Few days after the night of their Engagement party, Kim and Gerald went back to work. They were both busy for their wedding preparations. Everytime Gerald will get a chance from his busy work, he would take Kim out and will take care of her because of her condition.

A week from now, on the 26^th of June, it will be their wedding day. All their relatives and friends cooperated with them for the whole preparation. While having lunch at Serendra’s, Ashley interrupted them. “Hi guys!” she hugged both of them. “So how’s the wedding preparation?”

“Eto, medyo nakakastress pero masaya!” Kim said

“I see.. Eh kamusta ka na pala? Nagpaultrasound ka na ba?” Ashley sounded worried

“Next month pa malalaman yung gender ng baby namin” Gerald interrupted

“Ashley, ninang ka ahh?” Kim said

“Sure! Ako yung magiging pretty ninang niya!” she joked .. “Oh guys, napadaan lang naman ako kasi nakita ko kayo. Mauuna na rin ako ha. Hinihintay na ako ni bf sa labas.”

“Oh sige. Basta wag kang mawawala sa kasal namin ahh. Kundi, papakidnap ka namin!” Gerald said

“Grabe naman! Kahit magkagera pa sa kasal niyo pupunta talaga ako noh! Imagine? Wedding of the year?.. Oh siya, eexit na ko! Bye guys!” then she walked away.

“Hon, nagtext si mommy. Dun na daw tayo magdinner mamaya.” Gerald said

“Ganun ba? Oh sige. Pero daan muna tayo sa puntod ni daddy”

“Oh tara na!”

When they got onto her father’s grave, she placed the flowers they bought “Dad?”

“Ikakasal na po ako.” Tears started to drop from her eyes and Gerald her back

“Daddy sana nandito ka para ikaw yung maghahatid sa kin sa altar……. Ikakasal po ako sa lalaking mahal na mahal ko. At yung araw na yun ang pinakamasayang araw sa buhay ko. Sana masaya ka na dad. Miss na kita”

They went straight at Anderson’s after. While eating dinner, “Kimmy, anak, bumisita ka na ba sa OB mo?” Vangie asked

“Next month pa po tita.”

“Iha, from now on, mommy na rin ang itawag mo sa akin kasi parang anak na naman talaga kita eh. Tsaka magiging Anderson ka na rin”

“Sige po, mommy”

“Oh ma? Nasaan pala si dad?” Gerald asked

“Naku. Pauwi na yun bukas. Excited na nga siya sa magiging apo niya eh. Galing lang siya sa conference pero wag kayong mag alala. Present na present siya sa wedding niyo. Aba, at dapat lang naman!” Vangie blurted

They got home at nine in the evening. While preparing to go to bed…

“Hon? What do you think kung iinvite natin si Xian sa wedding natin?” Kim asked Gerald who changes his clothes

“Hmm…. Its up to you. Handa naman akong kalimutan yung alitan naming eh. Basta ba I can see na malinis na ang intentions niya in making friends with us……. Well, since wedding naman natin, sapat nang proof yun for him to believe na you’re really taken so sige! Payag na ko!”

“Okay, I’ll send him na lang the invitation sa office niya”

The days went by so fast. Its already the day before their wedding. Kim stayed at the hotel  while Gerald stayed at Anderson’s. Kahit alam nilang modern na ang panahon, they still considered the superstitious belief that a groom to be shouldn’t see his bride to be a night before their wedding so that nothing bad happens on their wedding day.

Maja, Pauline, Mel and the rest of Kim’s sisters stayed with her on her room.

“Grabe Kimmy, hindi halatang four months kang preggy. Gosh! Ang y mo pa rin!” Pauline said

“Oo nga mahfriend! Pero alam mo, sa tingin ko lang girlash ang baby mo” Maja interrupted

“Ha? Paano mo naman nasabi?” Kim asked

Mel answered for Maj “Heeellooooo Kimmy!!! A pregnant woman na sobrang ganda pa rin at blooming na blooming ay nagdadala ng baby girl! Yun kasi yung sinasabi ng mga matatanda eh. Look at yourself! Parang hindi ka buntis! Hula ko, quadruplets na yan! Sa sobrang pagnanasa sa yo ni papa Ge gabi gabi kayong nagppractice! Hmmm? Share naman diyan oh!” She said naughtily

“Che! Hindi kaya!.....................  Ikaw talaga Nini and dumi dumi ng utak mo!”

“Sus! Kunwari ka pa eh! For sure miss na miss mo na siya katabi noh?” Pauline teased

“Isa ka pa! Tigilan niyo nga ako!” Kim said

“Mahfriend, hindi mo pa rin ba talaga naaalala lahat ng memories mo?” Maj asked

“Sa totoo lang girls, hindi pa rin talaga. Everytime na pipilitin kong maalala sumasakit lang ulo ko. Pero atleast, we made new better memories naman. Kaso, everytime rin na I would think about it, naguguilty ako and I feel so sorry for Gerald kasi dapat sana matagal na kaming married, and dapat sana hindi siya nasaktan nung mga times na dinedeny ko siya as my boyfriend or let me say, fiancée ……… Alam niyo, mabuti na lang talaga at matiyaga siyang magpasensya at mag alaga sa kin. Kasi kung sumuko agad siya at iniwan niya ko agad, feeling ko hindi magigising yung puso ko para mafeel na mahal ko siya.” Kim explained

“Nako sis, mahal na mahal ka ni Gerald. Kahit pa anong mangyari sa yo, magtitiyaga siya at hindi ka niya papabayaan. Kaya nga before mamatay si daddy, contented na siya na you’re in good hands. He died happy Kimmy. Sobrang saya niya dahil si Gerald ang mapapangasawa mo. Alam niyang mahihigitan pa ni Ge ang pagmamahal at pag aalagang ginawa niya sa yo.” Twinkle interrupted

Kim smiled and thought of Gerald.

It was late night. She wasn’t able to sleep. All girls inside the room were already fast asleep. Suddenly, her phone buzzed…….. It was Gerald…… She stood up and walked outside to the balcony.

“Hello?”

“Hello baby. Hindi ako makatulog eh. Miss na kasi kita.” Gerald said on the other line

“Don’t worry hon, starting tomorrow, we’ll be together forever. Hindi rin ako makatulog eh.”

“I know na miss mo rin ako! And yes! Simula bukas, you’ll live in my arms and will stay in my heart forever” Gerald said

“Ang corny natin honey! Hahaha! Ganito ba talaga pag nagkakahiwalay tayo? Nababaliw na!?”

“Anong corny? Kunwari ka pa eh kinikilig ka diyan!”

“Anong kinikilig? Hindi kaya!”

“Suus! Yung smile mo nga abot tenga oh!”

“Ha? Paano mo nalaman?”

“Honey, look straight forward to where you are standing right now.” Gerald said

Kim is on the 25^th floor of their hotel building. And the balcony where she stands on ay katapat lang ng roof top ng building next to their hotel. She saw a man holding a phone on his ear and is holding a big balloon with the text “I love you Mrs. Anderson”…. It was Gerald.

“Honey!!! Anong ginagawa mo diyan?” she said on the other line

“Gusto ko lang naman mag goodnight.”

“Nagpunta ka pa dito para mag goodnight? Baka magalit sa yo ang mommy mo pag nalaman niyang pumunta ka dito! Alam mo namang mapamahiin yun eh!”

“Tulog nanaman silang lahat sa bahay eh. Kaya, can I have my goodnight kiss?” Gerald asked naughtily

“Oh eto Flying kiss!” Kim threw a flying kiss on him on the building next to her.

“Honey naman! Ginising ko pa yung security guard ng building na to para papasukin niya ko. Alam ko kasing lalabas ka ng balcony pag tumawag ako so I decided na isurprise kita dito. Please honey. Goodnight kiss lang”

“Eh pano? Lilipad ako papunta diyan?”

“Can you just go sa roof top ng hotel? Just make sure you wear something to protect you sa lamig.”

“Okay.”

Kim put on a jacket and went to the roof top. When she got there, Gerald is already standing there still holding the balloon.

Kim went close to him smiling “Ang bilis mo naman! Pano ka nakapunta dito agad?”

“Hmm…. Secret!” ….. “Here, for you” he handed her three roses

She handed the roses… Smelled it and smiled

He didn’t waste any time. He held her waist, neared his face on hers and brushed his lips on her lips. While caressing her back, nabitawan niya na ang balloon na hawak niya. Kim, on the other hand, placed both her hands on his neck. Their kiss went deeper. They kissed each other passionately.

After the very long breath taking kiss, Kim went back to her hotel room and Gerald left.

“See you tomorrow Mrs. Gerald Anderson”
