Sooyoung and Myungsoo continued to glare at each other when the door bell rang. Dongwoo got up and opened the door and saw Kai standing in front of him.

"I came to pick up Sooyoung." Kai was holding his helmet.

"Sooyoung!" Dongwoo called inside the house.

Then Sooyoung walked out of the living room followed by Myungsoo.

"Jongin!" Sooyoung ran up to him and hugged him.

"Hey, babe!" Kai whispered but loud enough for Dongwoo and Myungsoo to hear.

"Let's go." Kai then said and took Sooyoung's hand.

"Thanks Dongwoo!" Sooyoung called out and waved to Dongwoo with the phone in her hand.

"No probs!" Dongwoo waved back smiling.

"Your welcome!" Myungsoo scoffed and turned back to walk to the living room.

"Your fault..." Dongwoo sighed as he closed the door.

"What were you doing in his house?" Kai asked as he reached Sooyoung her helmet.

"I lost my phone and Dongwoo found it." Sooyoung said as she put her helmet on.

"Anyways, let's go to my house?" Kai asked smiling.

"Sure... Remind me to call mom, okay?" Sooyoung said as she sat down.

Kai nodded and sat in front of her. She hugged his waist tightly and Kai started the motor. Then they drove off. What they didn't know was that Myungsoo watched them the whole time.

"You like her, don't you?" Dongwoo asked as he looked at the TV screen.

"The TV is turned off hyung." Myungsoo turned around and looked at Dongwoo.

"That's not the answer to my question." Dongwoo looked at him.

"Come on... Why do you think I like her? I mean she's a freak and a totally scary girl... Didn't you see what she did on the hallways of the school?" Myungsoo scoffed and threw his body on a sofa.

"Something no other girl dared to do." Dongwoo shrugged.

"And this makes you think that I like her?" Myungsoo raised one of his eyebrows.

"Seriously Myungsoo? Didn't you protect her because you cared if she was hurt or not? Didn't you just watch her leave with Kai because you were mad to see them together?" Dongwoo asked.

"I protected her because I had to! I can't just leave her there... If something happened to her the police would find me first since I was the last person she was with... Too much trouble! And I just watched them leave because I hate Kai and his ego." Myungsoo rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, whatever..." Dongwoo sighed and turned the TV on.

"And how is grandma?" Sooyoung asked her mother on the phone.

"She's fine... She was asking for you but I told her that you had to attend school. How are you, honey? How is Jongin?" Her mother asked.

"He's fine... I'm with him at the moment..." Sooyoung said as she looked at him.

'Say hi to your mom!' He mouthed and Sooyoung giggled slightly.

"He says hi..." She grinned.

"Oh honey, you two are such a cute couple!" Her mother chirped.

"Friends, mom. Friends." Sooyoung rolled her eyes.

"Sure, yeah... Anyways honey, gotta hang up, grandma is looking for me. Don't stay out too late or just stay over at Kai's. I love you!" Her mother said and hung up.

"She's crazy." Sooyoung whispered as she hung up.

"Wanna dance?" Kai asked Sooyoung as he watched her carefully.

"I don't think it's a good idea..." Sooyoung blushed.

"Come on, no one's at home." Kai smiled and got up.

He reached for Sooyoung's hand and pulled her up as well.

"Just follow my steps." He smiled as he took her hand and put his hand on her waist.

Sooyoung nodded and tried her best. To be honest it was difficult without music. 

"Jongin..." Sooyoung said as she focused on her feet.

"I know it's hard but it'll get easier the more you try." He smiled.

Sooyoung looked up and saw him looking at her with such a loving gaze that Sooyoung got goosebumps. They looked at each other and stopped dancing. Kai was still holding her hand as he came closer to her. He then closed his eyes. Sooyoung felt his breath brushing against her soft lips. 

"Oh ! Sorry man!" They heard Chanyeol and Kai opened his eyes.

He let out a quiet sigh and leaned back. He turned his head towards Chanyeol and looked at him.

"I-I didn't know you guys were here. Just continue, whatever you were doing." Chanyeol tried to avoid Kai's glares. 

"The moods ruined..." Kai sighed and let Sooyoung's hand go.

Kai walked out of the room. Chanyeol turned around and looked at Sooyoung.

"Sorry!" He whispered as he looked down.

"It's okay... We weren't doing anything anyways..." Sooyoung smiled and sat down.

"But... But you were- Whatever I give up." Chanyeol shook his head and walked towards Sooyoung and sat down beside her.

"So are you two now dating?" Chanyeol asked her.

"No..." Sooyoung shook her hand.

"No? But you were about to kiss!" Chanyeol blurted out.

"No, no... We were dancing and then-"

"She had something on her cheek and I wanted to wipe it away." Kai walked in.

"That's why you had your eyes closed?!" Chanyeol smirked.

"Would you just shut up?" Kai closed his eyes and rubbed his temples. 

"I should go home now." Sooyoung looked at Kai and got up.

"I'll take you home." Kai opened his eyes and was about to get up when Sooyoung pushed him back softly.

"Rest... I can go by myself." She smiled at him.

"I'll take her home." Chanyeol got up.

"Oh no, no, no!" Kai got up.

"Jongin! Rest!" Sooyoung glared at him.

Kai sighed and nodded.

"Be careful." He smiled at her.

"Don't worry." Sooyoung kissed his cheek and walked away with Chanyeol.

Kai grabbed his cheek and smiled.

"Lunch with Infinite today." Dongwoo said as he placed himself next to Sooyoung.

Her classmates turned around and looked at her.

"Stop doing this!" Sooyoung whispered as she looked down.

"What?" Dongwoo asked.

"Coming so close... People might think something else." 

"Hmm... They know you're Kai's girl. Chill." He smirked at her.

"Shut up." She rolled her eyes.

"So you're in?" Dongwoo smirked.

"Hmm... Sure. If someone doesn't mind." Sooyoung rolled her eyes towards Myungsoo.

"Don't mind him." Dongwoo smiled.

"Well then." Sooyoung shrugged.

"Yes!" Dongwoo said in English and Sooyoung couldn't help but smile.

Suddenly the class became quiet. Sooyoung looked up and saw Kai walking towards her.

"Hey babe." He smiled cutely at her.

The girls in class squeezed. Sooyoung sighed and felt Myungsoo's glares on her back. Kai glanced at Dongwoo for a second and turned back and looked to Sooyoung. He put his hand on her table and leaned in.

"I missed you." He said for everyone to hear. 

The girls in class gasped and they started to whisper with each other. 

"Um.." Sooyoung didn't know what to say.

"Anyways, I came here to tell you that we'll have dinner together tonight. I'll pick you up at 8PM. See you later~" Kai smiled and was about to walk away when Sooyoung grabbed his wrist.

"Um Jongin-ah, I'm having lunch today with Infinite." Sooyoung said.

Kai looked at Dongwoo and back to Sooyoung. 

"Okay, I'll tell the boys not to wait." Kai said and walked away.

Sooyoung sighed and watched him leave the class. Girls were glaring at her.

"Okay don't tell me you're not dating!" Dongwoo said.

"Please, stop it." Sooyoung sighed and rested her head on her desk. 

Dongwoo turned around and looked at Myungsoo who was looking pretty pissed. 

'What?' Myungsoo mouthed as he rolled his eyes at Dongwoo. Dongwoo just shook his head and turned around as the teacher walked in.

Sooyoung was trying her best to concentrate on class but she always had to think of Kai. He looked a little sad and mad when she told him that she would eat lunch with Infinite. As she starred at the empty sheet in front of her, Dongwoo poked her arm. Sooyoung turned around and looked at him. Dongwoo nodded towards the teacher and Sooyoung looked at him. 

"Please try to pay attention Ms. Kwon." The teacher said as he turned back towards the board. 

Sooyoung sighed and blushed. Without knowing why she turned around and caught Myungsoo watching her. He quickly looked away when their eyes met. Sooyoung turned back and tried to listen to the teacher now for real. 

It had been hard but Sooyoung surived the class and it was time for lunch. 

"Let's go?" Dongwoo smiled at her and Sooyoung nodded.

She quickly put her books into her bag and got up leaving with Dongwoo, Sungyeol and Myungsoo. Myungsoo was standing far away from Sooyoung. Dongwoo and Sungyeol were in the middle of them. 

People looked at them as Sooyoung walked into the canteen. They got their foods and walked towards Infinite's table where Sunggyu and Sungjong were waiting for them. On their way to Infinite's table they passed by Exo. Sooyoung smiled as her eyes met Chanyeol's and he smiled back. Kai was looking down and eating his food. 

"Where's Woohyun?" Dongwoo asked as they sat down.

"With Sanghee." Sunggyu rolled his eyes.

"The girl from the club last night?" Sungyeol blurted and Sungjong nodded. 

"She's in our school?" Myungsoo spoke up for the first time and Sooyoung looked at him.

"Yeah, we didn't know either until we saw her standing at his locker." Sungjong said.

"And where is Hoya?" Sungyeol asked.

"Library." Sunggyu said as he put some rice into his mouth.

"Nerd." Sungyeol said and began eating as well.

They were eating quietly and no one talked. 

"So...?" Sungjong tried to talk but didn't know what about.

"Noona!" He suddenly said and Sooyoung flinched slightly because it was unexpected that he would talk to her suddenly.

"Y-Yes?" Sooyoung looked up from her tray.

"Are you going to spend some more time with us now?" He beamed at her.

"Ugh... I don't know." She said as she looked over at L.

"Please, please, pleaaaase." He said using aegyo.

Sooyoung smiled and was about to answer when Myungsoo spoke up.

"Stop it Sungjong. She would want to spend more time with her boyfriend." He said without looking up from his tray.

"You have a boyfriend noona?" Sungjong asked surprised.

"I do?" She looked at Myungsoo.

"He's talking about Kai..." Dongwoo rolled his eyes at Myungsoo 

"Jongin is not my boyfriend..." She said confused.

"Oh come on now! Even a blind person would say that you two are dating. It's so obvious!" Myungsoo glared at her.

"We.Are.Not.Dating!" Sooyoung hissed.

"Sure, that's why you call him by his real name, that's why he calls you babe, that's why you will have dinner with him tonight..." Myungsoo scoffed.

"We are not dating, I said!" Sooyoung hit the table slightly.

"And besides why do you care?!" She asked him.

Sooyoung was fed up with Myungsoo acting like this towards her. Yes, she did make some mistakes before but it was only because this Myungsoo looked so much like her Myungsoo who had died a year ago. She realized that the boy sitting across her wasn't her Myungsoo. Although she knew it she couldn't help but feel a little weak whenever she saw him and that was why his words were hurting her that much. Why couldn't he just accept it when she said no? If he really didn't care why couldn't he just stop asking her?

"I don't care." Myungsoo snapped.

"Then stop talking non-sense!" Sooyoung snapped back and continued to eat.

Meanwhile Myungsoo was mad as hell. Why wouldn't she just say that they were dating? What was there to hide when they already made their relationship so public? I mean everyone knew that Kai started to attend classes again because of her and that she was the only one who was aloud to call him by his real name. Not even his closest friends called him Jongin. It was only Kai - until Sooyoung came.

Without realizing Myungsoo found himself watching Sooyoung. He had to confess that she kind of looked cute when she was mad. 

'Stop it, Kim Myungsoo. She's just a weirdo trying to gain your attention by trying to be different. Nothing else!' He told himself as he looked at his food.

He suddenly wasn't feeling so hungry anymore. Myungsoo started to dig in his food without paying attention to his friends. 

"Hyung?" Sungjong kicked Myungsoo under the table.

"OWWWWWWW!" Myungsoo cried and held his leg.

"What was this for?" Myungsoo pouted.

"What's up with you?" Sunggyu asked him.

"What do you mean?" Myungsoo asked still rubbing his leg.

"Why do you have to act like this in front of Sooyoung?" Dongwoo sighed.

Myungsoo looked around and saw that Sooyoung had left.

"Where is she?" He asked Dongwoo.

"Gone." Dongwoo said and looked away.

"Why?" Myungsoo raised one of his eyebrows.

He looked around in the canteen but Sooyoung was not there. Then he looked over to Exo's table and saw that Exo was sitting their and enjoying their meals but Sooyoung wasn't there as well.

"Myungsoo, stop playing push and pull with her. You're not a kid anymore! You should be clear of your feelings towards her. If you like her then-" Dongwoo said but Myungsoo hit the table and got up.

"SHUT UP! I DON'T LIKE HER! I DISLIKE HER, OKAY?! STOP TALKING !" Myungsoo yelled. 

Just then he heard a slight gasp which sounded familiar to him. He looked at the entrance and saw Sooyoung looking at him with big eyes as she held with her little hands as if she was scared that a scream might escape.

"Sooyoung!" Myungsoo whispered feeling a little bad about what he said earlier.

He was about to walk towards her when he saw Kai running to her and hugging her. Kai hugged Sooyoung's shoulders and walked out with her. The students in the canteen didn't notice Sooyoung and just looked at Myungsoo surprised by his sudden outburst.

"Sit the heck down!" Dongwoo pulled him down.

Myungsoo sat down and looked at the table in front of him.

"You know Myungsoo, I only ship you with myself... But for some reasons I feel like Sooyoung and you are meant to be..." Sungyeol said sighing.

"I don't know why you don't like her, hyung. Noona is pretty and nice..." Sungjong raised one of his eyebrows. 

Myungsoo couldn't take it anymore, so he got up and walked out of the canteen while everyone's eyes followed him.
Meanwhile Kai and Sooyoung were in the backyard of the school. Sooyoung started  to cry slightly and Kai was hugging her while patting her back.

"Shh baby." He said as he her hair.

"He's so mean! I hate him!" Sooyoung said crying.

"I know baby... That's why you shouldn't hang out with them... Cause Infinite is like that, you know. Going around and breaking girls hearts." Kai looked at her with a soft smile.

"Really?" Sooyoung asked with teary eyes and Kai nodded kissing her forehead.

"I mean, it's up to you to chose your friends but if you'd ask me I'd advise you to stay away from them..." Kai hugged her again as he rested his chin on her head.

"Maybe you're right... Maybe I was wrong about Dongwoo as well..." Sooyung whispered as she hugged him back.

It was 8PM and Sooyoung was waiting for Kai to pick her up. Just then the doorbell rang and Sooyoung hurried to open the door. 

"Oh..." She said surprised as she saw Dongwoo standing in front of her.

He was wet from all the rain.

"I should have taken an umbrella." He smiled slightly.

"Oh my god! You're all wet!" Sooyoung as she opened the door a little more so that he could walk in.

Dongwoo walked in and stopped at the entrance.

"Come in..." She said as she walked to the bathroom to get some towels for him.

"It's fine..." He said but she came back with two towels.

"No, Dongwoo! Come in! You'll catch a cold... I should have some boys clothes... Follow me." She said as she walked towards her room.

"It's fine... I have to go soon anyways." Dongwoo said as he followed her.

"Shht." Sooyoung said as she opened her wardrobe.

She took out a t-shirt and sweatpants.

"You must fit in... It's from the boys section." She said as she gave the clothes to him.

"Why do you have boys clothes?" He luaghed as he took it.

"I like baggy stuff..." She shrugged and smiled.

"I'll be in the living room then." She said as she walked out.

She closed the door behind her and walked towards the living room. It was 20 past eight now and Kai still didn't come.

"Is he mad?" Sooyoung whispered to herself.

"Uhm Sooyoung?" Dongwoo interrupted her thoughts. 

She turned around and saw that he was dressed into the clothes she gave him. They were a little too small but it was okay. 

"Give these to me..." She said as she took his clothes.

She walked into the bathroom and took out the small clothesline and put his clothes on there. Then she walked back to Dongwoo. Dongwoo looked at her from head to toe.

", I forgot about your date with Kai." He then said.

"It's okay... He didn't come yet." She sat down smiling.

"By the way why didn't you come with your car?" She asked him.

"It's under repair... It's not working for some reasons..." He shrugged as he continued to look at her.

"Stop looking like this..." She giggled.

"You just... Look so pretty..." Dongwoo said as he gazed at her.

"Um thanks." Sooyoung blushed.

"Oh, I came to apologize." Dongwoo then said without looking at her. 

"Apologize? Why?" Sooyoung asked.

"For Myungsoo's behavior... He didn't mean it." Dongwoo looked at her.

"It's okay... I don't care about him anymore... He's not the person I was looking for..." She smiled slightly as she looked down.

"What do you mean with the person you were looking for?" Dongwoo asked confused.

"Nothing..." She shook it off and smiled.

"Tell meeee~~" He tried to use aegyo and Sooyoung giggled slightly.

"Nothing, really... I was just saying..." She shrugged.

"You're mean." Dongwoo pouted cutely and Sooyoung laughed.

Then they opened the TV and watched some variety shows. Sooyoung kept on looking at her phone if Kai had called but there were neither messages nor missed calls. Was he really that mad? She had cried into his chest today! Why was he like that? Weren't they friends? Couldn't he at least write a message that he wouldn't come?
Sooyoung sighed.

"Are you okay?" Dongwoo asked her.

"Sure..." She nodded smiling.

"Look, uhm, I don't want to annoy you with this but..." He was biting his lower lip. Then he turned around and looked at her.

"Myungsoo is actually a nice guy." He said as he looked away.

"It's okay Dongwoo, you don't have to protect your friend... I'm not mad at him. He has the right to hate the person he wants." Sooyoung said feeling a little pain in her chest.

"He doesn't hate you. It's just that you're so different... I mean the girls in school always try to get him with doing weird stuffs like flooding his locker with love letters or leaving chocolates on his desk and stuff. But no one ever dared to walk up to him and talk to him like you did. It was just different for him to actually see a person trying really hard for him for the first time. You were the first girl to talk to him face-to-face about your feelings." Dongwoo looked back at him.

"I didn't talk to him about my feelings." Sooyoung blushed.

"Please Sooyoung. Saying you're his girlfriend and even the way you look at him is so different. You can nearly see the feelings you have for him in your eyes." Dongwoo smiled slightly as he took her hand and patted her hand.

Sooyoung looked down at her hands and a tear escaped her eyes.

"It's because I mistook him... He's not my Myungsoo..." Sooyoung whispered.

"Not now but he can be yours if you just continue to try. I know Myungsoo is like a huuuuuuge iceberg who blocks your way but you have to be his sun. You have to shine on him so he can melt, you know what I mean?" 

Sooyoung giggled slightly at the thought of Myungsoo as an iceberg and herself as the sun.

"Myungsoo is really a friend I would do anything for. I would give up anything for him and I want him to be happy. He doesn't love you - yet - but let's try and change this." Dongwoo pressed his hand against her hand.

"I don't want to get hurt, not again." Sooyoung said as she fought back her tears.

"I'll be here to pick you up. Don't worry." Dongwoo smiled and pulled Sooyoung close to himself.

Sooyoung rested her head on his shoulder and thought about Dongwoo's words. Should she really give it a try? But Myungsoo disliked her, that's what he shouted out at the canteen today. Was she ready to forget her old Myungsoo and ready to fight for the new Myungsoo?
Her eyelids got heavy and Sooyoung slowly closed her eyes. Dongwoo's chest was feeling so nice, just like a pillow specially made for her head. While she was drifting to dreamland she softly heard Dongwoo whispering.

"I'd do anything for him, even if that means that I have to give up."

Then he kissed the top of her head and they both fell asleep.

okay so the last part with dongwoo was totally unexpected... i think i'm just falling for this stupid dinosaur these days kekeke
i'm sorry to say this but i don't plan to do a pairing with dongwoo and sooyoung hehe i just wanted to write actually my feelings for him lol
