Jinyoung’s POV

I was dumfounded as I caught myself again thinking about Myungsoo. What spell did he cast upon me to make me think about him almost all the time? I hate him! I can see Hoya was still holding my hands as I heard my phone rings. I pulled my hand from his and fished out the phone inside my bag.

Omo. It’s the jerk. Why is he calling? I certainly pushed the green button or else I’m going to hit my head again if I’d unconsciously end the call without even starting.

 “Yoboseyo?”

“Yoboseyo?”  He answered.

“Why did you call?” I eagerly asked him.

“Uhm, uhm,” he stuttered again like a kid learning his first words.

“Hey?” it seems like he’s drifting off again like last time so I have to call for his attention.

“Uhm, Jinyoung, are you with Hoya?”

“Huh?” I paused for a while. I thought he called because of me but I guess I assumed it wrong. He’s looking for Hoya who is practically on my side right now, staring at me. “Yes, why?”

 “Are you dating?” I carelessly asked.

“Huh?” God. How did he know? Is he here or somewhere? I searched him with my eyes only to be interrupted with his next question.

“No I mean is Hoya there?”

“Ah~ Yes, you want to talk to him?”

I immediately gave the phone to Hoya telling him that it was Myungsoo. I blew my bangs as I sat on the bench I spotted a while ago. Why does he need to call me if he can call Hoya’s phone instead. Psh. This jerk has some guts to really push me to my limit. I rushed at the bench leaving Hoya behind me. Hoya then sat beside me as he continued talking to Myungsoo on the phone.

(A/N: --- means Myungsoo’s answers since Jinyoung can’t hear him right?)

“Wae Myungsoo?”

 “What’s wrong? How did you get her number?”

What’s it with him if Myungsoo have my number? I furrowed my eyebrows as I scanned Hoya’s face which is getting paler.

“She is?”

Hoya looked at me with his nervous eyes. What is happening? Bother to explain to me later?

“Really?” Hoya asked.

 “O-Okay. I’ll be there in just few minutes”. Hoya pouted as he gave the phone back to me. I placed it on my ears just in case Myungsoo was still on the line but to my disappointment, he wasn’t. I just pretended like I didn’t do it and returned my phone back to my bag.

“What does he say?”

“Ji Hye noona wants me back to the café but…”

“It’s okay”

“But how about the…you know, our date?”

“There can be next time” I smiled and gently pushed Hoya away. “Go now. Ji Hye noona might be a lioness if you’ll make her angry. You might be bitten.” I joked and it made him smile widely with his canines showing.

“Okay. But before I go, I just want to ask will you still go out with me?”

 I nodded. “I think I haven’t paid you enough yet”

He chuckled and left me after he bade goodbye. I just stayed at the bench as I watch him walk away.

“Wait!” I heard Hoya shouted dashing back to me.

“Oh, why?”

“Can I get your phone number? If you don’t mind…”

I laughed quietly.

“So I could get in touch with you…” he further explained.

He’s such a… I don’t know what word will suit him. I chuckled with my own thoughts as I typed my number on his phone.

“Thanks! I’ll call you, I promise. See you Jinyoung!”

I gently nodded and gestured to him that he should go or else he will be in danger. He waves at me once in a while until his image disappears in my sight. I fished out my phone from my bag to see if there are some messages on my inbox only to found nothing. I just walked back to home – alone, thinking about everything that happened this day.

I hope he calls.

I know it’s kinda off-topic. I just want to share and probably ask for some of your advice…if you don’t mind. Well, it goes like this: I received an indirect confession from the guy whom I only considered as a good friend of mine. I don’t want to ruin our friendship by being awkward and all but I guess we still end on that awkward zone after the confession...because I rejected him and told him that it would be better if we stayed as friends… What should I do now? O.O You know, it’s the third time that it happened to me. I’m receiving confessions from my guy friends but I haven’t received any from the guy I really like the most. T_T
