Chapter 33
Just DifferentJust Different
Chapter 33
Jiyeon’s POV
“Why are you smiling like that?” I asked Hanbin as he seemed to snuggle closer to me. After laughing I lightly pushed him away. “Because it's our fourth anniversary together you're being like that? You must have really prepared something.”
Of course he would have prepared something, there was no way he didn’t set anything at all. But even if he hadn’t prepared anything I would have been happy, because he only was enough to make me smile. Well, it was him and my family.
“I just feel like smiling whenever I'm with you. It's also great that you didn’t wear a too revealing outfit.” Hanbin leaned on my shoulder while talking.
“I don’t like feeling uncomfortable, that’s why I wore a simple knee length dress, it's not in case you may not like it.” Even though it was slightly because I didn’t want Hanbin to frown when he sees me in something revealing, I wasn’t going to openly say it to him. He would have smirked all night and tease me all my life.
Hanbin chuckled on my side. “I would have made you change anyways.”
“Whatever. Speak up, what are the plans for tonight. I wore high heels, so please don’t make me walk too much. I haven’t been wearing heels for long, so it's uncomfortable.”
The high heels are the thing that makes me suffer over and over again. Probably the only thing.
“I can carry you, so don’t even think about it.”
Finally we stopped at our destination and got out of the taxi. We were in front of a restaurant. I felt proud to have picked out a nice outfit at least, because I didn’t know anything about tonight’s plans. While walking inside, Hanbin took my hand and lead me. Hanbin wouldn’t rent the whole restaurant for a night, but I'm sure he would prepare something else – I expected. However when I walked in, I didn’t even think about seeing my family and friend sitting and chatting on a big table.
“The Queen arrives!” was heard from everywhere and I couldn’t help but burst out laughing. When I glanced at Hanbin, he also was struggling to keep a straight face.
“That’s too embarrassing.” I whispered to Hanbin as we walked towards the table. My and Hanbin’s seats were somehow in the centre, we were surrounded by my favorite people. I couldn’t help but smile widely as I sat down. Myungsoo oppa was on my right and on Hanbin’s side my mother and father were sitting, looking at me.
Before I could greet anyone, Hanbin leaned on my side and whispered.”Gotta keep the in laws near.” I couldn’t only laugh. It was a typical thing he would say.
It was the fourth anniversary of me and Hanbin dating. Did you think it was marriage? Well, I'm still not completely insane to marry a popular idol, however as time passes I get drunk on his love, so I may end up signing for a marriage.
So, it was such an event. While I imagined him and I sitting, facing each other while enjoying a nice meal, I received so much more. My family and friends. Since Hanbin knew how much meaning a family carries in my heart, I felt thankful that he prepared so much.
“You look great again, Jiyeon-ah. Honestly, it's quite overdone, don’t you think so.” Myungsoo oppa spoke and I looked at him.
“If it wasn’t for this dinner, I wonder if I had seen you somewhere else but in the company.” I mumbled and I must admit, I felt like scolding him. For the past years M
