They left Andersons’ home past midnight. Nagtaka si Kim when iba na ang direction na dinadaanan nila ni Gerald. Papunta sila sa South.

“Ge, saan tayo pupunta? It’s late na. May pasok pa tayo bukas di ba?” ….

“Can you just start working on Tuesday? Sige na honey please? Basta relax ka lang diyan. Magugustuhan mo yung pupuntahan natin.”

 Walang magawa si Kim and just nodded. Sa sobrang haba ng byahe, Kim fell asleep. He brought her to Tagaytay Highlands.

“Honey? Wake up na. Nandito na tayo” Gerald said. It was already two in the morning.

When Kim opened her eyes, Gerald gave her a smack.

He blindfolded her eyes and guided her towards the top of the hill overlooking the the taal lake and the whole city of Cavite and Batangas.

Gerald removed her blindfold and Kim was enlightened to see the view.

“Oh my God! Ang ganda dito Hon!” she liked the place so much.

Gerald took off his jacket and put it on Kim. They just savored the moment.

Gerald was hugging Kim behind her. His arms are crossed on Kim’s tummy while she caresses his face from behind. They spent an hour in with the same position just overseeing and enjoying the view.

When Kim turned around, she saw lighted candles throughout the hill and petals scattered. The candles are placed around and it formed a heart shape.

And they are standing in the middle of the heart.

“Ge? Para saan to?” ….

Gerald just caressed her face and a tear fell from his eyes. Kim wiped away his tears using her thumb and she kissed him on his cheeks.

Gerald stared at her.

“Ge! Bakit ka ba nagkakaganyan!” Gerald held both her hands.

“Alam mo, dapat pala hindi ko sinisisi ang Diyos na kinuha niya ang alaala mo……… Dapat nagpapasalamat ako sa kanya ngayon dahil yun lang ang kinuha niya sa yo at binalik ka niya sa akin…… Kim, maikli lang ang buhay. At maraming masasayang na panahon kung pareho lang nating hihintayin ang pagbabalik ng memories mo……. I want us to start again. Lets start a new life Kim. Let's make new memories. We’ll start from the beginning. Let’s be friends again, let’s start dating again, I’ll start courting you and be my girlfriend again. This time, I will love you more. I will let you feel all my love for you.”

Gerald placed both of Kim’s hands on his shoulder then he placed his hands on Kim’s waist. A group of musicians started playing the music. “Honey, this song is for you.” And Gerald started singing
