Gerald, on the other hand drowned himself from drinking. After he left Serendra, he just went at Bonifacio Global City.

And there, he stayed at The Draft Gastropub. Sobrang sama ng loob niya kay Kim for not giving importance on his special day.

When he checked his phone, he saw several missed calls and text messages from Kim. But since he was really drunk, he ignored all those.

A familiar girl went close to him. “Gerald?” ……

“Gerald! It’s you nga! Anong ginagawa mo dito mag isa? Where’s your fiancée?” the girl asked. …

“Hey Ash! Tara, celebrate natin ang birthday ko! Inom pa tayo! Waiter! One tequila glass please.”Gerald groggily said. …..

“Oh, I’m sorry Gerald, pero lasing na lasing ka na eh. Iuuwi na lang kita.” ….

“No! Ayaw ko pang umuwi! Mag cecelebrate pa nga tayo eh! Shhiigee naa! Birthday ko naman eh!”

“Gerald, tama na!” then Gerald’s phone rang again.

Ashley was so fast that she got Gerald’s phone.

“Hello?” Ashley said on the other line

“Hello? Sino to? Bakit na sa yo ang cellphone ng boyfriend ko?” Kim annoyingly said…..

“Oh Kim! It’s not what you think ahh.. I saw Gerald kasi dito sa bar, eh sobrang lasing na siya, he even passed out, ngayon lang! Where can I bring him ba para makauwi na siya?” ……

“Ganito na lang, tell me your exact location and ako na ang susundo sa kanya.” ……

“Okay!” Ashley told Kim where their exact location is.

Kim was waiting for a taxi when Neil’s car passed by, “

Kim! It’s late na ah! Saan ka pupunta and why are you alone?” Pauline said ….

“Pau! Si Gerald kasi eh, lasing, pupuntahan ko siya ngayon para ako na magdrive ng kotse niya.” ….

. “Ganun ba? Oh sige, hatid ka na namin dun.” Neil interrupted ….

“Oo nga Kimmy, delikado pag mag isa ka lang. Tsaka, doon din naman ang way namin so lika na!” Kim got inside their car and when they reached The Draft, they immediately ran in to look for Gerald.

Neil first saw him. “Ayun!”

They saw him really passed out. And Ashley was there comforting him.

“Hi guys! Naku, iuwi niyo na to. Mukang hindi ata siya marunong uminom. Buti nakita ko siya kundi baka wala nang sumagot ng phone niya.” Ashley said.

“Thanks Ashley ah, sige, mauna na kami. Salamat ulit.” Kim said …..

“Okay! No problem! Ingat kayo!”

Neil half carried Gerald towards his car. Kim drove the car while Neil and Pauline followed them home.

When they finally got home, Neil rushed to get Gerald inside his car and guided him towards their bedroom.

 “Neil, thanks talaga sa inyo ah. Buti pala nandito kayo kasi hindi ko naman kayang buhatin tong si Ge. Hindi na pala siya makakapasok bukas……. Pau, ikaw na bahala magsabi sa board na hindi rin ako makakapasok. Mas importante sa akin si Gerald kaysa sa project natin.” …..

“Okay! Wag ka mag alala Kimmy, kami na bahala dun.” Pauline said and they left

Kim removed Gerald’s clothing and cleaned him up. She changed his outfit to white sando and walking shorts.

Seeing Gerald in a situation like this made her cry. She caressed his face,

“Im so sorry Ge. Im so sorry. I don’t want to see you like this. Importante ka sa akin Ge. Sana malaman mo yun. Sana malaman mo ring mahal kita. Oo, mahal kita. Kahit hindi ko man maalala ang pinagsamahan natin noon, my heart doesn’t forget. Sobrang saya ko pag kasama kita. Nasasaktan ako pag nakikita kitang nasasaktan.” She cried harder ….

“Im so sorry for hurting you. Sana hindi pa huli ang lahat. Promise, pagkagising mo, you’ll be the happiest ever.” Then she kissed his cheeks and went to sleep.
