Gerald was the first to wake up. It’s already ten in the morning. Kim was still peacefully asleep.

“Aww.. poor baby. She got so tired last night!” He said to himself and smiled. He slowly got up from the bed and was so careful not to wake Kim up. He got dressed and decided to take a bath. When he got out of the bathroom only with a towel on his waist, “Uh-oh! Wala pala akong dalang damit!” He thought to himself. He checked on the closet near the bathroom and there, he saw clothes folded and hung still with tags on it. Those clothes are really intended for the guests who would check in the presidential suite.

“I love this hotel!” he whispered to himself. He changed into walking shorts and a white v neck shirt. He went to the kitchen and prepared something for their brunch.

While he’s busy cooking their meal, Kim woke up with a heavy head. She heard Gerald busy in the kitchen so she decided to take a bath first. When she got out, she chose some clothes in the closet and wore a mini shorts, tank top and put on a red three fourths checkered polo and tucked it in.

Gerald found her inside the bedroom combing her hair. “Good morning honey! Breakfast and lunch’s ready!” He said it and hugged her from behind.

Kim caressed his face from behind her. She turned around and gave him a smack on the lips “I love waking up like this everyday” then she smiled at him.

After they ate their early lunch, they decided to head home. They did not change their outfits anymore. Gerald called the security and asked him to park his car in front on the hotel lobby. They got out from the elevator hand in hand. Xian, who just came inside the hotel, saw them exiting the lobby. He got more jealous realizing that they stayed in the hotel suite overnight and must have changed into more comfy clothes. When Gerald saw him, he turned his head and went through different direction.

Gerald saw his car parked in front of the lobby so they got in and drove out.

While driving…

“Honey, I think we should visit your parents first before we go on to Cebu kasi one week din natin sila hindi makikita.” Kim suggested

“Ahmm.. Oo nga noh! Okay, let’s drop by Serendra first to buy something for them. Mom said kasi na nandun daw si baby Sue and si ate Jen for two days eh.” Gerald said

“Ahmm Ge, who is Ate Jen and baby Sue?” she confusedly asked

“Ahhh.. Si ate Jen yung step sister ko. Actually, mas close pa sa yo si ate Jen kaysa sa akin. She and her daughter Sue, lives in Gen San and stays here in Manila pag vacation nila. Actually, Sue is now three years old. And was named after you.” He declared

“Me?”

“Yes! You!” Sabi ko nga sa yo, sobrang close kayo ni Ate Jen and nung nagbuntis siya, napaglihian ka niya. Paglabas ni Sue, kamukhang kamukha mo. So ayun, she named her Sue.”

“Aww… Ang sweet naman! I cant wait to meet them!”

“Ang tawag sa yo ni Sue ay Mommy Kim. Kahit three years old pa lang yun, sobrang daldal niya na. Ikaw nga yung palagi niyang kakulitan eh!”

“Talaga!! …… Sana naaalala ko sila” she said and got silent

Gerald saw her sad face and held her left hand and kissed it. “Honey, sabi ko naman sa yo di ba, you should not be worried of the memories you lost coz we have all the time to make new ones. Kaya nga kinwento ko na sa yo yung relation niyo ni baby Sue and Ate Jen ngayon, para hindi ka na mabigla later. Kaya wag ka na malungkot okay? Smile ka na baby. Ate Jen knows your situation kaya maiintindihan ka niya.”

Kim was still staring at him and she locked her hand on his. “Thanks hon!” …. “Ahm, by the way, where is Ate Jen’s husband?”

“Ahh, si kuya Mark naman yung asawa niya. He works kasi in California so paminsan minsan lang siya nakakauwi dito.”

“Ahhh” Kim said

They are now parked at Serendra’s. They bought Gerald’s mom’s favorite pastries and Kim decided to drop by the toy store to buy something for Sue.

When they arrived Andersons residence, baby Sue excitedly welcomed Kim and embraced her. “Mommy Kim!” Kim knelt and hugged her. She then stood up para kargahin si baby Sue.

“Hello baby Sue, Mommy Kim has a gift for you! Pero kiss muna” Kim said then Sue gave her a peck on her cheeks. She then handed her a baby doll.

“Wow!” Sue joyfully said.

“Hi Kimmy!” Jen said as she walks out of the door to greet them

“Hi Ate Jen right?” Kim said

“Oo Kimmy. Miss na miss ka na namin!” Jen said and hugged Kim tight

“Nakwento nga sa akin ni Gerald kanina yung about sa inyo. Pasensya ka na ate ahh kung hindi ko kayo natatandaan. Pero sa totoo lang, kanina pa ako excited na makilala kayo! Para naman makapag kwentuhan tayo!” Kim said

“Oh nandiyan na pala kayo! Lika pasok kayo!” Vangie interrupted

“Hi po tita!” Kim said and made beso with her. … “Hi ma!” then Gerald did the same

“Lika mga anak! Kimmy, miss na miss ka namin!”

They had their snack there. Kim had a very fun moment with Ate Jen and Baby Sue. The afternoon was filled with making up for their lost time. At six in the evening, Kim and Gerald decided to head home.

“Oh mag iingat kayo sa bakasyon niyo ah! Kim, Ikamusta niyo na lang ako sa lola mo and sa mga kapatid mo.” Vangie said

“Sige po tita. Salamat po.”

“And Kimmy, pakisabi din kay Twinkle and Lakam na bumisita sila sa amin sa Gensan pag vacation nila. Miss ko na rin sila eh!” Jen interrupted

“Sige ate Jen. For sure, matutuwa sila”

After their exchange of good byes, Kim and Gerald left.

When they got home, they decided to pack their clothes and things they will be using for their vacation.

“Honey! Baby Sue is soooo cuute! You’re right! Kamukha ko nga siya!” Kim said as she folds her clothes and puts them inside her luggage.

“I told you! Ahm, honey, saan mo gustong kumain tonight? Mag oorder na lang ba ako ng take out?” Gerald said

“Ay di ba nagpadala si tita Vangie ng kaldereta? Yun na lang yung dinner natin.” Kim said

“Oo nga pala noh! Sige, relax ka lang diyan. Ako na magpprepare.” He declared

After their dinner, they finished packing all their luggages and they decided to sleep. Tomorrow’s flight will be early in the morning.
