I believe I follow him through the dark of the wood. It feels like I won’t be any immortal anymore. It’s not for long for me. Nor him. He is there… waiting for me to end everything… there… there…

Suddenly I feel so suffocated. What is this? I can’t breathe as I know someone has chocked on my neck. The person’s power is a lot greater than me. Who is this?

There I see him… running back towards me… I scream inwardly “No… Please no… Don’t come here…,” but he is coming towards me. It’s too late, I know, as I can’t even feel any air surround me anymore. The mysterious person who holds my neck doesn’t stop his act eventhough…

Minseok is coming towards us.

     “Sarang!!”

     I can see Minseok’s face. It’s so blurry, but I know, it’s his. So, he is fine after all. That mysterious person doesn’t kill him, or me. We are safe. I sigh, relieved. Both of us are still alive. Nothing’s better than this. Unconsciously I reach Minseok’s face, cup his cheeks. His eyes widely open as I lock mine with them. I pull him closer on to me and within a second I have crushed my lips with his. It feels so warm and comfortable, not until suddenly I feel my body gets hurt a lot. It’s my heart. It is like back then when Minseok kissed me on my room, on my own bed at home. Does his power overpowered me again? Is it a dream? Or, even real?

     “Sarang??”

     His voice echoes in my head when I feel my body gets so limp and I can’t help but surrender to the drowsiness.  

     It is then when I feel my throat gets so much dry I open my eyes. Roll my eyes widely, I sit on my butts, and take a look at my surrounding. It is not the wood anymore. It is my room in the Nature-Bound Center. So… is that just another bad dream? The mysterious person who tried to kill me, and Minseok who ran back towards me, just a dream?

     I shake my head rapidly while kicking the blanket away. I slightly get out from the bed and try to walk to the door. But, before I can take even the first step, my attempt has failed. I fall on my knees. It’s as if I don’t have any energy at all. My muscles feel so weak and lifeless. I can’t even move my body. I try to drag my legs. But, it hurts a lot. I look around, hoping to see if Lu Han still sits on the chair. But he’s gone. I am alone. And, I can’t move. What the hell…

     “Your Highness?”

     I look up to see Kris opens the door and hurriedly runs towards my direction. I jolt when he touches me. “K… Kris?” I still can’t believe my eyes. He is indeed alive. He helps me to stand on my feet. “Why are you here?” I ask lowly.

     “I am doing some patrol with the other boys.” He utters. “Now you wake up?”

      I nod. “How long I sleep?”

     “Three days.”

      I widen my eyes in shock. “Tt—three dd—days?” I stutter. “Are you kidding me?” I hold his arms while trying to sit on the chair next to my bed.

      “Not at all.” Kris answers. “You slept three days.”

      “How come?” I try to remember that I slept just probably about a night. How can I sleep three days without waking up? “I just slept… with Lu Han by my side…,” I mumble.

      “Yeah. That what you feel.” Kris smirks. “You have such a battle in your dream, Your Highness.”

      “Sarang.” I sternly look at him. “Call me with just Sarang… you know, we are no stranger, you are my friend.”

       Kris looks at me confused. “Are we close enough to can even call each other name?” He asks. “Uhm.. really? So, do you remember your past memories as Mama?”

       “Memories?”

       “Yes. You, Minseok, Myungsoo, Dujun, me, and the others.” He gazes me. “No?”

       I shake my head. “Not at all.” I utter. “What were you supposed to be in my past memories?”

       Kris suddenly looks nervous. “I am just…,” He clears his throat, “… a vampire.”

      “Right?” I laugh. “You were just vampire, exactly, just like right now. Nothing to worry, right, about the past?” I keep laughing until without realizing it Kri
