My name is Dara, I am an only child. My father is a Doctor, working for a rich family that was living in the middle of the forest.

I wondered why they live there but never ask my father.

My mother died when I was only one year old. My father said she was attacked by a wild animal while she was heading to the store two blocks away from home, and was declared dead instantly. Not new in our neighborhood, because we are near the thick forest. Wild animals just pop anywhere.

I'm so sad that I couldn't remember how my mother take care of me, because I'm too young when the time she left us, but my father said that my mother loves me so much. I cried every time I remembered her, but I can't do anything about it. We can't bring her back, I just tend my longing toward her through our family photo album and hug it to sleep.

I am such a loner, I don't have friends in school, and was constantly bullied, because of my thick glasses, and weird passion. Who will have a good sense of fashion when you grow up with just a father and no woman guidance in terms of fashion. Sigh, but the glasses I didn't wear because of my poor eyesight, but just to have some cover-up. Did I tell you that I am a very shy person? I guess not. 

I am living my whole life inside the house and only came out during school, without my father threatening to disown me, if I don't go to school, ranting that he doesn't want an illiterate daughter, I won't ever step out of our home. Sigh, my father sometimes is a pain in the , but I love him so much.

The only thing that keeps me company is my pet wolf. See I am weird right, wolf as a pet? But he's a tame wolf, and very obedient to everything I say.  My dad said he found him on the side of the road starving to death a month before I was born and brought him home. 

He's by my side always, except when I go to school because a pet is not allowed. We sleep together in my room, eat together, and even bathe together, but something mysterious things happened one night, it was my senior year, and we have a senior ball. I was crying, begging my father that I don't want to go because I will only be a laughing stock in there, but he forced me, buying me a dress, and even hired someone to do what he said a makeover for me. I beg him I don't want to go because I don't have a date, and no one will want me there, but he said he knew someone to me, then he called my pet wolf that was now huge that scared the hell to everyone that saw him. 

His midnight black fur shine, and so soft to touch. Of course, I bathed him every day. He smells like rain, and mint, I wondered he smell like that, but I won't complain, I love his smell. He barks when he saw me cry. He always did every time I cried since we are young then my tears dry.

My father grinned petting my wolf, and my eyes widen when my wolf shift into a human in front of me. 

Holy !!! A god likes a human. More or less six feet tall, tan skin, well-built body,  dark thick hair, thick eyebrow, thick curl lashes, blue eyes, small and pointed nose, pink luscious lips, sharp jaw, muscle chest, and... holy cow he was.
