It was already eleven in the morning when Gerald woke up with a feel of heavy headache.

“Argghh, ! Sakit ng ulo ko!” he blurted out.

Suddenly, the bedroom door opened and Kim brought with her his breakfast.

“Good morning hon! Kamusta pakiramdam mo? Here oh, kumain ka na muna ng breakfast.” …..

 “Don’t mind me, busog pa ako.” Gerald said while getting up from bed.

But Kim pushed him down and said “Hon please, Im sorry, alam kong galit ka sa akin. Sorry na please for not remembering your birthday.” ….

 “Hindi ako galit okay? So please let me prepare for work. Di ba may big project kayo ni Xian? Bakit nandito ka pa? di ba dapat ready ka na for work?” Gerald said sarcastically.

“Hon naman please! Give me a chance naman para makabawi sa yo. Ang laki ng pagkukulang ko sa yo. And I skipped work today kasi mas importante ka sa akin. Hon, kung alam ko lang na birthday mo kahapon, hindi na ako pumasok.” …..

“Kim, you don’t have to do this. I understand your work, kaya kung nakokonsesya ka lang, Im telling you, okay lang sa akin.” Then he stood.

“Where are you going?” …..

“Ill be preparing for work.” ….

“Hindi ka papasok ngayon. Sinabi ko na kay Neil!” …..

“What?! Marami akong aasikasuhin sa office, kailangan ako nila Neil.” …..

“I said, hindi ka papasok today! Whether you like it or not, you have to stay with me!” Kim’s voice raised. But Gerald still ignored her and walked towards the bathroom.

Kim got so annoyed sa pagmamatigas ni Gerald so she held his arm, let him face her and kissed him possessively. Her hands mussed up his hair on his upper neck. She placed his hands on her waist. Syempre, lalake lang si Gerald and he cant resist the iness and beauty of the woman in front of him so he completely gave up. He responded to her sweet kisses. Their tongues invaded each other’s mouths. They kissed feverishly until they found themselves on the bed with Kim on top of Gerald. He was about to remove her clothing when she stopped.

“Ge, honey, I’m so sorry. Please let me be the one to make your day. I know and I feel na masama pa rin ang loob mo sa akin. So please give me a chance.” ……

“Honey, don’t worry about me. Okay lang sa akin. Pero I need to go to work talaga. Sorry I just got carried away.” then he left her.

Kim was left alone teary eyed. “Wag kang susuko Kim! Magiging okay rin kayo!” She said to herself.

At Gerald’s office,

“Oh pare! Bakit nandito ka? Di ba may hangover ka pa?” Neil said …..

“Medyo masama pa ang loob ko kay Kim eh. Ayoko lang na may masabi akong makakasakit sa kanya kaya umiwas muna ako.” Gerald said ….

“Bahala ka diyan bro. Pero sana binigyan mo siya ng chance para makabawi sa yo. Di ba nga, she skipped work kasi mas importante ka sa kahit ano pang bagay sa buhay niya. Tapos iniwan mo lang siya. Bahala ka diyan dude.” Neil said then he left.

Sa buong maghapon, hindi makapagconcentrate si Gerald sa work niya. He thinks of Kim. He felt so stupid for leaving her.

“Kahit ano palang gawi ko, hindi ko siya kayang tikisin.” He said to himself so he decided to leave his office and just go straight home.

Kim, on the other hand, was busy preparing a very special dinner for Gerald. She cooked all his favorite foods. She decorated the house and prepared herself for their special night.

Before Gerald went home, he dropped by the flower shop and bought flowers for Kim as a sign of his peace offering.

When Kim finished all the preparation, she took a bath, changed into a casual dress and put light makeup on her face. “Let’s see Mr. Anderson kung hanggang saan ang kaya mo!” Kim naughtily whispered to herself.
