Myungsoo’s POV

I just watched them from afar as I unmindfully grab Dongwoo’s shirt to get him back to work. I can feel Dongwoo struggling from me but I just become as unresponsive as a stiff wooden block. And the crowd was starting to gather over the two of us.

“Yah, Myungsoo, can you please let go of my shirt? My gorgeous body can be seen, you know?” Dongwoo gripped my wrist trying to pull it away from him. I can hear some girls squeal as I unconsciously giving them Dongwoo’s “abs-flashing” fan-service.

“Oh I’m sorry!” I awkwardly chuckled snapping myself out. What exactly am I doing? Dongwoo straightened up his shirt and smiled at the girls excusing himself as he went to the counter and made some coffee drinks. The girls were just there screaming, trying to get a hold of Dongwoo’s abs, fanning their blushing face, and simultaneously taking pictures of us. But I didn’t bother and just sat on the chair at where exactly Jinyoung sat few minutes ago. I cupped my chin and sighed. I clenched my fist as images of Jinyoung and Hoya together crossed my mind.

“What’s that noise?”

Ji Hye noona hollered as she came out from her room.

“Oh God, their population doubled!” she exclaimed as she saw the snaking line of girls asking for their orders while fangirling at the same time. She asked for Hoya as soon as she reached the counter. Dongwoo explained to her what happened and noona just sighed and called for me.

“Myungsoo, come over here!”

“Yes noona”.

“Try calling Hoya”.

“Why?”

“Just do it”.

I punched Hoya’s number and called but he doesn’t answer.

“Nothing from him”. I shrugged.

Ji Hye noona hissed. “Bring Hoya back here”.

“What?”

“Bring him back here. He can’t just leave you guys on this…ugh, unexplainable swooning fangirls just to date a girl”.

“Date?”

“Yes. As Dongwoo said earlier, Hoya went out on a date with her girlfriend”

“Girlfriend?”

Ji Hye noona rolled her eyes. “Why do you keep on repeating my words? Just get Hoya’s back here. Tell him, I’m furious! Her girlfriend can wait but not this ‘oh my God’ work. Arasseo?”

“O-Okay”. I muttered as noona’s words lingered inside my mind: Hoya, Jinyoung, date, girlfriend. I removed the apron from my body and went outside the café. Some girls followed me outside but I managed to escape from their amazing paparazzi skills.

“Just where on earth did they go?” I frantically searched all the way around the campus but I can’t find them. The university is so large to find two people – alone. I spotted a bench and sat there and take a little rest. I wiped the sweat on my forehead as I stare at the vast blue sky. Then it came to me. There’s only one way for me to know their whereabouts. Call her.

I fished out my phone from my pocket and gave it a good stare. Come on. Call her. It’s the only way Myungsoo. And here I go again with this inhibitions and hesitations. Why does it hard for me to call her? No, I should be brave. I told myself not to be a coward idiot if I want to know her and for her to know me better. I let out a deep sigh and called her number. It’s now or never Myungsoo. Just ask her where Hoya is, and it’s only about work, and blah-blah-blah. She’ll understand Myungsoo. She will. I convinced myself.

Ring, ring, ring

“Yoboseyo?”

“Yoboseyo?” I answered back.

“Why did you call?”

“Uhm, uhm,” I cursed myself for stuttering again. I took out my phone from my ears to see if she hanged up or not and luckily, she’s still on the line.

“Hey?”

“Uhm, Jinyoung, are you with Hoya?”

“Huh?” she paused for a while. “Yes, why?”

And it’s confirmed, she is with him. Oh great. Are they dating at this moment?

“Are you dating?” I carelessly asked.

“Huh?”

“No I mean is Hoya there?”

“Ah~ Yes, you want to talk to him?”

Then I heard the rambling on the other line indicating that she gave her phone to Hoya.

“Wae Myungsoo?”

“Oh. Hoya”.

“What’s wrong? How did you get her number?”

“Huh? Yeah. I did get it from…” I breathed. “Wait, that’s not the point of this phone call. Hey, you’re not answering your phone. Ji Hye noona is mad”

“She is?”

“Yeah and she wants you to get your back to the café now.”

“Really?”

“Do I sound not so serious?”

“O-Okay. I’ll be there in just few minutes”.

“Okay. I’ll tell her. Hey, Hoya! By the way, can you please…”

Toot-toot-toot

“…pass the phone to her?”

I sighed as I heard that stupid dial tone again. Just by hearing it really pisses me off. I stood up and sluggishly went back to the café again.
