Kris stopped laughing and looked at me.

I was sitting on his stomach while he was holding on to my hands.

He looked at my face, and we met eyes. I felt my face heating up and my heart started to beat really fast.

I got off of his stomach and covered my face.

“sorry.” i said.

“It’s ok.” He said and got up.

It was awkward so I decide to break the ice.

“How did you fine this place?” i asked.

“Oh, that, I was very sad or mad one day I just kept walking and I stopped when I saw this.” He said.

“Oh, same as me.” I said looking at the pond.

He grabbed a stone and threw it at the pond.

It skipped and landed on the third skip.

“Wow, how did you do that?” I asked.

“Do you want to learn?” he asked and I nodded my head like a little kid.

He chuckle and got up.

He walked towards the pond and grabbed a rock and threw it. It skipped just like the other one.

I followed his example except you rock didn’t skip it landed in the water with a plop.

Kris chuckled when he saw that.

I pouted and try again but it was the same.

Kris walked over to me.

“Grab a rock.” He said.

I did and he took my hand. My heart started to beat rapidly.

“K-Kris, what are you doing?” I asked, and he notice that I was blushing.

He smirked and said, “ I’m teaching you how to skip a rock.”

“o-oh.” I said but my hand started too sweat.

“Now move your hand back,” he moved my hand back, “now swing it.” He said then swung my hand forward. The rock skipped but it was just two skips.

I jumped in joy, “Kris I did it!” I jumped up and down holding his hand.

I stopped and looked up and realized he was smiling, a true smile.

“Kris, you’re smiling.” I said then realized how close we were and I was still holding his hand.
