I looked down at my caller ID, which flashed: APPA. I immediately unlocked my iPhone to answer the call. “Yoboseyo?”

“Bomi-ah, I heard you got into Seoul University!” Appa’s voice burst through the speaker.

“Ne, appa! I’ll be moving back to Seoul with Ah Ra. Will you ask one of your drivers to take us to the apartments I talked to you about?”

“Ah yes, I’ll ask someone to take you guys there.”

“Don’t tell me you’re going to make me meet your bands…” I bit my lip. For one, I hated KPOP since everyone in that industry was like a robot being controlled by a big company. “You know how much I hate them.”

“Bwoh?” My sudden statement startled Appa. “Ani, I won’t do that.” I had the ability to tell when Appa was lying.

“APPA! Don’t lie to me!” I stomped my foot.

“I’m not lying to you, Bomi.”

“Aish, whatever Appa! I need to go now; Ah Ra is waiting for me. See you in two days!”

“Arrasso.”

“Bomi! What did your Appa say?” Ah Ra dragged me into the elevator.

“He’ll send someone to pick us up at Incheon airport.” I grinned slightly.

“I still can’t believe you’re THE daughter of Lee Soo freaking man!”

“You want to meet Super Junior, right?”

“Ne, NE, NEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!” Ah Ra smacked me repeatedly until my arm turned around.

“Yah! Stop hitting me!” The elevator doors opened and I quickly dashed out before Ah Ra could hit me again.

When I reached the road in front of the building we lived in, I turned around at the panting Ah Ra beside me.

“Aigo, why must you be such a good runner?!” Ah Ra leaned against the gate and inhaled sharply.

“Let’s go eat now.” I rubbed my growling stomach and chuckled.

“If you ask your Appa to let me meet SJ, I’ll buy you whatever you want to eat!” Ah Ra bargained.

“Andwae!” I pretended to choke her but she flashed me a death glare.

“Pwetty pwease?” Ah Ra did her aegyo and I eventually gave in.

“Okay, okay.” I sighed and began walking down the sidewalk. “I want Arby’s.”

“Yay!!! Bomi, YOU’RE AWESOME!” Ah Ra leaped onto me and gave me a bear hug.
