Chapter 1 - Me, Her and Him.

Hum…

Where should pick my luggage?

Oh my god...

I walked for a while,  what I didn’t want to accepted was that I was lost… Stupid me! I’m in a airport! I’ll just ask for information. I see a policeman and I go towards him. Thank god, I know Korean. “annyeonghaseyo! Excuse me i need some information please?” I try to make my Korean more fluent possible. “where should I pick my luggage please?”  and he answers me “see that sign up there? If you just follow it you’ll be there in no time” I was feeling so stupid that moment… I guess I was just nervous because im in a new country… maybe.

After im done with my luggage I look in my pocket my notebook. "Here it is! Now I have to take a taxi."

 ROOONC!!!

Oh my god this noise ... Ohhh I'm so hungry! Food ... Where's my wallet? I start looking at all the pockets. I stop. I see a flat high surface. Go there and put all my 3 luggage below it and my purse on top. Start looking in every pocket, I take some things out, I continue to take until I finally find the wallet. Hmm… How much do I have? What??? 13000 won??? That’s it? What can I buy with just 13000 won? And I still have to take money for the taxi. Eun Mi said that from the airport to her house is 12000 won… Hum I have a credit card… I’m going to buy food with my beautiful and shining credit card? It is the first time I have a credit card! HECK No! The first time im going to use it ain’t gonna be here. I mean… I can buy a chocolate with this 1000 won... A tiny one, but whatever. Im not that hungry…Chocolate! Chocolate! After pack up everything I went to buy the chocolate.

Just picture this:

I was happily eating and walking up the exit to catch a taxi and suddenly someone knocks on me and I fall to the ground. It hurt a lot! I look up to see who was he just bent down to ask forgiveness he picked up his things and with a violet scarf he covered his face and ran away.

“Ouch!” I complained while arranging my things.  “Who is he? He simply could not help me up?”

*Inside the taxi*

“Good evening. I need to go to this place over here please. Can you take me?” I hand him a sheet of paper torn.

“Ye agasshi!”  he says smiling.

“Kamsamnida!” I thanked.

I turned to the window. wow! This city is beautiful! On the way I was thinking about what I am here for. I don’t even know how to start looking for him…

 Ahh ... sigh. And sigh again. And before i noticed i was on my dreamland.

"Agasshi! Agasshi!" I hear a voice. 

"Mommy? " It was the only thing I could imagine. :P

"We have arrived!" 

I woke up instantly. 

"What?" I asked suddenly waking up. 

"It's here!" he replied.
I looked out the window and saw a building with orange and red tones.

"Oh sorry. I was just... Sorry." I said sheepishly as I deliver the money, "Kamsamnida!" and I closed the car door.

I rang the bell of the 5 °floor left and I waited a while.

I'm cold...

"Yes?" a feminine voice answered. 

"My name is Miri?" It was all I could say. I admit I'm a little nervous ... 

"Miri? The foreign girl?" she asked. 

"Yes" I replied. 

"Password?" She whispered. 

"What?"

"If you really are Miri, you must know the password! It's word that I said yesterday when we were talking on the phone!"
"Which one?" I asked without having any clue what the word was.
"The one that I said before hanging up the phone!" she insisted.
And finally I remembered. First before saying “the” word took a look around to see if there is no one else around. And finally I blurted:

"Potato".

“You can put your jacket there.” She said smiling as I walked in. I nodded while taking the shoes off my feet.

She was very pretty, had brown long and wavy hair. She was slender. Her eyes were large and bright. She was nice here as she was on the phone.

I stripped my coat, it was there that I realized something was wrong..

“Where’s my scarf???” Suddenly I had a flashback.

“Oh no! He took it!”

“What’s wrong?” asked Eun Mi.

“Someone took my scarf! Ash! I should have known! And now? What do I do?”I lamented to myself.

“Don’t worry! Tomorrow we’ll go to airport, there is a place like lost & found, and and we'll search for your scarf there! I mean that person must have realized that is not his and placed it there…” She said. And then she added “We hope…”

“Eun Mi sshi! Thank you very much for caring!” I thanked her and bowed.

“Your Welcome! We’re housemates now! Aren’t we? I’m sure we’ll be great friends!” She smiled.

I nodded. “Ne, Eun Mi sshi!”

“Wait! Now that we are friends, you should call me Unnie because i'm older than you.”  She said.

“Ne, Unnie!” And we both laughed. She turned and went to the kitchenette.

“I'm cooking dinner. Oh, I forgot to tell you that my boyfriend will also have dinner here today with us. He came from Singapore tonight too! I wonder if you saw him at the airport!" She said laughing.
"Huh?" I didn’t understand anything she said.
"Forget it, I was kidding!" “Can you see that door over there?” she said pointing to my left.

“Ye.” I replied.

“That one is your bedroom!”

I walked to my room with my luggage, I opened the door and entered. I put the luggage on the floor and sat on the bed. "New home, new country, new life… and a goal. " my heart was beating uncomfortably. "I'll find him! But and then ...?” sighed. “Putz… I came here without a plan! Ok… With or without a plan I will not give up! Wont go back. "I decided." Tomorrow I will think better of it. I better go help Eun Mi."

“Eun Mi unnie, in what can I help you?” I asked nicely.

"I'm almost done. But you can put that remains on the table please.”

DIIING!

The bell rang.

“Oh! It must be him!”She said as she washed her hands and quickly ran to load the button to open the door downstairs.

I was just finishing putting everything on the table when someone knocks at the door.

Eun Mi ran to the door and opened it.

“I’m home!” Said the person at the door.

“Ow! I missed you so much!”Eun Mi unnie said happily. I stretched my head a little bit just to see who it was, but the room was being illuminated by light from the lamp beside the TV and the lighting was poor so I couldn’t see straight. And then I gave up.

“Just a hug? What about my kiss?” he asked with a baby voice making her laugh.

They seem very well together. “What a cute couple.” I thought dreaming and laughing to myself. I did not realize I was holding the Chopsticks and they hit the ground.

“Huh? Is there someone else here?” the guy asked.

“Hum… yeah! Do you remember when I told that a foreign girl is going to live here? She came today! She is helping me out in the kitchen!” She remembered. “Come in! The dinner is ready!”

I heard him take his coat. And they appeared in the kitchen.
"This is Taemin, Miri, Taemin this is the girl who comes to live here today! "she introduced us.
 

Taemin? What Taemin? When I rose my eyes I couldn't believe what I was looking at.
 

"She speaks Korean?" He whispered but i could clearly hear him. After a nod from Eun Mi he smiled and bowed. "Annyeonghaseyo, my name is Lee Taemin." He greeted.

No word would come out of my mouth. My heart was beating wildly. I started to feel my neck burning, my legs were shaking and my stomach was running laps. I don't know if I was so surprised because of Taemin, a SHINee member, or because I found the one I was looking for faster then I thought.

And he is… my housemate's boyfriend!
