That night, Taehyun took a bus to Seungyoon’s house.

He had promised his boyfriend to meet him tonight as he got something to discuss with him.

Ding, dong!

After a few seconds, the door was opened.

A man in his 30s could be seen from behind the door.

“Annyeonghaseyo. Is Seungyoon here?”

That man then gave Taehyun the sweetest smile that he has ever seen.

How I wish to have a dad like him.

“Annyeong. Are you Seungyoon’s friend?”

At the moment Taehyun wanted to answer, he could see the man in front of him gasped.

“Oh, Lord. Are you…”

“Yes, dad. He’s Taehyun. Nae namja chingu.”

Taehyun’s jaw dropped as he heard the words that Seungyoon blurted out.

He really didn’t see it coming.

He then glared at Seungyoon who was smiling widely beside his father.

“Why don’t you ask him to come inside?”

Seungyoon’s father then made a way for Taehyun while pushing Seungyoon aside.

“Make yourself at home, Taehyun-sshi.”

He then walked into the kitchen, leaving Seungyoon and Taehyun in the living room.

“Ya, Kang Seungyoon!”

Taehyun hit the boy beside him with a pillow.

“Wae? It hurts!”

“Why did you say that in front of your dad?”

“What? Oh, that you’re my boyfriend?”

Taehyun nodded before folded his arms across his chest.

“I’ve told him about us already.”

Seungyoon sounded proud before lay on Taehyun’s lap.

Taehyun was surprised at his sudden act but pretending to play it cool.

“But you said you need more time to come out to him.”

He then Seungyoon’s hair unconsciously.

“Nae, but sooner or later, he will find it out too. So, I thought it was best to come out to him as soon as I got the chance.”

Seungyoon then looked up to his boyfriend and smiled.

“So, what brought you here tonight?”

He then got up before positioning himself beside Taehyun comfortably.

“There’s something that I need to tell you.”

Before Taehyun could continue with his words, Seungyoon’s father called them from the kitchen.

“Yaedeul ah, dinner’s ready!”

“Come on, Taehyun. Let’s talk again after dinner.”

They sure had a tummy-filling dinner just now.

Taehyun didn’t expect that Seungyoon’s father was skilled in cooking.

It was such a fancy dinner, even they only had it at the comfort of the home.

There were medium-well steaks, mashed potatoes, and grilled vegetables.

“You’re so lucky, Yoonie-ah. To have such a skilled dad – an accountant who was great in cooking.”

Seungyoon smiled before threw himself onto his bed.

“Oh gosh. I’m so full. And now, I feel sleepy.”

He then glanced at Taehyun who was busy with his phone.

As he peeped at the screen, he could see that his boyfriend was playing the game.

“Taehyun-ah, come here.”

Seungyoon arranged the pillows, signaling Taehyun to lie beside him.

“Put your phone aside and have a rest for a while.”

“Nae.”

Taehyun did as he was told and threw himself onto the fluffy bed.

“You’re right. Now I feel like I’m gonna doze off.”

“But before that, aren’t you going to continue where we left earlier?”

Taehyun then turned to his right to face Seungyoon.

Now, both of them were only a few inches from each other.

Gulp.

Control yourself, Taehyun.

Keep calm and relax.

“Hyunnie, gwenchana?”

“Huh? I’m okay. Right, let’s continue with our talk. How am I supposed to say this?”

Seungyoon then laid his eyes on Taehyun, focusing on what he was going to say.

“Actually, I was thinking of resigning from the café.”

“What? Are you serious? But, why?”

Right before Taehyun could explain more, Seungyoon had attacked him with those questions.

“I know this is so sudden. But I had my own reason to leave. And please don’t misunderstand as I’m not going to leave you. Ever.”

From Seungyoon’s face, it could be seen that he was restraining himself from crying.

“But, why?”

He asked Taehyun for the second time, hoping that he would share his reason for leaving.

Sad and sulking Seungyoon was the last thing that Taehyun wanted to see.

If possible, he wanted to make Seungyoon happy and smiling every single time.

But, because of that one reason, he had to see his beloved one feeling down in the dumps.

Taehyun then pulled Seungyoon into a hug and caressed his head softly.

"I'll tell you when the time is right."
