina, Kai's girlfriend, grabbed Kai’s sleeve and yanked on it to get his attention, “Stop it!”

Sehun quickly followed Mina’s actions and dragged Luhan away from Kai, “Whoa there bro, why do you keep bringing that up? You know how he gets.” He sighed as he plopped Luhan down in his chair again.
