Kim and Gerald were dropped by Maja and Mateo at the airport by seven in the morning.

“Mahfriend! Enjoy kayo sa bakasyon niyo ah! Hmmm… Kelan ba kasi ang kasal?” Maja asked Kim while Mateo and Gerald unload their things from the trunk.

“Ikaw talaga mahfriend kahit kalian chismosa ka talaga! Hindi pa nga namin napapag usapan yun.” Kim said

“Sus! Eh pano kung magpropose na uli sa yo si Papa Ge sa bakasyon niyo?”

Kim was silent and could not answer Maja. She just stared on her eyes. Maja snapped at her

“Uy! Natulala ka na diyan! Ano? Hmm… Don’t tell me hindi mo sasagutin.” Maja confusedly said

“Ikaw talaga kung anu ano na naiisip mo. Kung ano naman yung mangyari, ready na ako. Tsaka mahal na mahal ko si Ge…. Kung magpopropose na siya sa akin, edi go! Kung hindi pa, okay lang! hindi naman ako nagmamadali” Kim said a matter of factly.

“Hay nako! Wag niyo na kasi patagalin! Eh kung tutuusin naman dapat by this time, happily married na kayo eh. Kung hindi ka lang nagka amnesia.”

Maja’s words were stocked on Kim’s mind. Kim thought to herself how painful it is for Gerald to not pursue their marriage because of her situation. She felt sorry for she caused the man of her life too much pain after her accident. She loves Gerald very much and the only thing she wanted to do by now is to make him the happiest man on Earth.

Mateo and Gerald on the other hand, while unloading the bags,

“Dude, magpopropose ka na ba ulit kay Kim sa bakasyon niyo?” Mateo intriguingly asked

“Ikaw pare, kalalake mong tao chismoso ka!”

“Eh ano na nga ba? Kung ako sa yo, hindi ko na patatagalin yan! Alam ko namang ang tagal mo nang gustong ikasal eh. Ano? Will you or will you not ask her?”

“Mahal na mahal ko si Kim dude. Ayoko na siyang mawala pa sa buhay ko. Pero hindi ko naman kayang pilitin siya kung ayaw niya pa. Baka dahil dun, mawala ulit siya sa akin.” Gerald said sadly.

“Ano ka ba? Obvious na obvious naman na in love na in love kayo sa isa’t isa! Tsaka wala namang masama kung susubukan mo. Diskarte mo na yan dude!” Mateo said and walked away from him to unload more things from his car.

Gerald kept thinking on what Mateo and Neil said to him regarding his wedding proposal for Kim. “Bahala na.” He whispered to himself.

Oh Mahfriend! Mat! Salamat sa paghatid sa amin ahh!” Kim said as she bid goodbye to Maja and Mateo

“No problem Kimmy. Sana mag enjoy kayo sa bakasyon niyo!” Mateo blurted

“Dude, thanks ahh! Ingat kayo!” Gerald said

It was 9am when Kim and Gerald finally got into the plane. Gerald noticed Kim for being silent. “Honey? May problema ba? Masama ba pakiramdam mo?” Gerald asked Kim whose staring on the window. He put his right arm around her and held her close.

Kim hugged him tight and said “Don’t worry about me. Siguro nahilo lang ako kasi ngayon lang ulit ako nakasakay sa plane. Mamaya, okay na ako.”

“Oh sige, nandito naman ako eh. Matulog ka na lang muna para makapagpahinga ka” He said and let her rest her head on his chest.

When they arrive Mactan International Airport in Cebu, Chiu’s family driver, Mang Ernie fetched Kim and Gerald. Inside the car…

Kim was quiet and continued her gaze outside the window. Gerald held her hand and caressed it. “Honey, ano ba talagang problema? Kanina ka pa malungkot eh.” Gerald said worriedly

Kim stared on his eyes and hugged him tight “I love you so much baby!” She said and a tear fell from her eyes

“I love you so much too baby. Ano bang nangyayari sa yo? Kinakabahan ako niyan eh!” Gerald told her as he wiped her tears.

“Nothing. I just wanted to say sorry for the pain I caused you because of my amnesia. Im so sorry baby. I love you and all I wanna do is to make you happy” Kim said lovingly as tears continue to fall from her eyes

Gerald tightened his drip “Sshhhh.. Honey naman eh, sabi ko naman sa yo di ba, ang mas mahalaga is yung what we have right now. Kalimutan mo na yung nangyari before. Atleast ngayon, mas masaya na tayo. Kaya wag ka na malungkot okay? Let’s enjoy na lang our vacation.” He said then kissed her on her forehead.

They remained in the same position for the whole trip. When they arrive Chiu’s mansion, John Paul, together with her sisters immediately greeted and welcomed them.

“Halika pasok kayo! Kumain muna tayo before you visit lola sa room niya.” Kam cheerfully said

While eating…. Twinkle interrupted

“Kamusta ka na pala Kimmy? Kamusta ang work niyo?”

“Hayy.. Eto ate, medyo nakakastress lang talaga. Kaya nga naisip na naming ni Ge magbakasyon para makapagpahinga.”

“Teka lang, you mean kayo na ulit ni Ge? Naaalala mo na lahat ng memories mo?” William said

“Hindi kuya. Ewan ko ba! Nakakainlove talaga kasi tong mokong na to eh!” Kim elbowed Gerald while eating.

“Sino ba naman hindi maiinlove dito? Gwapo eh!” Gerald jokingly blurted

They laughed altogether. After they chat for a while, Kim and Gerald went straight to her lola’s room. Her lola Linda was very old and was advised to just stay on her bed.

“Hi Lola!” Kim and Gerald greeted her and hugged her tight.

“Kimberly! Nako ang apo ko! Ang ganda ganda talaga! Teka, sino ba itong gwapong kasama mo?” Lola Linda said

“Lola hindi mo ba naaalala si Gerald, boyfriend ko? Akala ko ako lang may amesia.” Kim said

“Lola, ako ho yung palaging nagdadala ng mangang hilaw sa inyo noon. Padala ho ng mommy ko, si Vangie ho.” Gerald politely said

“Ahhh.. Ay oo, si Vangie, yung yaya ni Kim nung maliit siya. Ang gwapo mo pala iho. Ikamusta mo na lang ako sa nanay mo.”

Gerald raised his eyebrow at Kim and Kim just smiled at him. “Naku Ge, may pagka ulyanin na pala si Lola. Pagpasensyahan mo na lang.” Kim whispered

“Vangie pala pangalan ng yaya mo noon?” Gerald .

They stayed there to chat with Lola Linda. Kahit makulit at malabo minsan kausap si lola Lydia, they had fun talking with her.

At four in the afternoon, they left the Chiu mansion and turned to WC Hotel and Resort Cebu to visit the facilities. They were accompanied by Lakam and William who manage their Hotel in Cebu. WC Hotel in Cebu is located near the sea and is within the WC resort.
