Looks can be really deceiving. As slender and as beautiful she maybe, Kim Chiu is one of the best NBI agents in Manila, because of her effectiveness in acting and her great agility. No one would think she’s an agent with her fragile physique and sweet little face. She encountered a problem when her long-time partner Matthew Evans had to leave the group. She desperately needed a partner, favorably someone big, strong and experienced; this is where Gerald Anderson comes in.

As a trained soldier and criminology graduate with connections to the head of the NBI leader—being his nephew—he quickly got the spot. Rumors surfaced that because he was family the job was given to him, but it was not the case. He earned it with his own blood and tears. His passion for the job and helping people get the justice they deserve made him stand out from the rest of the candidates, giving him the majority of the votes.
