“Love is worth the heartache, love is worth the pain.” This is bunch of crap!

What does love make of us? It makes people impractical, delusional, and irrational.It makes us neglect everything that was there all our life. We lived for so many years; we survived nights and days without knowing the existence of another person, so what the hell is with “I can’t live without you,” when that person breaks-up with you? This is stupid.

But love is not stupid, lovers are! And we are all fooled by what the romantics told our ancestors years and years ago. They made the people believe that we should blame it on love, because it is way better or maybe because it is way acceptable than to straightforwardly say that the people are just plain stupid. Right, who would want to believe they are stupid? They blame it on heart when really it’s the mind that tells people who they love. Heart is a muscle that facilitates the regular flow of blood in our veins, what does it has to do with feelings? Poor heart. But who in the first place created their so-called ‘love’? The stupid people.

As for me, no! I’ve never been heartbroken even if I’ve dated some guys before, because I am smart enough to reject the beliefs of the majority. I am smart enough to throw away the beautiful lies and tempting deceptions of the media. I now think that maybe I was lucky to be in a broken family, because as early as the age of five, I’ve seen the truth—I’ve accepted reality. And after mom left us for the reason that she’d rather die than not be with her real love, that was the greatest and last pain I promised myself anyone could give me.

I don’t consider myself selfish. I just don’t give everything. Life and love is the same for me. It’s black or white or it’s white or black… nothing in between—simple. This is the reality I chose to believe in for myself for the last twenty one years of my existence. And I’m sure that somewhere in this world, someone has that same belief.
