Gerald slept in the living room kasi mas malaki yung couch.

When Kim woke up, she found a note that says “Just went to work. Take care! See you later. I love you, -Gerald”

She smiled when she read the note. She busied herself sa paghahalungkat ng mga gamit nila ni Gerald. She searched al the albums, videos of them and she also cleaned the house.

Gerald, on the other hand, busied himself sa pag aasikaso ng mga business proposals for their clients.

He even skipped lunch.

“Pare! Kain muna tayo!” Neil said when he passed by Gerald’s office.

“Sige pare, mauna na kayo. Tapusin ko lang to.” …

Buong araw nang subsob sa work si Gerald. Kim tried calling him.

When he answered “Hello Ge?” ….

“Kim? Napatawag ka?” …

“Ah, tatanong ko lang sana kung anong oras ka uuwi. Nagprepare kasi ako ng dinner.” ….

“Kim, sorry ah. May meeting pa kasi kami mamaya. Itabi mo na lang yung food kung hindi maubos salamat” …

“Ah ganon ba? Sige ingat ka na lang” …

“Bye"

For the whole three weeks, minsan lang kung magkausap si Kim and Gerald. Gerald always comes home late and goes to work early kaya hindi na siya naaabutan ni Kim.

Kim also spent the whole three weeks going out with Mel, Maja and her other friends.

It was Saturday night when Gerald came home early. Kakatapos lang maligo ni Kim that time. She wears a tank top and a mini shorts which makes her look more y and she just finished preparing their dinner.

“Oh Ge, buti maaga ka ngayon. Lika na, kain na tayo”

Gerald nodded “Sige, magpapalit lang muna ako ng damit”

He went to his bedroom to change his clothes. He now wears white sando and a walking short.

“Ang sarap talaga ng Kare Kare mo!” Gerald said while eating and Kim just smiled at him.

“Ahmm Ge, mag iisang buwan na rin kasi akong palagi na lang nandito sa bahay and lumalabas minsan with my friends, siguro, sa Monday babalik na ako sa work” ….

“Are you sure na kaya mo na?” …

“Oo naman!” ….

“Oh sige ganito na lang, everyday ihahatid kita sa office and susunduin after. Sabihin mo na lang sa akin kung anong oras uwi mo.” ….

“Hindi na Gerald, marunong naman ako magdrive eh. Kaya ko na sarili ko para hindi ka na rin maabala.” …

“Kim, alam ko namang kaya mo. Pero siyempre, I want to make sure na ligtas ka nga. Ayoko na maulit yung nangyari sa yo. And wag mong isipin na maaabala lang ako kasi it’s my duty to serve you dahil mahal kita.”

Napatigil si Gerald when he said the words. Kim too was just quiet when she heard those words

After supper, they helped each other to clean up. When everything was put to place, Gerald took a shower and got ready to sleep when Kim called him “Ge! Gusto mo bang matulog na lang dito sa kama? Masakit pala kasi sa likod pag sa couch.” ….

“Ahm, Kim, baka hindi ka makatulog?” …

“No, I’m fine. Tsaka gusto ko rin ma feel kung paano tayo matulog before.” ….

“Ah, gusto mong mafeel? Sige. Eh pano ba yun, hindi tayo natutulog nang hindi nag --- alam mo na!” Gerald naughtily said

“Ah Ganon!? Sige, baka gusto mong matulog sa bathroom!” Kim jokingly said.

“Eto naman! Magbebehave na po ako kasi miss na miss ko na to!”

He laid himself on the bed and hugged Kim tight.

“Ge!” Teka, hindi na ko makahinga!” ….

“Ay sorry, kasi naman, miss na miss ko na talaga to eh. Every night, hinihintay kong patulugin mo ako diyan sa tabi mo. Buti na lang sinabi mo na rin sa kin finally!” ….

“Eh, natry ko kasi matulog sa couch kanina eh. Ang sakit pala sa likod. Kawawa ka naman.”

Gerald was still hugging Kim behind her “Kim,” …

“Hmm?” ….

“Pwede bang honey yung itawag mo sa akin? Kasi honey mo naman talaga ako eh. At honey din kita” Gerald said lovingly…

“Okay, honey!” ….

“Ahmm, hon?” Gerald said ….

“Hmm?”…

“Pwede rin bang humingi ng good night kiss?” …. Kim faced him and gave him a smack on the lips.

She was about to turn her back again when Gerald grabbed her face again and kissed her possessively. He positioned on top of her and began kissing her neck and back to her lips again. They are kissing each other passionately when kim stopped

“Ge, Honey! Kiss lang di ba?” ….

“Haahh… eh, hindi ba pwedeng ano rin, ano, yung ano, ---” ….

“Honey naman eh, kiss na lang muna okay?” …

“okay!” … Gerald made a face but kissed her again and both of them fell asleep.
