Still on Jinyoung's POV

“Because I want to teach you”

Those six words lingered inside my head and I became dumbfounded as I can be. I could feel my entire muscles contract, not letting me to move even my pinkie, making it hard for me to breathe. It seemed like the world has to stop from moving so I could digest and analyse each and every word he has said to me. My heart beats like a drum and my brain is throbbing like crazy. I was in the state of shock. No, shock is only an understatement, but I couldn't think of any words in my vocabulary to describe this strange but wonderful feeling I felt when he said those words to me. I couldn’t believe that he said that. Wait, did he just really say that?

Then Myungsoo cleared his throat as I turned around to meet his eyes - aking what he really meant with those words.

“I…I…it’s not what I…” Myungsoo stuttered, trying to back himself up from the sudden “indirect” confession he just said.

(Plays the Chaser)

I was still stiff like a stick staring blankly at Myungsoo's anxious face. Then I noticed that he was gesturing to me that my phone was ringing for like forty five seconds or less. I gasped and immediately hide my embarrassed face as I fished out my phone from my bag. I could see Myungsoo sighed and ruffled his hair as I excuse myself away from Myungsoo’s hearing area to answer the phone call.

“Yoboseyo?” I first greeted.

“Oh! Thank God you answered the phone Jinyoung”

“H-Hoya?” I exclaimed but keeping my hushed tone. I moved to a farther distance from Myungsoo to keep this convo a little private even if I didn't even know why I was doing this. Anyways, he made an "okay" sign with his hand as I took a little step farther away from Myungsoo.

“Yup. It's the one and only. Haha.”

 “Why did you call?” I asked him right away. I could feel my voice shakes a little.

“Uhm, like I promise you, I I’ll call you, right?” he said in a matter-of-factly tone.

“Ah, ne~ I remember” I let my own words trailed, don't even know where this conversation will go on. I kept silent for a while, waiting for him to utter any words just to keep this phone call going on.

“So…how are you?” he asked me back with his energetic tone.

“Fine...as always.” I smiled as I keep on stealing side glances at Myungsoo who was now staring at something God only knows what.

“Uhm… Jinyoung-ie”

“Hm?”

“Jinyoung-ie…Are you free today?”

“Huh?”

“Just asking if we could go out today” He chuckled softly on the other line.

“W-What?” I gasped.

“You said it will be okay to you if I ask you. Or are you just busy today?”

I glanced at Myungsoo who has now sitting at the stone bench at the front of the coffee shop where we were standing a little while ago. I caught him smiling at me and I immediately averted my gaze and turned back to the person I was talking on the other line.

“I guess…”
