Kim and Gerald both started work by Tuesday.

Gerald just dropped Kim in front of their hotel lobby.

“Bye Hon, text mo ko mamaya pag magpapasundo ka na okay?” ….

“Sige, ingat ka” then they kissed and Kim stepped out of the car.

“Good morning Miss Chiu. Welcome back” the employees warmly welcomed Kim.

“Mahfriend! Welcome back” Maja interrupted and gave Kim a hug.

“Naku mahfriend, madami na ata ako utang sa yo eh. Halos one month din ako nawala and lahat ng trabaho ko sinalo mo.” ……

“Kaya dapat, triple ang salary increase ko at may libreng vacation din ako” Maja teased Kim.

“Oo ba! Bayad ko na yun sa lahat ng tulong mo.” …..

“Naku naman tong si Kimmy, joke lang yun noh! Ang sa kin lang naman, basta okay na yung memory mo, okay na din sa kin yun. Pero since ikaw na nag offer, di ko na tatanggihan!” then both of them laughed.

Inside Kim’s office, while she’s reviewing all their financial reports and marketing plans, someone knocked on her door

“Come in” Kim said

“Kimmy! Bumalik ka na pala sa work!” Pauline said when she came in.

“Pau! Lika pasok ka. Oo kailangan ko na bumalik eh. Kaso nahihirapan pa rin ako kasi hindi ko maintindihan yung iba dito. Alam mo na.” Kim said shyly.

“Don’t worry, syempre tutulungan ka namin diyan noh!” …..

“Thanks Pau ah. Gusto ko rin sana magsorry sa yo sa mga nasabi ko nung huli tayong nagkita. Sobrang depressed lang kasi ako dahil kahit anong pilit ko, hindi ko kayo maalala. Sorry talaga sa mga nasabi ko.” ….

“Ano ka ba, okay lang sa kin. Naiintindihan ko naman yung nararamdaman mo. Kaya kalimutan na lang natin yun okay?”

It was late in the afternoon and Kim received a box of take out with a dozen of roses and a note inside.

“Here’s your lunch honey. Maj told me hindi ka pa raw kumakain, dapat hindi ka magsskip ng meal para hindi ka manghina. Alam mo naman na sa yo lang ako kumukuha ng lakas kaya paano pag nanghina ka?. I love you, Gerald”

Maja found Kim smiling when she entered her office.

“Hmmmm? Hulaan ko, galing kay papa Ge yan noh?” Maja teased Kim.

“Alam mo ikaw mahfriend! Intrigera ka talaga! Ba’t mo sinabi kay Ge na hindi pa ako kumakain, ayoko kasing nag aalala pa siya eh.” ….

“Sus, pero kinikilig ka diyan.” ….

“Heh!” ….

“In love ka na ulit kay papa Ge?” ….

“Alam mo, nawala lang naman yung alaala niya sa isip ko. Pero sa totoo lang, pag magkasama kami, iba yung nararamdaman ng puso ko para sa kanya.” …..

“That’s love! Ayieeeee!” ….

“Ssshhhh. Balik ka na nga dun! Ang ingay mo eh!” ….

“See you later Mrs. Anderson!” Maja teased.

It’s already eight in the evening and all the people in Kim’s department are starting to leave.

“Kimmy, hindi ka pa ba uuwi? Bukas na lang yan!” Pauline said when she passed by Kim’s office.

“Sige, matatapos na to. Mauna na lang kayo thanks!” ….

“Okay, ingat ka ah. Bye!” …

“Bye!”

Kim was about to text Gerald para sunduin na siya but the security guard interrupted her from her office. “

Maam Kim, may isang cliente pong gustong makipag usap sa inyo. Hinihintay niya po kayo sa loob ng conference room.” ….

“Ahmm, sige manong salamat.”

She went straight at the conference room. When she entered, no one’s inside. While searching the whole room, someone pulled her and put a blindfold on her eyes.

“Sino ka?” Kim screamed.

“Sshhh, just follow me.”

Then she was guided going upstairs. They used the elevator and when Kim removed her blindfold, she was at the roof top of their hotel building.

As she walked going to the dinner table set for two, with balloons and hearts lighted and hung around, someone whispered in her ears just behind her “I love you”

When she turned around, it was Gerald.

“Ge!? Kinabahan ako kanina, akala ko kung ano nang mangyayari sa akin! At may pa client client ka pang nalalaman diyan ah!” ….

“Sorry honey, drama lang yun!” then he handed her flowers.

“Thanks, ahm, hon, para saan naman to? Ikaw ah, palagi mo na lang ako sinusurprise! Ano bang meron?” …

“Honey, hindi naman kailangan na may occasion pa para isurprise kita. Wala lang! gusto ko lang magdinner tayo. Sabi ko naman sa yo eh, liligawan kita araw araw.” …..

Kim smiled and gave him a hug. “Diyos ko Lord! Eh sino ba namang hindi maiinlove kung ganito ka gwapo at ka sweet ang boyfriend mo!” she said to herself

After dinner, they went straight home. They are sleeping in one bed. But that’s it. Gerald respects Kim’s decision so the sweetest thing they do in bed is to cuddle and kiss.

Three months have passed and Gerald and Kim do the same routine.

When weekends, they attend the mass and visit their families. They both got busier but they still find time for each other. Everyday, Gerald expresses Kim how much he loves her.
