It was an ordinary morning in Seoul.

The sky was blue and the sun was shining brightly.

Some people were walking their dogs.

Some were riding bicycles.

And some were just sitting under the sun, enjoying the breeze on their face.

So did Seungyoon.

It was still early in the morning, but he already went out to Hangang Park.

For him, it was a nice day to have some fresh air.

And to free his mind from some of the problems.

Mainly because of Taehyun.

He wanted to clear up his mind for a while and didn’t want to think about it for the time being.

Until now, he couldn’t reach Mino and that made him a bit worry.

He must busy with his mom, he guessed.

He tried to be as positive as he can, but he couldn’t lie to himself.

Failed to reach his best friend made him a bit anxious.

He didn’t meet him for a month already, and both of them didn’t know when Mino is coming back to South Korea.

Maybe next year.

Or two years in time.

He lied down on the grass and let out a heavy sigh.

“I think it will be great if I take a nap for a while.”

A few moments later, Seungyoon already went into the dreamland.

In his dream, he met with Taehyun.

Again.

For God’s sake.

The tarot card reader back in the States told him that he will not dream about Taehyun anymore.

I’ve already met him in real life.

But, why?

Was she lying?

The dream was a bit different from the previous ones that he had.

This time, he saw her mother was talking to Taehyun.

It can’t be.

Do they know each other?

From his position, he couldn’t hear clearly what they are talking about.

Sometimes, his mother was caressing Taehyun’s hair and smiled.

Then, she kissed his forehead.

Seungyoon felt a bit jealous and couldn’t stand it anymore.

“Andwae!”

He screamed at the top of his lung and shot up from his nap.

Huh, where am I?

He looked around before realising that he was still at the park.

Some of the people were looking at him, puzzled.

He flashed them a smile and got up before walked away from the place.

He was still thinking about the short dream that he had just now.

What is the connection between his mother and Taehyun?

Do both of them have some sort of relationship?

If so, I might be related to Taehyun too?

All of those things were too complicated for him to digest.

He still couldn’t find out the real reason why he kept dreaming about Taehyun from the start.

And now?

He felt a bit dizzy and nearly tripped on his feet.

Luckily, a passer-by managed to grab him and helped him to stand up straight.

Oh God.

“I need to go back now.”

“Jjinja??! Seriously??”

“Yes, Mino. I’m being serious here.”

“Seriously? Like..seriously?? You’ve met him?? Daebak!”

Seungyoon sighed and rolled up his eyes.

He couldn’t believe Mino was thinking that he was joking about Taehyun.

He will never be joking about this serious matter.

“Mino, calm your , okay? For God’s sake, where have you been?”

Mino’s giggle can be heard from the other line.

“I’m not going anywhere. Just, I couldn’t find my charger, so…”

“Like, seriously dude? Your charger is missing? Why don’t you borrow your brother’s instead?”

Geez.

Such a nuisance.

I had worried about him for nothing.

“Hehe, mianhe Seungyoon-ah. I promise to pick up your call as soon as I get it, okay?”

Seungyoon lied down on the bed as his head still felt heavy.

“And, you know what? I still have a dream about him.”

“You still? But, Aunty Ahn had told us that you’ll not dream about him anymore when you actually meet, right? But…”

“Yeah, I know that. Don’t you think she’s a fraud?”

Seungyoon tried to convince Mino that the card reader was a scammer and going to regret they had seen her.

“No, no. It can’t be! I’ve known Aunty Ahn for months. My dad also did go there, actually. And what she had told him was true.”

“But, you only know her for months, Mino. Not years, or even decades. We will never know…”

“But, still. My dad went to see her regarding my mom, asking her for a reading. And she said that everything will be okay for my family and that my mom will be healthy like usual.”

Seungyoon was speechless and didn’t know what else to say.

He thought that Mino was right at some points, though.

So, how?

How am I going to solve this problem?

Unless...

“Mino, I think I know.”

He felt a bit guilty by blaming Aunty Ahn for the thing that happened.

“What do you mean?”

Seungyoon took a deep breath before continued.

“I think it is because I didn’t meet him face to face. You know, like literally meet and talk to him.”

“So, you didn’t even meet him for real? But, you told me that you already met him.”

“Yeah, it was just that I saw him, not talk to him or anything else.”

He felt stupid for a moment.

What he thought might be the reason why he kept dreaming about Taehyun.

At the time he went with Jinwoo to meet Taehyun, he didn’t talk to him.

And the time at the café, he just saw him and did nothing at all.

From that moment, Seungyoon knew that he needed to confront with Taehyun.

I need to do it.

By hook or by crook.

And it's for my own good too.
