When Gerald got home, he noticed that it was dark inside their unit. He thought it was brownout.

“Kim?...... Kim?” he searched the whole living room pero wala pa din si Kim.

Then he noticed a light towards the dining area so he walked straight there.

He was speechless when he saw lighted and scented candles all over the floor. Then flowers are decorated around him, rose petals are scattered on the floor. He smiled at the cake served on the table with an icing that says: “Im Sorry”

Kim came out from behind him hugging him tight.

She crossed her arms on his chest and abs whispering the words “Im Sorry” on his ears. Then Gerald turned around and kissed her hungrily. After that breath taking kiss, he finally said

“Hindi naman kita matitiis eh. Para sa yo” then he handed her a boquet of flowers.

“Thank you!” then she gave him a smack.

 “Lika, I prepared all your favorite foods. Kailangan ubusin mo lahat yan! Tonight, icecelebrate natin ang birthday mo!” Kim proudly said …..

“Hon, thank you for all of these pero you don’t have to do this, napagod ka pa tuloy.” …..

“Ano ka ba hon! Its your birthday kaya tonight, Ill make you happy. Magiging masaya tayo.” She said lovingly.

She let him sit on the chair and she sat on his lap to feed him. She got a spoonful from all of the dishes she cooked then sinubuan niya si Gerald one at a time.

“Honey, alam mo bang birthday ko araw araw kaya everyday mo rin ako susubuan.” Gerald naughtily said

“Kung may ganitong service sa hotel niyo, for sure malaki ang net income niyo dahil sa akin! Basta ikaw ang magbibigay ng service, kahit for lifetime babayaran ko!” Gerald jokingly said …..

“Loko loko ka talaga hon!” then she pinched his ear.

“Wait lang hon, para sa akin lang ba lahat ng food na to? Syempre dapat kumain ka rin!” Gerald said then got the fork from Kim’s hand then sinubuan niya rin ito.

“Honey, tikman mo itong cake!” …..

Both of them stayed in the same position.

After that very sweet scenario, Kim stood up and led him towards the living room.

When she the light, Gerald saw pictures of them from the present with dates and captions on it.

When he looked at the first picture, it was their picture when Kim was still in the hospital. It says “First meeting, CRAZY! ;)”

Then he looked on the second picture, it was their picture when they first went out together and a caption on it says “Happiest day of my life!”

Gerakd smiled when he saw the caption.

Then he scanned all the pictures of them when they were in Tagaytay, Anderson’s house, restaurants and malls they went to, etc….  that were posted with captions on it.

On the other side of the wall, he saw sticky notes posted.

A note posted says: “January 4, 2012 = Gerald first told me the words “I love you” ….

Another note says: “February 27, 2012 = Gerald officially started courting me” then he also scanned the notes posted “Gerald’s first surprise,…… Gerald’s kilig ever surprise, …… blah…. Blah……

Kim came from behind him and gave him a box. A song entitled From This Moment On by Shania Twain is played while Gerald opens the box,

A picture of them at Eastwood’s restaurant when Kim first met Ashley was placed inside.

Then he read the captions at the back, “February 3, 2012 ------- The day I fell in love with you” Gerald was almost in tears when he saw the picture. Kim’s just staring at him controlling her tears.

A sticky note is also placed inside the box and it says (the date on that day) “March 8, 2012 -------- 8:20 pm ------- The night I’m going to say YES!  I love you so much Gerald!”

From this moment on

Gerald was still speechless reading the words written, Kim came closer to him. She caressed his face and said “I love you so much honey! Im sorry if it took me so long to tell you! I realized na hindi natin kailangan ibalik ang nagyari sa atin sa past kasi, right now, we made new good memories together. At mas mahal kita kung ano ka ngayon.” Kim declared while crying.

“Sssshhh…. Honey” Gerald was also in deep tears while wiping away her tears then he said “I love you more! Noon pa man, mahal na mahal kita, now and forever, mahal na mahal pa rin kita. Kahit kunin pa sa atin ang memories ng past natin, we can still make new and better ones. I love you so much honey!”

Then they kissed on the lips to seal their love for each other.
