Chapter Twenty

Stuck

The car was awkwardly silent. Lay and Baekhyun had suddenly taken an interest in the scenery outside their windows while Luhan glared into the rear-view mirror. You could feel it. You could feel his eyes glaring daggers into your soul, you were too much of a coward to meet his gaze but you knew once you did- the gates of hell would be waiting for you. With Luhan holding a giant pitch fork.

Next to you Eunhee and Sehun were typing away frantically on their phones, obviously gossiping to each other on what just went down.

You swallowed nervously as your eyes remained firmly on your hands in your lap.

“W-Well,” Suho cleared his throat, trying to ease the silence, “What charming weather we have today.”

Baekhyun cringed at Suho’s attempt at socialising. “It’s raining, Suho. The weather is .”

“At least I tried, Baekhyun. At least I tried.”

At that moment your phone buzzed in your lap. It was a text from Lay.

I’m so sorry.

You sighed at his text. The kiss was technically his fault but you couldn’t bare to blame him for your impending doom that was sure to come from the hands of Luhan. You began to type another reply when you were interrupted by another text.

From: Luhan the

Text him again see what happens. I dare you.

You stared down at your phone screen in utter horror as your hand began to shake slightly. If you didn’t reply to Lay you knew he would be thinking you were angry with him which, honestly, you kind of were, but you couldn’t bring yourself to hate him for it. If you did reply to Lay you were pretty sure Luhan would throw you out of the moving car. You shivered at the thought.

Throwing Lay a guilty glance you placed your phone into the pocket of your skirt.

“We’re here!” Suho called, dragging you out of your misery.

Finally! A small victorious smile started to shine through. I can finally get away from Luhan and Lay. You practically jumped out of the car after Eunhee got out, relief flooding through you as you were finally released from Luhan’s demon glare. Now I’ll just stick with Mina and Eunhee and everything will be just-

“So you did it with Lay, huh?”

You felt your body sliding backwards as Luhan dragged you away from the group, keeping you away from an escape route so you wouldn’t avoid the issue at hand and of course to keep you as far away from Lay as possible.

He had you backed against a wall in an alleyway. You refused to look at him.

Luhan scoffed. “So you did.” Despite appearing angry, Luhan was devastated on the inside. He moved a step away from you. “You know, I really thought you were different, Saerom.”

The hurt in his voice made you hurt, you were different, you were in love with him and that wasn’t going to change over some stupid kiss. “I didn’t!” You yelped as you took his hand in yours, “I didn’t… You know…Do that with Lay.”

Luhan wasn’t buying it, he pulled his hand out of yours. “Then why was your lipstick on his lips for, huh?”

Your cheeks reddened in shame. I’m sorry Lay. But I can’t lose Luhan. “Laykissedme.” You muttered quickly and quietly, barely audible.

“What?” Luhan said as he leaned in close so you he could hear you properly.

You sighed and took a deep breath. “Lay kissed me.” You said clearly as you looked into Luhan’s eyes. “Nothing else happened.”

Luhan’s eyes were dark with anger and betrayal. He didn’t know who he was angrier at; you or Lay. You were something pure and precious to Luhan, even if he didn’t understand his feelings it still didn’t change the fact that you were special. Lay should have known that. Lay. ing Lay. Luhan’s fists balled at his sides as they shook with anger. Does she not like me anymore?

“Did you enjoy it?” Luhan asked through clenched teeth.

You cringed at the viscosity in his voice. “Of course not Luhan, I’m in love with you.” You looked up at him with honesty in your eyes, “I don’t want to lose you over something stupid.” Sorry, Lay.

Luhan’s expression seemed to calm down in the slightest. “I’m better than him.” Luhan stated, still bitter. “I’m better than him and you’re going to love me.”

You rolled your eyes at his cockiness, you wouldn’t believe that this was how he was going to cope with the situation. “Listen, Luhan. I love you and everything but-”

You were cut off by Luhan’s lips moving greedily against yours. Your eyes flew open in shock. Not because of the kiss but because of how angry and demanding his kiss seemed to be. You closed your eyes and leaned into Luhan’s body, trying your best to keep up with him but gasped when he bit down hard on your lip, his tongue gliding along yours.

He pulled away only to let you take a breath while he kissed your neck and pulled your hips against his, you blushed when he bit down on a certain spot on your neck and let out a small moan. He smirked against your skin, satisfied with your reaction.

You felt his hand beginning to slide up the side of your thigh and your eyes shot open, fully realising what was happening. The both of you were having your own personal y time without a care in the world- In public.

You gasped, “L-Luhan!”

He smirked again, his hand disappearing under your skirt. Your cheeks turned red. “That’s my name, baby.”

You shook your head and slapped his hand away. “We can’t do this here!” You demanded as you pushed him away from your neck.

He rolled his eyes. “No one’s looking, come on.” He muttered as he was leaning into to kiss you again. You frowned, “Lu-”

“Oh Hi, Saerom.”

You knew who that bored voice belonged to. This time you shoved Luhan so hard that he actually went stumbling back. “Hi, Mei!” You greeted over enthusiastically with a nervous laugh. Mei was a friend of your brothers, she went to the same high school as him and he would walk her to school sometimes. Mei was a very quiet girl who kept mostly to herself, you didn’t know much about her.

M
